Kudos to you, Kool, for taking up the mantle. Interested in submitting a fighter. Question for the Kobold Kommander: would you allow a Hellknight of the Nail aspirant (an armiger fighter)? He'd be LG, driven by the All Alone campaign trait to avenge the savagery of his lover's murder.
I cast: Thread Resurrection! Since the Children of Westcrown NPCs were designed to become followers with potential levels in player classes, I've added a potential Child of Westcrown for occult PCs to foster and utilize. Cothae (N old female Taldan female adept 1): Cothae is a strange woman who behaves like an eccentric old aunt to the others. She was drawn to the Children due to her claims of “visions” from dabbling in occult practices, a hobby she picked up in her august years as a widow. Despite her age and odd behaviors, few are as dedicated to restoring Westcrown’s life like Cothae, as she remembers the days before the city was cursed. (Potential: any occult class)
Casting Resurrection on this. Using inspiration from this thread and Ultimate Intrigue with this one. Adventure: Culling the Cult Participating NPCs: Amaya (Primary), Sclavo, Fiosa, Tarvi (Secondary) Summary: Amaya (based on her update in A Song of Silver), has discovered a cult of Zon-Kuthon operating in Regos Cader and Crua. Abusing House Thrune's alliance with Nidal and the effect the Shadow Curse has had on the common Wiscrani, Kuthite missionaries have infiltrated the shadow-fearing city and begun spreading their dark god's gospel. Amaya, disgusted by the Kuthite's doctrine, begs the PCs to help her evict the cult. Methods of dealing with the missionaries vary. Religious PCs may try outpreaching the Kuthites. Sneaky PCs might plant incriminating evidence and turn Chelish law against the cult. Martial PCs might straight up fight the cult's minions and leaders. We have options! Scaling: The cult is officially backed by Nidal and has velstrac allies and has high level cleric and inquisitor leadership. Ultimate Intrigue rules could be implemented to create a dangerous long term secondary rival group to the Children of Westcrown (or whatever the PCs name themselves and their allies).

I don't mind where you start, I'm still in the process of rereading the AP to take notes and familiarize myself with the material, so there's really no rush. I appreciate it, tho, you're a diamond.
Adding my voice to the thankful choir and asking a favor. I noticed some have grid dimensions and others don't. While I'm sure some have the talent to calculate the size on programs like VTT or Roll20 I do not. Could you either add a document or file for grid dimensions or send me those numbers? Planning on running Mummy's Mask on Roll20 and would love to save time.
I gotta give that to Nyarlathotep, herald of the Outer Gods of Pathfinder. His ancient influence in both the original Mythos and Pathfinder's lore could be subtly written beneath that ancient hymn. (Milani is pretty weaksauce, ain't she?) Now, 'tis the season, so how about I take a turn at a lyricless song and place Carol of the Bells for consideration?
Necromancing the Thread, boiz I'm going to give "The Conflux" to Abadar, god of civilization. For the new song, let's roll with Within Tempation's Raise Your Banner
I own the Path of the Hellknight campaign setting book and the smallest of the major Orders - the Hellknights of the Gate - number in the few hundreds See page 16 of that document. If that is the case, the more popular orders - the Scourge and the Rack - must be in the several hundreds. I doubt members ever get too close to the thousands, so consider that, I guess.
I'll take the second set, I suppose. Curious, what is your ruling on alignments? I've got a few ideas:
These are the ones I'd like to try, in that order. Let me know 'bout the alignments.
Let's roll first, then I'll offer up Cthulhu Cthow ... Set Uno
Set Duo
Thought I'd try and bump this thread. 25. A changeling bard. She grew up hearing her mother's voice, calling her into shadows. She uses these "songs" as inspiration for her own pieces. Her songs are haunting, but beautiful. 26. A female kitsune vigilante who uses her fox form as her "hero" and her humanoid form as her secret identity. Calls herself the Black Fox. 27. A male half-drow alchemist who uses his mutagens to twist his "abnormal" moral-centered self into an evil brute to make his family pleased with him. Very much a Jekyll and Hyde character. 28. A blackblade magus with a terbutje for his/her weapon.
Hello again. Again, you have presented a great (literally and figuratively) new backstory. The parallels between ol' Danny and your character are clear but not overwhelming. I like to think myself a specialist cough cough of Cheliax and I had not heard of the Lost Princess history. Good job. Love that your characters are real. You give us a TL;DR post, but I love that. I can believe these characters could have their own novels. Looking forward to updates!
It would be interesting to have unseelie or the Court of Ether set up shop during the night hours. The shadows could either ignore or avoid these elder forces, and as the PCs level up and prepare to break the curse these dark fey could either aid or hinder (depending on their loyalties to the Mother) the players. Just a thought.
Shapeshifts into the mirror. "Oh, my Queen." I whsiper to her. "Don't you look just lovely today. You deserve to take the day off to pamper and spoil yourself." Due to the Queen's absence from the court, various nobles form factions and tear the nation of Sheba apart in their greed. Around the Queen's reflection I reveal the civil wars and anarchy just within her peripheral vision. If only she weren't so invested in her vanity she might notice. |
