Let's discuss out-of-character stuff here.

GM Frost |

Hello, everyone! Thank you for joining this game. I posted the links to the Sign-Up Sheet, Macros, and Slides above for you to fill out before the start of the game.
1. Sign up on the Sign-Up Sheet (linked above) and provide Player Name, Character Name, Organized Play Number, Character Number, etc. We'll use the RPG Chronicles website for this.
2. Fill in your character and minion tokens, and marching order on page 2 of Slides and Maps (linked above). Also, update your character’s basic information, core stats, and skill modifiers on Macros (linked above).
3. Ensure your character's stat block/header includes HP, AC, Saving Throws (Fortitude, Reflex, Will), Perception bonus, and Speed.
4. Area templates (burst, cone, emanation, line) are on pages 3-7 of the Slides and can be copied to the Encounter Map.
5. Post regularly, preferably at least once daily and once on weekends. Follow the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards: "Explore, Report, Cooperate." Non-consensual character conflict is prohibited and can result in Infamy points.
6. I will roll initiative checks and use a block initiative system. PCs in the active block can post their actions, resolved in posting order. I will roll secret checks; players roll saving throws.
7. Use these symbols in combat posts: ◆ for single action, ◆◆ for two actions, ◆◆◆ for three actions, ↺ for reaction, ◇ for free action.
8. We’ll use the X-Card for safety. If something makes you uncomfortable, include '[X-Card]' in your post or message me privately.
9. Regular posting keeps the game flowing. Kindly inform us of any absences. Provide botting instructions if you'll be away.
10. Remember, the goal is to have fun! :)
Thank you, and let's embark on this exciting adventure!

I filled out what I could. The spreadsheet wouldn't let me enter Technomancer due to the validations, which makes sense, so I just left the class field blank.

GM Frost |

Thanks for letting me know. It is now fixed.

That's a good way to get a feel for it ... and to figure out which parts of the Envoy pregen build look good on paper, but don't play all that great and you don't want on your actual character.

GM Frost |

Just wanna check I have the right players from the Event Listing:
UncleFroggy (TBD 1)
cmlobue (pregen based on party need 1)
Halgur (TBD)
Redelia (Gabitha 1)
azjauthor (Klicknop, Technomancer 1)

GM Frost |

I just reached out to Luna, UncleFroggy might have forgotten about the game.

This mechanic really does not seem right. In all other similar situations, we would know what the task is before choosing the PCs to complete it. Some scenarios would tell us what the task is, but leave out the specific skills; others would even tell us what the skills are before we choose. Could you please check that that is not what the scenario specifies?

GM Frost |

-----
Tasks: Once arriving at each destination and learning about their task, the team must choose two PCs to complete the task. They must make this choice before learning what skills will be involved, and cannot change participants once the choice is made. Non-participants may loan the participating PCs equipment but may not otherwise assist in any way. [emphasis mine]
-----
I agree, it can feel punishing to players, since it risks sidelining characters who would otherwise have been the best fit for the challenge.
Players' best guess about the task is from the clue of the location being a restaurant and information about 'psychic chefs who deliver what the guests
didn’t even know they wanted'.

Halgur's SFS2 Pregen |

"Klick, Gabby. Luna says that someone is in trouble up there. Help me find a flying car or something. Maybe we can hijack it and get up there to help."
Navasi looks around for some sort of flying transport that she can commandeer or even hotwire.
For the record I don't think we can intervene from down below in time to help. I just feel that Navasi would make the effort. Plus I like the idea of her hotwiring a transport to do it.

GM: Are is our travel between tasks giving us the ability to rest for 10 minutes, for things like Treat Wounds, Refocus, or recovering from the cell stimulant spell?

GM Frost |

Each task represents approximately ten minutes of time, so non-participating PCs can perform those activities that you mentioned, but I don't think the same can be done while traveling to another location.
