I am going to use Ally Shield! Johann and I both took this teamwork feat forever ago but haven't used it yet:

Ally Shield (Betrayal, Teamwork)
Source Champions of Corruption pg. 20
You are willing to use your allies as shields to ward off attacks aimed at you.
Benefit: Whenever you are the target of a melee or ranged attack and are adjacent to an ally who also has this feat, you can initiate this feat to skillfully pull the abettor into harm’s way or dodge behind the abettor as an immediate action. You gain cover against that attack (and only that attack). If the attack misses you but would have hit you if not for the cover bonus to your Armor Class, the abettor becomes the target of the attack and the attacker must make a new attack roll (with all the same modifiers) against the abettor’s Armor Class.
The cover bonus raises my AC to 34, making the attack a miss. Since it would have hit me without the cover bonus, Johann is now the target of the attack, but it needs to be rolled new.

The Fox skillfully dodges the young blue wyrm's lightning breath, and ducks behind Johann, as well, when a boulder is coming his way!

With the kelpie in flooded chamber 2:
Goldslip huffs when the kelpie says she'd be happy with a nixie or naiad for a snack. "Well, listen--I don't mind bringing you some fish if it would help you feel better, because I'd like to be friends. But I have other friends here in Last Hill, and if you ever try to eat anyone we don't approve of being eaten, it won't just be my friendship you're losing. Snowball would freeze you and gnaw on you, Cindy would haunt your dreams, Sendi would run you through with her blade, Bob would crush you or dissolve you, and who knows what Piedmontina would come up with to deal with you. So...be nice, okay?"
- - - - - - - - - -
On her way out of Last Hill when we're leaving for the naiad community:
Goldslip was walking past one of the goblin junk piles when she noticed a slight gleam from something buried in it. Carefully she removes several pieces of junk to work her way down to it, and she uncovers a violin that somehow still has something of a finish on its beautiful wood, despite its surroundings. And nearby is a bow to go with it. Goldslip picks up both, and as she sets the bow to string and sounds her first note, she changes. Her arms thicken a little, her hips become a bit narrower while her shoulders become a bit broader. Goldslip's skin lightens from its green to more of a pale blue, and as Goldslip's hair changes to white, a white beard also grows suddenly from his chin. Goldslip looks down at his body in surprise and murmurs, "This is strange," in a voice several pitches lower than it had been before.

Goldslip steps up to the still-paralyzed barbarian next to Gorthug's remains. He doesn't have a good view of her face in the darkness, but the look in her eyes is darker than that surrounding blackness, a look of vengeance and murder.
The strange nixie reloads her crossbow as she stares at the man, but she also spares a moment to kindle a link to Snowball.
5ft step, move action to reload, standard action to initiate life link. Next round: coup de grace with the crossbow. Straight 2d6 won't be very impressive damage, but anyway...

I've always had the sense that situations tend to involve enemies up close and personal more often than not, so typically your 30 feet of vision is fine.
It also improves to 60 feet at some point, I think. But my curse progression will be very slow since oracle levels are always going to be less than half of my build with our focus on monster templates.
So far, I'm okay with it. This is the first time in this game that Goldslip's vision has proved to be seriously limiting.
RP/story wise, I also find it very interesting. Even when the oracle's range of vision has grown considerably, she still never gets to see the sky, or a view of a far off mountain range. Now that's what I call a curse!

Keante just put together a nice list of what races and classes have been submitted, and what haven't been. It is a great place to go if someone is still considering how they could make something different than the other submissions. It is in the linked spreadsheet.
About this, I realized that my lists of races and classes were not very well updated because I was going off of the spreadsheet for people's race/class selections and a lot weren't filled in.
Now I have spent some time going through the thread and I have a lot more updated in the rows of that first page on the spreadsheet, and then the race/class lists on the second page updated accordingly.
Anyway, if you're working on a character for this, it will help everyone's planning if you can check on that spreadsheet and make sure your row looks correct. They're in alphabetical order by player name (not character/alias name). If there isn't a row with your name on it, then go ahead and add one.

Bahaha I can see this as a movie scene, now--the camera is looking straight down a wide hallway with no one in it. At the far end, on the left side, you see a door open and the Fox dashes out and starts running down the hallway toward the camera. A couple seconds later, this huge spider woman crashes through the same doorway, skidding across the floor and then bouncing a little off of the wall on the right before beginning to run toward the camera, herself, in pursuit of the Fox...

I'm always on the lookout for games that welcome use of Spheres material, and I decided it's probably time I offer to lead such a game myself.
At least in this one aspect, I am very narrowly focused: I want this to be a Spheres game. That means everyone would be playing a class published in Spheres of Power, Spheres of Might, or Champions of the Spheres (all of which can be seen on that wiki I linked above). The only exceptions would be if you are playing one of Paizo's classes with an archetype which is published in one of the Spheres books. This means that the standard style of magic will not exist in the game.
Another thing to note: I do pretty much all of my posting on mobile, so I am not interested in dealing with maps. We can run without them.
As for the many other aspects of the game, I want to put them up for discussion. I own Rise of the Runelords, so we could run that AP (I would probably be pretty fast and loose with the plot, though; and of course a lot of things would feel different because of the Spheres classes). I'm also open to creating more of a sandbox game, though I would expect your help with overall planning of the game in that case. We're probably going to stick to Golarion as a setting because I'm familiar with it, but I might be persuaded otherwise if people have strong feelings about doing something different.
At this stage (interest check), things really are wide open. Talk to me about what you'd like to see.
If people like to lay out character builds, why not do the same with computers?
I was working on a scholarly Starfinder character and after looking at the library chips from Pact Worlds, I envisioned her with a computer worn on her arm with a nice little keyboard and enough slots to hold all 5 library chips at once (I don't picture a comm unit as having slots for more than one or two, or having much of a keyboard).
Then I thought that perhaps people have built computers within the rules already, such that I could grab a layout someone else has already worked out.
I'm mainly looking for a summary of the computer's tier, what modules you added, plus any other additions you wanted to fit into it, and a description of the computer. I'm hoping we'll end up with a quite a few shared in here for everyone's benefit.

Gwenallt, son of Baldric, is a member of House Medvyed, but only distantly related to the ruling Lord Gurev Medvyed. Gwenallt's family lives in a hamlet which grew up around a shrine to Ol' Deadeye (that is, Erastil) on the southern edge of Gronzi Forest and just north of Awzera River. The next closest major landmark is the infamous Valley of Fire to the east. The little village is significantly closer to New Stetven than to Stoneclimb, especially if you would skirt around the Forest to the east where it approaches the Icerime Peaks rather than traveling straight through. And few indeed would brave so long a trip through the heart of the Forest.
In spite of the distance, Gwenallt's family makes a journey to Stoneclimb for a great festival every year. "We must maintain our family ties," Gwenallt's father would always say. "Without family, men are reduced to barbarism, quickly losing all sense of honor and nobility." Gwenallt loved getting to spend a week or two every year in the presence of so much extended family. Even if it did highlight the disparity of wealth and prestige between his family and the ruling family, it always caused Gwenallt's heart to swell with pride.

So we have a kalashtar who was born to nobility, the second born among 3 children total. Despite being a noble family (and having the special title Warden of the Mountains), they were poor. This character was a legitimate child of this noble family, but by some weird circumstances was born in a brothel, specifically noted also to be the home of non-humans. Probably for reasons related to these same bizarre circumstances, the noble family did not keep this child, and left him to fend for himself, and so he grew up destitute. The child was taken in and raised by a couple, one a baker and one a farmer.
When the child was 9 years old, he was taken on by a sheriff who needed all the friends he could get. The sheriff grew to love the child as his own, and after some time, he introduced the character to his ward, a girl close to the character's age. The character fell in love with this girl as they continued to grow up together, and at some point they get married.
At some point a common soldier perceives an insult from the sheriff (the character's patron) and a deadly hostile rivalry results. At one point this soldier threatens the character's life.
At age 17 some kind of kalashtar-specific event occurs (the book has tables to roll on here for elves, dwarves, etc. but doesn't account for Eberron races, so we'll have to come up with something).
At age 18 the character runs from home to a faraway land. At this point the character is still a child (not even an adolescent) by kalashtar reckoning...I'm not sure how to reconcile this yet with the whole bit about marrying the sheriff's ward.
At age 29, rivals force the character and his wife to move to a new locale.
At age 40 (just reached adulthood, and presumably immediately before this game begins), a deadly disease wipes out the town the character is living in, but he and his wife are among the few survivors.
The character is suspicious, humorous, even-tempered, and possessed of leadership qualities. He's neither good-aligned, nor evil. I'm going to say his alignment is Lawful Neutral. Oh! Almost forgot that he knows how to play some musical instrument...
I'm going to stop here--if you do set up a recruitment, I can try to finish fleshing all this out.
"to all targets." -> it's not a bonus to a single attack
So a single attack can have multiple targets--I don't see how that's relevant. It says "you can make a single ranged attack that deals additional damage," therefore it is a single attack.
