He does not, just regular Uncanny Dodge…didn’t think about being flanked, should’ve made an acrobatic move to avoid a potential AoO [facepalm]
My bad on not mentioning the faint sound of buzzing. Their wings are story shenanigans anyway though.
Edit: Yeesh, gonna have to pull these stat blocks together into something separate, keeping them straight in the scenario is a nightmare of mistakes.

GM wrote: I think the 30ft cone is still just able to get Tad, but it likely won't matter much. The mantis columns are a hazard, not a creature, which Quenly can recognize.
I think I can angle it to catch the visible (non-hazard) bad guys and no allies, there are plenty of possible positions. Want me to check on the map?
The dragon will place itself away from danger but within 60' of as many party members as possible, and within 30' of Quenly (if possible).
How many HP does it have again?

3 ;)
Though it doesn't die till -15hp (or -18hp within 30' of Quenly)
It's fast enough to withdraw to the NW and double back out of enemies' reach I think.
Oh, it's probably about to pop, the high priestess has some stupidly large AoE effects on hand. But I did wait until the end of the scenario to do it!
Apologies for the GM loading time, lots of environment effects plus high level casters plus just everything to juggle.

No worries, the dragon is easily replaced with a level 5 spell slot and a Standard action - if Quenly gets time for it!
I'll keep that in mind for part 2. ;)

Whilst you're prepping GM, can you confirm the ambient light level in the surroundings? (Just in cast Quenly needs to get anyone out with Shadow Walk).
The glow from the stone walls is not given a light level, so I am assuming dim light. You will find out shortly that Shadow Walk is not going to be an option, however.
Sadly, with the dragon gone Tamerius' warning falls on deaf ears.

If things get ugly here, Tad has BoL scrolls...
I expect Flyn will handle things shortly. The dimensional lock on the temple does crimp Tam's style, however.

Sorry for not posting; the energy I'd like to have put into deciding on Tad's action got used up on a not fun at all behind the scenes VO thing...
No worries, we have time. I did forgot that the assassins have SR, so keep that in mind for your actions, going to roll with it as if checks to overcome succeeded.

@Quenly: I know you wanted me to fire at Saviya but not sure I’m likely to take her out with one attack…and since it looks like she’s a very high level cleric, I was thinking she has Heal and could wipe away most if not all damage I could inflict. I opted to take out (hopefully) one of the assassins as that way they can’t flank attack any of us. Next round, I’ll turn my attention on her but think we’ll need some other focused attacks on her as well…

No worries Flyn.
I'll have a think about whether it's time to shapechange to some sort of combat form.
Meanwhile, maybe our two clerics could try some Greater Dispels on the BBEG? She's definitely got some sort of abjurations up (Spell Resistance and Protection from Fire seem certain).
Yeah, her prep involved specific counters to dispel magic, but we quickly pointed out in the GM discussion thread they were not allowed by the rules.

Apologies for the delay on my end, I should be able to post on Saturday.
We should be able to wrap up this scenario by the end of the month. Any opinions on how to handle the second? I don't know if waiting for the new year will clear up any schedules appreciably enough, so I'm open to looking for a fifth player.

Tad is really not built for 'hard mode' with less than four players. He just doesn't have much damage potential that he can use often at all. I might have someone else in range if we proceed with only 3. I'd be OK with either waiting until January or playing soon.

Real life's been a PITA, sorry I've been afk for a while.
I can get a gameplay post up later today, and I'd be up for part 2 but preferably with a full party.
I'll see about sourcing some extra players for part 2.
No Time Stop for me this go-around. :)
Chronicles will be out this weekend, I will post a wrap up post tonight or tomorrow assuming no other interactions with Eylysia are wanted.

Grandmaster TOZ wrote: No Time Stop for me this go-around. :) Good thing for us…never been in a game where that’s been cast. In fact, only time I saw it cast was in that Chris Pine DnD movie and that was pretty cool…
I had a pretty good round with it last time, letting her heal all her damage and use mislead to get out of an invisibility purge while the illusion drew fire.
The real annoying part is that her illusory honor guard costs a swift action to keep adjacent and also takes an immediate action to transpose in front of an attack. But only for melee attacks, not ranged. So archery remains king, as always.
Chronicle link.
I will be waiting until at least next month to get us started on part 2. If anyone needs more time, we can push back longer. I have three possible extra players and will be waiting to decide in case of other applicants.

I built is character after playing a buff bot cleric in a home Hell's Vengeance campaign (that sadly fell apart after book 3). I want to build a 9th level divine caster that have something to do in combat other than casting or stand there idly because you've buff your teammate before battle and you are not needed anymore.......so I settle down with an archer druid.
Between him and his improved familiar they got all 10 knowledge checks covered, familiar can do a some of diplomacy. Being capable of fighting in range allow him to allocate about 75% of his spells for team buffs. Familiar got good UMD as well and can't fail using Breath of Life scroll.
I should be able to get his PbP profile and header sorted out in a week or two.
If we hear from Tamerius before we start, that should be a solid party. If he’s not able to return for part 2, I can call in one or two of the standbys for a replay.

Welcome Colin!
Quenly will much enjoy a Greater Magic Fang from time to time - and can even spare your spell slot with his use of Channel the Gift ;)
Quenly doesn't tend to melee much, but when the need arises assumes various different shapes via Many Forms (Greater Polymorph). GMF can help a lot with that. Quenly does have a +1 Agile Amulet of Mighty Fists that he should probably go back to wearing.

Hi, Colin, and welcome.
I don't think you've met Tad. He's a little lick-healing froggie. (I describe the lick as a damp tap on the shoulder, and Tad chews mint leaves so that his breath is fresh when he heals.) The only way he can cast CLW or use heal wands from 10 feet away is to lick...
He is a squishy as a wizard, and can throw the occasional fireball or other fire damaging spell.
Sign in sheet has been cleared for updated info. I will post the scenario start tonight or tomorrow.
