AHA! At long last Immortality is within my grasp! I always knew I would never die! I just need to find some way to get my hands on that delicious golden elixir. I wonder if I could blame it on bandits...
With the Sky Key, you could steal it multiple times, even!

You wouldn't dare to just guzzle without thinking would you!? That's one of the most precious fluids in the multiverse, it must be studied, analyzed... reverse engineered...

Compared to the taste of Caiden Calien ale and see which is better?

I considered that my friend, I truly did.
Unfortunately some stick-in-the-mud told me that doing so would cause something called a "time pair of ducks." I don't know how immortality elixirs and star metal artifacts are related to waterfowl, but she seemed annoyed when I asked.Zach Davis |
Awesome! (also called it!)
So you mention playing both arcs on the same character but Eyes leaves you at 13.2. Is there a way to transition from Eyes into high tier without having to play a module between them or is that just something that must be done?
You could do it with Race for the Runecarved Key or Siege of the Diamond City.

Wonder if we'll enter a)Abaddon b) Citadel of the Alchemist c) House of Oblivion.
Personally, I'd prefer b) since chances are the opposition needs to target touch AC and harbor hardness to get anything done against the kind of ultra-tuned seeker-ICBM's that're going to come rushing out of the Seeker woodwork.
Okay, that sentence confuses even me. tl;dr I'm thinking about just running a 33 exp Seeker. Level 15 characters have escaped all checks placed on PC's.

Soooo.... does this mean I don't have to stress about getting my exp *right on the button* to *not go over* and *not be short*?
Remember that when EotT was conceived, written, and released, there was no way of getting above 33 XP. There weren't sanctioned modules or adventure paths. You simply played 33 scenarios at 1 XP per adventure and then had one capstone Tier 12 series to play. The confusion and annoyance came later as a result of the campaign growing in offerings without releasing new OP-exclusive high-level content.
