I'm very curious what the book will be about!

Any details on the "continental war" that's discussed?

Not sure if it's been posted here already, but the classes are up on Demiplane!

Whoa! What are those things on the cover?? Super cool

Will the art in this book be the same as in the old Bestiary?

LOVE the flavour of this class. Love the vitality network ability. It seems super useful and flavourful.

I agree with most people in that Rhythm being primal seems a bit odd. I get what the idea behind it is but it doesn't seem to fit the primal theme.

Any chance we could have the review removed of the individual who stated they did not even buy the product? :)

Yeah is it possible to ban a user who constantly leaves trolling reviews?

Basically, the whole schtick of the book is in ways for people to become immortal. Both of the classes get it, and it's full of archetypes that get it too. Also, the death of the God in question is the inciting event of the book.

We look at the Core 20, we say "off of this list, if we were to pick one to kill, which one is the most likely to result in a sudden profusion of immortals and proto-immortals? One name in particular jumps out.

Where'd you find the information about the archetypes?

I wonder if these class playtests will be on Pathbuilder. Can't remember if the previous playtests were.

I love the Glass Cannon Network. They do podcasts and Twitch.

Great cast chemistry, great story-telling and super polished production. Highly recommend checking them out! Their Blood of the Wild podcast is amazing.

They are launching a playthrough of Gatewalkers on Sept 14th, so looking forward to that!

That will be the title of the rulebook, which starts off with the death of shod, exploding in the sky…so god goop everywhere. That seems like an event that won’t be happening in an AP to me but what do I know?

I think the AP tie in will be post god death.

Death of shod?

The second pic looks like someone from Arcadia. Maybe wearing their cotton armour?

Cultural background influenced perhaps by real life pre-contact Zapotec civilization?

We know that Camazotz is going to be be featured relatively soon…

Do we? I love Camaztoz! Where was that hinted?

First one looks HAWT but also war-like. Maybe this is the Warlord or Battle Commander type class?

Second one looks like they are carrying a lot of stuff..thats all I can glean! Can't wait to see the full art on the 31st!

Anyone know if they've discussed anything more about the Seven Dooms for Sandpoint adventure?

Woah, $60 per book, and you need at least THREE of them!?

$180 is a BIG ASK for the bare basics you need to play the dang game.

All the rules are available for free on Archives of Nethys! So you really don't need to spend any money. $60 for a beautifully illustrated hardcover book is perfectly reasonable I think!

Interesting that they changed the "base" classes

I'm curious given that this adventure path involves Ainamuuren and the saumen kar, if there will be an opportunity to take the Pactbound Initiate archetype from Lost Omens: Monsters of Myth? Seems very thematically appropriate.

A single 3-star review is hardly what I would call 'review bombing.'

You're right! The previous volume also had some low reviews with no comments, so I was worried it was a trend! I find that reviews with no information about why they made that assessment is really not useful

So strange these APs are getting review bombed

Yes! After reading this adventure I think that would be super cool! Hopefully there's more details on Osoyo's motivations in later books

The new cover art does really convey this AP is about cards. Too bad there's no large version yet. Which iconics are in this one?

Odd how there's cover art for this one but not the first part

Some interesting reviews on this one!

Xiomorns.

Do we have xiomorns in 2E yet? I always thought they were super cool.

Anyone know of any Pathfinder adventures that have a similar feel to the Mines of Moria section of LOTR?

Something that explores underground ruins and has a lot of history to it and mysterious reasons for being abandoned or things like that?

Thanks!

Coming back to this thread to say that I'd love for some of the hero-gods to officially come over into 2e; while it's easy enough to homebrew, Book of the Dead being imminent has me wanting to make a character devoted to Chinostes, who I adore.

2e has been really good about making real-world inspired reasons feel more distinct than just a pop culture coat of paint; the Mwangi Expanse is clearly leaning on West Africa, but so much of it is original fantasy. We've seen a pretty classic (and relatively shallow) take on Greek myth via 5e's Theros adaptation - but Iblydos isn't in a Classical setting, and has super unique neighbors to deal with.

Rules for becoming a hero-god (since we know other regions of Golarion have them) would be a blast, too. It might make for a nice angle on 2e Mythic stuff, or perhaps offer a slightly lower-powered alternative.

EDIT: Do we know where Iblydos is on this map?

I agree with all of this! Would love to see the return of the hero gods. Weren't Hero-gods also present in Arcadia?

I think Iblydos is the islands below that big desert in Casmaron

Surprised this cover hasn't been updated on the website since they were showing off that sweet art on their Facebook and Instragram.

Can you please tell me if the book will contain something useful for the players? (heritages, bloodlines, archetypes or something similar)
I like to think of the Rulebooks as 80% rules / 20% lore and the Lost Omens books as 80% lore / 20% rules. That said, players will find PACTBOUND INITIATE, a new archetype, Spear of the Destroyer’s Flame, and item, MOSQUITO WITCH (RARE WITCH PATRON), and much more. As a GM I would want to control access to the content to be honest.

OMG Mosquito witch patron??? So stoked. I ran the Mosquito Witch as my first PF 2E adventure and my players loved it so I can't wait for more lore.

Weird, I'm still seeing the old cover.

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can summarize any tidbits of AP news from Gen COn? (or maybe someone already has somewhere?).

All these people saying "I'm cancelling all my subscriptions"

I get that we don't want to support the upper leadership of Paizo but there are so many talented and amazing people working for Paizo, the writers and game designers, customer service people, artists etc.

If we cancel Paizo as a whole and stop buying their products, we also make the jobs of the good people more precarious. Not everyone is able of having a Patreon full of content we can support. Paizo as a company provides opportunities to a lot of people. I'm hoping that the company can make a big change because they have done a lot of good in the gaming industry just by being so inclusive with the products they make, if not the company environment itself.

One of the books in the Agents of Edgewatch AP has a great map and overview of Vudra. I'd love to learn about the rest of Casmaron!

After reading the Lost Omens Mwangi Expanse I am even MORE excited for this AP to start! Looking forward to that cover update too.

I'm in Vancouver, only an hourish from Redmond and I haven't been charged! I shall endure!

I think they started calling them "guardian", "scientist" etc rather than giving them actual classes in PF 2e. I've noticed that in other Lost Omens books too.

I cannot wait for this AP! Soon we will know more!

1) Mwangi Expanse! So. Much. HYPE!
2) Secrets of Magic
3) G&G: mostly for the arcadia lore
4) All the adventures! But especially Strength of Thousands and the Night of Grey Death!
5) Anything secret that has stuff about Arcadia that I don't know about

But TBH basically everything they've announced I'm excited for (except maybe the Grand Bazaar and the Absalom book, not quite sure what these entail)

First of all, I've spent the last 48 hours devouring all of Valiant and LOVING IT! Loving all the lore and the story-telling is EXCELLENT.

My questions are as follows:
1. When are you writing a full book about Arcadia? :D
2. More specifically trying to place Altameda on Arcadia--is it on the other side of Lake Titipalati (sp?) from Xopatl?
3. Loving what we've seen of Arcadia so far with Way of Kings and Borne of the Sun's Grace. Any hints about what is going on south of Xopatl? I may have missed references to countries in that area.

Thanks so much for all you do!

I cannot wait for this to come out either! July can't come soon enough! I'm curious about the price..it's more expensive than any of the other Lost Omens books, is this the new price for all books in this series or is it just for this one?

Just want to know for budgeting purposes! I'm happy to pay more for a book of such high quality.

Omg finally the Grey Gardeners!!! So excited!

Oh man these classes look amazing! Especially the inventor! I'm so pleasantly surprised! I thought it would end up being like the DND artificer but its completely unique. I can see so many cool character designs with it already!

Also with this book and the talk of Arcadian gun-mages, I can't help but hope some more Arcadia goodness is on the horizon!

Great job Paizo, as usual!

That's Age of Ashes in a nutshell.

I mean yes, but two things:

A) its not on Roll20 inexplicably lol
B) I found that the connections between the adventures in Age of Ashes to be very good individually but also the connection between them can be tenuous. Just my opinion though!

Super excited for this AP, reading over all the adventure titles again!!

I love the concept of this adventure path and love that it's set in a totally non-Euro setting.

One thing I have been feeling about PF2 Adventure Paths so far (aside from Age of Ashes) is that they are very specific in their scope ("you are a circus performer", "you are a cop", "you're a Wizard, Harry") and don't leave a lot of room for players who aren't interested in that concept. I've been trying to find an AP to run on Roll20 for 2E and my players just want a sort of straight fantasy adventure save the world AP, which I haven't seen yet.
Perhaps this one will be that in the end! Time will tell!
