Starfinder spells are not my area of expertise. But I really like some of the spells listed in your profile, specifically:
Grease, Holographic Interface, Incompetence, and Transfer Charge.
Looking through the Technomancer spell list, if I were playing one, I’d think about taking a couple of these spells.
0 Level: Misfire, Psychokinetic Hand
1st Level: Fluid Morphism, Jolting Surge, Magic Missile or Magic Arrow or Shrapnel Shot, Supercharge Weapon
Vaëlorin
I'm not asking so much what spells I should take to have in my head. I'm asking what extra utility spells would the group like me to be able to use occasionally?
I won't be doing Magic Missile and the other direct damage spells, as I'm not trying to build a blaster here.
Burlap 'LongTail'
It's your build, go where you like. My perspective is having a single blast spell doesn't make you a blast-caster. And not having even a modest blast spell is a weak spot. *shrug* YMMV
Vaëlorin
Having a good attack spell is a must. I had a Technomancer and not having a good blasting spell did put me in a bind.
Having a good attack spell is not the same as having a blasting spell

Ok, I have Vaëlorin finished in Hephaistos, I'll get him moved over into this profile either today, or tomorrow. Holiday today, and weekends in general are filled with family stuff for me.

Is Aleerin a language, and am I allowed to take it? Or whatever the enemy speaks.
Cyleerin. It would be a machine language. Since you're a technomancer, I'll allow you to take it, but you'll have to make occasional Int checks to understand or express anything beyond simple ideas.

RE: Languages… I dunno. How about some of the ‘monstrous’ languages we may run into in the fleet… Space Goblin or things like that? If this is anything like Battlestar Galactica, there are going to be quite a few unsavory types in the fleet in addition to all the upright citizens.
Based on how the character builds are progressing, ‘Mystical’ on the Particle Gun provides no benefit so I scrapped it. Looking through the recommended point spend on ships by function (offense, defense, etc.) I have reallocated the points one final time. This should be the final version.

Huh. Didn't know you can use Phys Science for that. If it works like Gunnery in other cases, it isn't your bonus but your ranks that are used. The formula is DEX bonus (2) + ranks in Physical Science (3, I assume). So your Gunnery is +5.

Yeah, I think that's the way it works, based on how it's worded.
FIRING SOLUTION: Firing large weapons in the vastness of space can be more a matter of physics than hand-eye coordination. When firing any weapon that would allow you to use Piloting for your attack roll, you can use Physical Science instead.
Gunnery Check = 1d20 + the gunner’s base attack bonus or the gunner’s ranks in the Piloting skill (or Ranks in Physical Science, per above) + the gunner’s Dexterity modifier + bonuses from computer systems + bonuses from the captain and science officers + range penalty.

Question about your crew. It was noted on the Betty that the Captain has a private quarter, and your Captain has been stated as being the Solarian, Alzura Frostflare.
In a military campaign, how that breaks down is obvious. But in a campaign of what might be a mix of salvaging, mercenary work, and merchandising, how solid do you WANT the command structure to be? Example, you could all be equals, with the Captain just in that position because he's good at directing the affairs of a starship, or the Captain could have clear authority over the vessel and, to an extent, the actions of the crew while in service.
I'd kind of assumed you'd all be equals, but that seems weird with the Captain having special quarters beyond what the rest of the crew get.
Opinions?

There is a feat for that!

Just like aboard the Rocinante. We're all co-owners, and Betty is "legitimate salvage," but when push comes to shove, the Captain always has the final word.

I’m for folks being relatively equal but willing to defer to different folks based on their expertise. So, if we are doing a scientific-y mission, Vaelorin would be the natural person to take charge of that. And, the Captain is the obvious face person and the guy who settles disputes and makes the final call. I also think - in a PbP format - we are better off with everyone being able to show initiative and lead. If this were a strict ‘military’ campaign, the Captain’s availability to post would be a potential bottleneck.
I don’t really care about sharing rooms or the captain getting his own. Given the scenario and ship size, I thought bunking together and the Captain getting her own room feels authentic. But if we want everyone, including the Captain, double-bunking that is fine with me. If we don’t have passengers aboard, we could figure out a different arrangement like the Captain gets a bedroom, Burlap hangs a hammock in the turret, Clarissa gets the passenger bedroom, and Cherry, Vaelorin, and Joyride each get their own bedrooms. Then we only double-bunk when we have real passengers or rescuees or whatever aboard.

You have a number of Resolve Points equal to half your character level (rounded down, but minimum 1) + the modifier of your key ability score.
So with your INT of 15, you have 3 Resolve currently (1 from your 3rd level + 2 for your 15 INT). Not too late to restructure your ability points if you want (one higher INT would give you an extra Resolve). Up to you.

Hey guys, let me know if you like your Paizo profile pics. OR, if you don't, get me a link to a picture that better represents your character. I'll create icons for each one of us and throw them on the Betty Map.
NOTE: I've added links to Betty's stats and map at the bottom of my Burlap profile.

If you get me links to those icons once you've made them I can use them on my combat maps as well; otherwise I generally use the alias image for the character.

I’m fine with this alias picture.
How did you link to your Hephaistos, PC sheet?
You can put a link to Betty in your profile header, or the GM can put it at the top of the page.

My header is pretty full which is why I left them off it. But Rando could throw them up once he creates the Gameplay thread.

The Betty map is editable by you guys so you may be able to just copy/paste them once they are built. But I'm happy to send them to you if that doesn't work for some reason.

You are in the engineering spaces. You're standing beside the newer of the two engines from our recent upgrade. The older and dirtier looking engine on the other side is the original. :)
Vaëlorin
Vaëlorin moved with a measured grace through the engineering spaces, his long coat flowing behind him like a drifting solar sail. He ran a hand along the new engine’s casing, fingers tracing the faint resonant hum beneath the surface. It was clean, modern—efficient in form and function. Yet efficiency alone was never the full measure of power.
“The song of this machine is crisp, but untested,” he mused aloud, the melodic cadence of his voice carrying in the quiet hum of the chamber. “Newborn potential, unshaped by time. A vessel’s soul is not in the metal, but in the memory of its journeys.”
His gaze lingered for a moment, but his mind drifted elsewhere—to the port side of the ship, where the older engine sat out of sight.
That one is different.
He could almost hear its lower, throatier resonance—a sound earned through strain, failure, and resilience. Where this new engine was pristine, the old one bore the scars of service.
Every burn, every surge of power, every near-failure… all of it etched into its circuitry.
There was wisdom in such age, an understanding that no new component could replicate. He pulled his hand away from the smooth casing of the new engine, glancing toward the bulkhead as if he could see through it.
“A ship is not its parts, but the harmony between them.”
With a quiet breath, he turned to leave, already forming calculations in his mind. There was potential here—if one knew how to shape it.
Cherry Bomb
Cherry hears a voice and pops up from a dangerous spot fiddling with an engine part
"Harmony, thatsss odd. Thought it wasss the engineering?" She says using her tail to grab a coil spanner as her other hand holds a bolt while the other wrenches it down.
" Bettys classssic partsss require love. Love and attention this isn't Oz we need to care and caressss her" She says with a smile. Atleast a vesk smile, which some could consider intimidating from such an aggressive predatorial species
Vaëlorin
I figured she is a mox of Scotty, Chewy, Chief O'Brian from DS9 and the Doctor when it comes too fixing things. With bubnle gum, duct tape and wire! The best Engineering the Vesk Emperium low priority frieght transport can buy!
Reminded me of Gune from Titan AE.
