And how long have people at Paizo been waiting to use all those puns/riffs on Game of Thrones for the Reign of Winter AP? :)

Since my first day on the job, much to the groans of (some) of my co-workers. But I couldn't resist it, just once or twice. :)

You didn't happen to have any influence on the title of book 3, did you? :P

Good thing there is no celery in there to affect the force of gravity.

Loving this adventure path.

Wait, do you have wallpapers for your other APs as well?

I'll carry the comments- I love the riff off of the Song of Ice 'n Fire.

Some, at least. Click the "wallpaper" tag between the text of the blog post and the comments.

When will you be announcing the Title/Author of Part 6?

We've announced that the title will be The Witch Queen's Revenge back when we announced the Reign of Winter Adventure Path. The author will be announced as soon as we put up the product page, which should be soon.

I don't see how you could resist.

George makes puns about his book titles too.

When do we get the Player's Guide? I've already recruited my players, not we just need to figure out what they'll be playing!

Really excited for this; it actually got me to subscribe to the Adventure Paths (which I'll probably stick with for the Demon Crusade, since that one also sounds really good to me).

The Player's Guide will be out around the same time as the first volume of the Adventure Path, if not sooner.

Silver Crusade

That image has me really excited about the prospect of fighting something that has a map. :)

I really want to DM'ing Reign of Winter, but I'm still more interested on playing it with a Winter Witch.
One of my players might be interested on being the DM, but after having problems with Skulls and Shackles, it depends on two things who will be the DM:
- Will there be new rules there like the naval rules in S&S?
- Will the adventure be more or less lineal or more sandbox?

Shattered Star was not my cup of tea, but at last the winter is here. ^^

Thanks, missed the title on the earlier announcement and I check the product page regularly.

This one looks like it will be really fun.

I find it funny when I see a character from our (or maybe from Slavic in general) folklore appearing in an RPG. :)

Wallpapers, after so long? You still love us! ;-)

Does the author of part 6 get to read the previous 5 before starting to write part 6?

Normally not, no. From what JJ has said in the past, it takes about 3 months to write the adventure, plus about a month of development.

They do have access to the outline, which is often very detailed

And presumably, nothing stops the authors of the various parts from keeping in touch with each other (and the developer of the AP) during the writing period.
