![]() Sorry for my lack of posting the last couple of days. I'm in central Ohio, so dealing with stuff with the winter storm and such. All is well though! The encounter is very confusing to follow without a tactical map. The one that you posted doesn't really help much because it doesn't indicate where everyone is. Can we augment that by putting maps on a Google slide with tokens that we can move around? I really have no idea where I am in relation to the guy with the big crossbow and the other members of the party. ![]()

![]() After getting a fresh change of clothes, Eion makes his way to the site of the old Pathfinder Society lodge. He is careful to keep his wayfinder hidden away from eyes under his cloak. He finds Delvehaven and walks slowly by...trying not to be obvious that he came here to gaze upon the building. He offers a sidelong glance at the building wondering where his brother could be. Could this be his tomb?, he wonders... Just as this thought crosses his mind he looks down and sees a spider crawling towards him. Angrily he crushes it underfoot. A shiver runs through him as he hurries off... ![]()

Thanks! I updated my profile. Here is a link to a players notes file that I created. Feel free to add what you see fit. Right now anyone can edit. If you all message me your emails, then I can add everyone and remove the global access. I already added you, Mike. ![]()

Sounds good. I'll take a look at the player's guide for hook ideas and put together a character. ![]()

![]() Crap! I thought vermin repellent was a splash weapon, but I just read the description again and you rub it on your body. Ganem moves away from the spider. He is about to heave the repellent at the swarm when the fine print on the bottle catches his eye: Instructions: Rub the paste on your exposed skin to repel vermin. Guaranteed to work against swarms of insects and/or arachnids or your money back! Warning: Do not use this product as a thrown weapon. Any use such as this voids the money back guarantee! "Hmmm...change of plans!", he says as he pulls out a flask of alchemist's fire from his pack. ![]()
![]() I really don't like goblins included as a core race. The second edition of Pathfinder is really about smoothing out some of the mechanics of the game while keeping the underlying feel of the game. Goblins are just evil creatures...playing them as PCs feels more like a niche thing (like We Be Goblins) and not a part of the core rules. If I'm playing PFS, then having a goblin in the same party just doesn't seem like a normal thing. I mean, for the past 10 years goblins have not been part of adventuring parties and now we are just going to discover that there are "good" goblins?? I just don't like it. You should consider moving this to a later release. "Goblins of Golarion" or something like that. Give groups the option of playing goblins, but don't make a part of the core rules. ![]()
![]() I picked the cleric. I think Paizo did a really good job with the oracle. The ability to pick and choose class features is one thing I like about my favorite Paizo classes. Alchemist, Oracle, Magus, etc. With the cleric, you can pick from a handful of domains, but that's about it. Many of them really don't give you anything interesting...especially if the domain spells are already on the clerics list, so the domain spell is just another spell slot. ![]()

![]() Assuming we are leveling up, I'm sticking with witch. After that last encounter I'm taking Dispel Magic as one of my spells. I have a few candidates for the second: Stinking Cloud
What do you all think? (I'm taking Flight as my hex) ![]()

Perfect! That certainly makes things easier. ![]()
![]() Thanks all. Most of them have actually played rpg's. About half have played Pathfinder and the other half DnD (4th and 5th ed). I'd like them to be around 5th level. Enough to have some fancy abilities to play around with. The Four Dollar Dungeons look very cool. I'll check out the other suggestions too. ![]()

![]() Fergie wrote: At some point in the past, I recall learning that '...' isn't three periods, but rather it's own symbol. Anyone know the keyboard short cut for that? (Or am I mistaken about the symbol thing?) You are correct about it being its own symbol. Three periods can be called an ellipsis. The keyboard shortcut for MS Office is ctl + alt + . ![]()
![]() I'm just getting back into this after many years. I don't think the version I last played had cantrips and I usually played fighters anyway :) The cantrips seem very useful and I've read several threads on this site and others about them. Mage Hand seems to be very popular. Do you have to see the object in order to use Mage Hand on it. Suppose I KNOW that there is something inside a box...can I use Mage Hand to move it? Even better....I KNOW that an orc has a set of family jewels. Can I use Mage Hand to move them to an uncomfortable position? |
