I've been struggling with this decision since January.
I've been on and off the board over the last eleven years. I've loved my time here, but with changes in routines it's harder and harder to find the time and motivation to post. I was planning on staying in the six games I cut back to, but things are picking up in RL and it's only going to get worse when classes start again in September. So I feel like it's time to step away from all of the games.

YBD and Grumbaki, with our history it is especially difficult to walk away from this and 'Mummy's Mask' I've really enjoyed the time I've spent gaming with both of you. I'm not going into a lot of details here on the boards, but if you want more information I'll stay on discord (I use the format to chat with my daughter some) as robert.henry, feel free to drop me a line.
As for the survival of this game, I know eriktd (mahmoud) is biting at the bit to be in another of YBD's games. It may be worth bringing them on board.
I’m extremely sad to hear this. You’re an awesome person, and being in a game with you is always a treat.
However, it is just that. A game. Real life always comes first. And should you decide to come back to the boards when your life calms down, then I hope that I will have the pleasure of being one of the first to welcome you back.
As for this game: I’m still here, and would love to have eriktd come in. I do hope though, perhaps selfishly, that RH can have a good send off after this fight, though.
Oh no, I'm so sorry! As Grumbaki says, real life always needs to come first. If things settle down in the future and you feel up to coming back to the boards, don't hesitate to send me a message. Gaming with you over the years has been an absolute pleasure, so I truly hope that this isn't a "goodbye," but only a "see you later."
