That reminds me of that horror film from a few years back. Terrifying.

Ireland. Always wanted to go there. Maybe I'll find the rest of my family on my mother's side.

Do it!

but use the opportunity to come and vist Hessia as well !!

Pretty much all the above. I'm really only here for FAWTL and the AP forums, I've been spending a lot less time elsewhere as of late. I guess I'm a bit biased, because I've never spent time on a fan forum for anything except Paizo, and the other forums I've always been on have had very strict limitations about politics, religion, and other such contentious subjects - they simply were not allowed, so the vitriolic arguments they inevitably spawn never happened. So Paizo looks a lot MORE hostile to me compared to every other forum I've spent much time on.

I do need to spend time this weekend catching up on PBPs though. I'm way out of the loop on those.

So I finally started watching Game of Thrones. Now I know what everyone has been talking about.

I'm losing my mind.

Always loved OWOD. Hunter and Werewolf are my favorites. Without werewolf I wouldn't be on this site probably.
OWoD was best WoD. The current game is more a custom jobby, based loosely on the setting and mechanics, but we've played plenty of the original too. Two Hunter games, both shortish, brief dalliance with the Camarilla (Vampire LARP, deeply regretted), and a two year campaign of Orpheus, one of the best games I've ever played. The House of the Rising Sun has never been the same since. I've always wanted to try Werewolf too though, they seemed fun.

Cooooooooooooooooooooooool.

Yeah, I'm partial to OWOD, and I have to bite my tongue when the gamists come out with their criticisms of the system. "More dice equals greater chance of failure!!!!!! BOOOOOOO!!!!" Idiots.

That claim shows failure of math. Or just being one those types that can't roll above 3 on d10 to save their lives.

Still, my Mage managed to fail two or three difficulty 6 Willpower rolls (9 or 10 dice) in a row. When astral projecting through wolf dream domain which forced us into wolf-shaped astral forms. With those failures I started to lose myself in being a wolf.

I want Demon: The Descent. *sigh* It costs a bit. I am still not ready for such expenditure and I don't know if I will be able to assemble a proper crew to play it.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm a bit low on cash myself. Damn NYS taxes.

Good evening FAWTLY FOLK! I am tired. So very tired. Been on the go, non stop, since 0500. But I got lots done. So now I'm drinking beer, relaxing a bit in preparation for tomorrow's big move.

The truck I got is way too big, but I'd rather it be too big than too small.

Whoa. I'm speechless for an instant.

No matter how many times I've seen it, I still can't understand how Bob Ross did it. It looks like:
1. Approach canvas.
2. 3 swipes of the brush.
3. Finished painting.

He must have been magic.

Have you considered going outside, looking, and screaming?

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! Happy Big Move Part 2 Day!!!

It's going to be a very busy day, followed by no internet or TV in the new house until Monday. See y'all on the flip side.

Glad to hear things are going well. Until Monday, then.

Master of Magic is on sale! I love you GOG and cast blessing of life on you, even if my wallet hates you and prepares to cast meteor strike... (yes, my wallet picked chaos and death as its primary forms of magic, why do you ask?)

Silver Crusade

Ah yes, today we start a brand new campaign.

Silver Crusade

It is being billed as a mix of Game of thrones and black sails.

Off for a walk. Internet needs rationing for the next 18 days anyway.

I am sitting in library now, after I borrowed a comic book graphic novel / memoirs of a girl living through the final years of People's Republic of Poland. The protagonist is one year older than me. Damn, finding such comic book in English accidentally just by looking on a shelf where comics change from week to week...

I also got Coraline and in the background I download one of my games from GOG.

HAPPY GAMEDAY MAN!!!!

So made a trip to Edmonton and back at the beginning of the week for my UK visa application. Got up there to get my biometrics done and the employees are all contractors who know nothing and answered no questions. So I am given this checklist of like a dozen things and only half of which I was asked to bring for the application. So I was panicked plus I had to pay $2000 for the damn thing. Since these contractors have no idea what the visa requirements are I get no info and left all panicked that I didn't bring the right paperwork. I get home to see the checklist they gave me was for ALL settlement visas for the UK. So now I still have my doubts as to wether I will be fine. But apparently I can appeal the decision and even enter the UK while it is appealed. My God this process sucks so much. And I may have to make an impromptu trip to Ireland if things go weirdly.

Good Morning FAWTL!

A lazy Sunday start. I haven't been spending a lot of time here, so I figured I should drop by to say hello. After a long a brutal winter the weather finally has turned from cold to warm. I must prepare to chasten the rebellious blackberry thicket. It has overrun lands not enfeoffed to it, and that cannot be countenanced.

Have you seen the rules forum?

XD Why yes, I have. In fact, it's why I came in the first place, and my enjoyment of the rules forum prompted me to join, which eventually led me to all the other wonderful topics and threads. I had some enjoyable, polite, thought provoking rules discussions, while I was still playing a campaign and staying up to date. Then again, I am one of my group's resident rules lawyers, so I felt right at home. :P
