Looks like Vidmaster thinks cheese is grate.

Look at me! I'm nekkid!! Woo-Hoo!!!

I wish I could say that was a gouda pun but alas...

Why you gotta brie like that?

I guess I'm just feeling bleu.

That's unfortunate. You should be feeling mozzer-hella good.

That one was pretty shaky Gran.

As opposed to all the rest of my puns, which are rock solid?

They were better then "mozzer-hella"

I curd try to do better in the future.

I don't want to go out on a Limburger, but I may be able to make you proud of me again.

There ya go. That's a lot feta

When I wake up, I like to look in the mirror and say "Halloumi".

In the afternoon, the English like to Havarti.

I wanted to have a fancy party, so I threw a Feta.

What did the lookout say when he saw a large wheel of cheese floating ahead of the boat? "Jarlsberg! Dead ahead!!"

When asked how I sculpted a horse out of cheese, I replied that I did it caerphilly.

I think Vidmaster gave up because I proved myself to be the Cheez Whiz.

He went off shift. Also kneading of the dough proved to be easier then I expected. Maybe I shouldn't eschew recipes which require kneading even though I don't have a stand mixer and have to do everything by paw.

Kneading by hand is the only way to knead.

The Exchange

You're sure a believer of hard work builds character, Capt =P

But the reason why I didn't want to knead at first was because I was unsure if I have the stamina to knead the dough as it deserves, and I wouldn't be able to finish the entire process.

I'm a firm believer of finishing what I start.

As someone who has seen Captain Yesterday's handiwork, I can say yes, hard work does build character.

However, after talking to Vany about his first jobs, I remain concerned about people with that kind of mindset being exploited. That said, I am sure Captain Yesterday can sense a bad deal and walk away.

Also I'm a fan of "work smart, not hard" being a smaller guy I'm not muscling 600 pound steps into place myself.

But, give me a mini bobcat, pry bar, and a couple of chains...

Building a character shouldn't be hard work. Choose a race, pick a class, assign some stats, place skills, grab a feat, purchase some gear. Easy as cake. Piece of pie. Bobbie's your aunt.

Well, first you're going to want to whittle your own pencil, then you gotta carve your dice out of stone, and then there's stripping the bark off the birch trees in the front yard so you can make the paper.

There isn't?

Hands gran the wood, chisel, and the bark stripping thingy.

Don't forget I'll need 6 extra pages for back story.

Wahoo! We have a house!

Just to rent for the time being; we can't proceed with buying until Whingey Wizzard is working, but at least our rental application has been approved, and we're going to overnight them our deposit first thing tomorrow. (Why they won't accept wire transfer is beyond me.)

My new commute will be LESS THAN TEN MINUTES, entirely on residential streets. It's three miles from the new school.

Oh, and I discovered there's a Jamaican restaurant less than five miles away that makes curry goat and festival (corn fritters).

And it's 12.5 miles away from the Polish deli where they sell the good sausage and make paczki on weekends.

Things are looking up!

Any commute under 6 miles is better by bicycle.

Especially in hot weather.

(In Davis it was 4 miles in, and once the weather was over 105 degrees I absolutely refused to get in a car because they were just too stupid hot, and wouldn't have enough time to cool down during the drive.)

It is f*&$ing hot and humid today, guess I should have gone to the store before the General went down to New Glarus to visit her parents.

Now I'm left with walking to Glass Nickel.

Local con seems to be going well, if not smoothly. We were getting 2-3 tables a slot yesterday, helped by walk-ins given we were literally in the central mustering room for the entire event. Thankfully, once muster was over we were mostly left to our own devices. (Other than my VL getting questions about the con itself instead of just PFS.)

No way in hell am I biking in Arizona.

Also, my commute is like 20 miles, so I am glad to have the new car, despite the additional debt.

Oh I don't expect the laws to actually change. Hence why I just grumble about it here. I don't like it, but I'm aware enough that there's jack squat as hell I can do about it.

Won't stop me from cursing the allowance of non-motorized bikes on public roads every time one of the damn things slows traffic to a crawl, though, either.
