How many? Around 4 :P When my beutiful monster loose they get boosted! In reality I forgot about it being prone. The creature has a 2 action skittering assault - move 3 times, can attack different creature with leg as it moves, do not increase map until the end of the action, so with 3 actions you can strike 4 times, but the prone was lost.

To retcon I will leave: stand up, bite Kagan, move towards Quinoline, So leo gets +21 back, I will resolve Leos action with the others

The shield maiden lives up to her name as she blocks yet another blow from one of the rock monsters. The small pebble attached to the shield glows briefly, then shatters as the shield is struck.

Out of the corner of her eye she spies Quinoline holding fast against the insectoid menace and cheers her friend on. "Ha! Excellent Quin! Stand your ground just like a proper shield maiden! I imagine that Kagan is being held in the air (it's more cinematic this way). But if not, then Blazeclaw will move to another place - its intention is to bite the bug.

It looks like Astrid and the elemental were within 15 ft when hit. Therefore, within range of Glimpse of Redemption.

Leo brings his sword in front of his face and closes his eyes for a second. "Fulgur Arcus!" he shouts again and again causing loud crackling electricity to emerge and jump to each of the enemies. (Green > Blue) Electricity continues to crackle on the sword as he then swipes twice at the adjacent elemental.

With the stone creature's blow already blunted by the power of Leo's deity it is a simple matter for Astrid to interpose her shield and completely disperse its power.

↺ Quick shield block. 13 avoided from glimpse and 13 from Astrid's shield. Total 26 avoided. No damage to either Astrid or the shield.

The ulfen warrior points her sword at the most injured creature and glares menacingly. "Give my regards to the Gray Lady."

Green crumbles to the ground by the sheer force of electricity, Blue, somehow survives the magic, but then is handled quickly with accurate strikes from Quinoline, Astrid and Leo. Combat over ;) Green was supposed to be only frightened 1, Kagan was not supposed to be grabbed any more ;)

As you finish the battle, Kreighton and Effeflinn finally push back all creatures from the portal and it closes with a loud chime. They begrudgingly acknowledge each other’s work. Irlah, Eltha, and Piltineff look around in wonder at the Grand Lodge after a century away. Gorm Greathammer, out of breath, examines the carnage in the Archive. He notes the dead gogiteth, the closed portal, and the returned PCs, as well as the missing members of the Rhombodazzle expedition.

Gorm Greathammer rubs his chin, momentarily at a loss for words. "I look forward to hearing what happened. For now, I’m just glad that you were on this mission. I think things would have gone badly for all of us without your efforts. Once you’ve had a chance to recover from this battle, I look forward to hearing your story."

Quinoline gets out a broom and sweeps up all the broken glass for recycling. High quality borosilicates are difficult to find.

Kagan calms drake, who violently tears up the gogiteth's carcass for some time, increasing the already great chaos around.

It was an honor to participate in this mission. Kagan salutes his comrades, with whom he went to the Darklands.

She turns to Eltha and whispers. "I still think we should have painted Kreighton blue."

She turns back to Gorm and continues. "Oh and of course there were the obligatory monsters to kill as well. Anyway a full debriefing will have to wait. Our lost lambs haven't been to a tavern for some proper ale in a hundred years. You can have your debriefing once we all have a drink or five in our bellies. Come on everyone, The Pig and Whistle is waiting. Kreighton and Effie are buying. It's the least they could do."


Grom listens with interest, and quickly grabs on his instrument "Fascinating tale, I could write a ballad about this journey, if you would give the rights to do so ..."

Eltha, Irlah and Piltineff have hard time believing that they get back.

Irlah offers you her own token of thanks: a series of sketches she drew over the years detailing every part of Nivi Rhombodazzle’s house. You each have a magic die from your game with Nivi, and you wonder would it come handy if you need a bit of luck?
