That Warm Glow of Terrors from Beyond Space and Time—New Pathfinder Products Announced!

Friday, March 10, 2016

Our March 2016 releases are ready to go on an adventure to your game table, and we'll be doing some damage to our sanity this fall—check out our round up of all our new and announced products!

It's been a pretty crazy month around here at Paizo—from the release of the Hell's Vengeance Adventure Path last month (not to mention the free Player's Guide), to the wildly successful Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Humble Bundle, not to mention polishing up our fall releases, preparing for convention season, starting our Twitch channel, we've all been running around getting our dire ducks in a row for the upcoming year!

Apsu and Dahak are just a couple of the gods you will learn more about in Inner Sea Faiths!

We're All Mad Here

One of my favorite things is announcing new products, and we added the Strange Aeons Adventure Path to our August lineup, a truly maddening set of adventures! Lovecraftian creatures are not new to the world of Golarion—they've been there since the beginning, thanks to Creative Director James Jacobs' love of the genre, but we haven't quite done an entire adventure path around them. The wait is over, starting with "In Search of Sanity," penned by our own Editor-in-Chief F. Wesley Schneider, wherein you start off at a wee bit of a disadvantage—in an insane asylum. But that's not all that lies ahead! Check out other new stuff heading your way!

Don't forget—PaizoCon is coming May 27th through 30th! Check out all of the details, and don't miss grabbing your tickets!

July 2016

August 2016

That's all we've got in our sleeves for now, but stay tuned for next month's releases, including part three of Hell's Vengeance, "The Inferno Gate" and Heaven Unleashed!

Looking forward to Strange Aeons: not feeling the evil AP at all.

Wait, y'all managed to make Apsu a platinum dragon after all? Am I understanding that picture right?

Am I the only one salty that Apsu and Dahak look a bit generic? Dahak could literally be any red dragon.

So wait, is there a mistake or did you guys decide to make Apsu seperate from Nirvana dragon after all?

Well, I wouldn't really mind that since Nirvana Dragon as Apsu doesn't feel that cool to me <_< Even though it does look like both chormatic and Tian Xia's dragon could be descended from it. Mainly because it looks like its just big green dragon with eastern dragon's head.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Oh, nevermind. Forgot that Pathfinder silver dragons look different from D&D silver dragons - was looking for the crest, and Pathfinder silvers don't have that.

The Apsu picture is "just" an elder silver dragon, while the Dahak picture is probably just a red dragon.

The first picture reminds me of someone from the OLD Dungeon Mag days. A daughter of Baba Yaga, maybe!

WizKids has announced a new set of plastic models for Paizo’s Pathfinder Battles line. Deadly Foes is scheduled to release in October.
There will be 52 figures in the Deadly Foes set, featuring heroes and monsters from the world of Golarion. They will be packaged in booster packs with four figures each, including one large and three small or medium figures. MSRP is $15.99 per booster. Boosters will be packaged in bricks of eight.
WizKids is also offering a Deadly Foes Case Incentive for customers who pre-order. Each Case Incentive includes two oversized models: a Clockwork Dragon and a Spawn of Cthulhu. This will be the first time that “huge” size models have been offered for Pathfinder Battles since 2012.

I have no problem with this picture. I do wonder though if Paizo would ever do a picture that featured that in reverse, a man sitting on the throne chair with his feet propped up on a woman? (Because there are also some gals into that kind of thing).

So much AP bestiaries without mythological monsters ahead... It kinda hurts.

Is Class Deck: Goblins Fight! also scheduled for July 2016?

Heh, just noticed that PFS Scenario 7-20 has been left off the list. At this point, I've got to assume it's a surprise now, but what could the surprise be?
