Would any (preferably all) of you be interested in joining a game with me as GM? (This includes you, GM Bigrin.)
It'd use 1E rules, but it's set on a homebrew world, with homebrew species instead of the standards.
The basic premise is that you'd be members of the Adventurers' Guild who've been ordered out to the sticks, to do a simple job that any newbie can do: a local landlord has put out the order to destroy a Goblin nest.
... And then things get weird.
The tone would be a blend of lighthearted and grim, and your own decisions would determine which way the balance swings.

Remember there were two splatted corpses in the antechamber? Maybe the succubus is here and pulled a switcheroo with the genie in hopes of getting her revenge at us, only for the drow to show up!

At this point, I feel it incumbent on me to point out that as constructs, homunculi are immune to both daze and paralysis. So… what can Duchess and Magpie do to help?

Unless those Elves get their s*@* together and somehow break the daze-effect or at least spot us until it wears off... this one is gonna hurt.

As soon as Anklebiter sleeps, Duchess comes flapping up to the first person to stand watch and lands on their shoulder.

In contrast, Duchess starts to flutter around, full of curiosity and enthusiasm.
"We're sleeping like royalty!" she chimes. "Moving up in the world, our excellence is being recognized! Not before time, but this is nice, very nice! Don't you agree, gargantuan friend Lefrik Olegson?"
Duchess flies over to Lefrik as she asks the question -- and she is still in a state of deshabille, as it were.

Duchess flits down and lands on her master's shoulder -- then mimics his gesture of crossing her arms. With respect to size being relative, it's still a fairly impressive gesture, given that no one has bothered to clothe her since her 'rebirth'.

By the way, I figured out a reason why the Elves might hate constructs; they were at odds with Thassilon, and those guys crafted all kinds of messed-up things. A few centuries of having their front lines hammered by golems would sour anyone's disposition towards even the least threatening of constructs....
