I am looking to GM the following AP’s. Just need to know which one is more in demand. Please respond with a number, in the replies. The greatest number by Saturday will be what I run.
1. Sandpoint AP 200
2. Gate Walkers
3. Season of the Ghost
4. City of Edge Watch.

3 always seemed like it'd be fun.

I'll go with #3 too

Asian horror? I'm in. Season of Ghosts please.

I have want to take The Tour of Absolam for a while!

#4! Edge watch

Pathfinder Lost Omens Subscriber

4 Urban adventuring in PF2e for the win.

Scarab Sages

Yeah, gotta say #3 is where it's at.

Edgewatch is the most attractive to me. Detective work is awesome!

Tie between 2, 3, and 4, for me.

3

Cool idea GM Ash, I'm voting 4: City of Edge Watch.

Grand Lodge

1 or 3 would be of greatest interest to me.

4

So far 6 to 6 I count those who could not decide together.

Verdant Wheel

4!

4 as well.

I'd lean, slightly, towards Season of Ghosts (#3). I think they are all solid options.

7 to 8
I think i shut this down tomorrow, and based the game on the last set of votes.

Agents of Edge Watch
Greetings potential Officers of Edge Watch!!
The Rainbow Festival is about to held in the rebuilt Precipice Quarter. This year’s grand exhibits include a incredible gyroscopic towers from Vudra, a Minkaian kami temple called the Dragonfly Pagoda, a moving
castle built by Keleshite engineers, and a terrifyingly massive excavation machine called Graveraker. We of the Absalom Grand Council, are to provide opportunities for you citizen! Come to the local office of the Edge Watch located in the center of the Precipice Quater.

I am looking for 4-5 players. So pretend your character, is coming to apply. Please tell me the following.
What is Character Concept ?
What is a specific goal your character would want to achieve and accomplish during the campaign?

Stubborn cusses, the lot of them...

A rugged halfling, well advanced in age, casually strolls up to her locker - 3d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 2) = 9 #522 - and carelessly tosses in her adventuring pack, rapier, and buckler (but not her concealed firearm!), shutting it without bothering to even lock it.

"Mornin', you. Glad I won't be the only fresh meat around here" she slaps the next character to post on the shoulder with force beyond her small frame, her tone brotherly "They call me Sergeant Salt back at the Puddles - suppose you can do that too if you like. Veteran with 10d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 2, 1, 6, 6, 5, 4, 3, 6) = 40 years under my belt. Hoping this promotion get's me a fresh start" now pulling a sixteenth-pint flask from an inner vest pocket, she brandishes it offeringly "Little pick me up before our first assignment? Think of it as a gift from upstairs..."

Leaving the question in the open air, it quickly dawns upon any adjacent ear-hustlers that the reference is not meant to signify "management" - but rather, something perhaps more vertical altogether!

Submitting my Grizzled Muckraker Cleric of Besmara whose concept is a support caster with a "splash" of firepower chasing the goal of checking off "retirement" from her bucket list!

(Played a couple weeks in PbP AoE before it quickly crumbled - will complete her profile within the day!

Concept:

An escapee from the Technic League. Hates both magic and technology. Will grudgingly accept Divine Healing, but otherwise uses Kineticist-type offense.

Specific Goal:

Avoid the Technic League while destroying technological abominations.

Human (?) inventor with experimental police body armor

Become the”Q” of Absalom guard.

@scranford: I tend to look on Agents of Edgewatch with extreme distaste, but your concept-in-a-sentence made me think about it in a whole new way. Nicely done.

And given the poster above, it looks like it could be quite the interesting team…

@oceanshieldwolf when I read their post I was very impressed with the concept.

1. Lavana Saltspray “SGT Salt” your in.
2. Paulos the fugitive your in.
3. Scramfoed “Q” your in.
4. Ocean you’re welcome to join us.
I am willing to start on Monday if you all ready to go. We can pick up people along the way if or I can make NPCs.

I'll work on getting the character built, and profile up tomorrow. Got my real life looking at fellow nerd faces this afternoon, returning to the Abomination Vaults. Thanks for the invite...

"Tell us a bit about yourself"

"H-Hello, my name is Ak Bokker, I'm recently moved from Vudra into the Foreign District, but I'm orignally came from Xa Hoi. I'm a tinkerer by trade, but my real passion lie within the realm of song, I'm a follower of Shelyn, and I don't like to hurt people if possible"

"Why are you interested in working for Edgdwatch?"

"I truly want people to be safe, especially during this once in a life time festival that is coming up. And I also needed the money for my dream of traveling across Golorian"

"What has been your greatest achievement?"

"My greatest achievement so far have gotta be that time that my song inspired a bandit to give up his life of crime and follow his dream instead"

"What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

"My strengths is that I inspired people, and my weakness, well, it, ehhh, I don't like confrontation." His real weakness is that he don't like to work

"What did you like best and least about your last job?"

"I like that it allow me to express my creativity outside of my usual song, but I hate that most client don't understand my creativity"

"Give an example of a problem you faced at your last job and how you solved it."

"I was really low on money, and can't afford material for my creation, but because of my resourcefulness, I was able to find perfectly good metal and gear that was throw out as trash."

"What would you like to be doing five years from now?"

"Relaxing in my hometown after I finish travelling across Golorian"

"Finally, would you rather be in charge of a project or work as part of a team?

"Part of the team, every single time."

@Ak your in.

@Ash - I was thinking you were giving preference to those who voted in your straw poll…

The more the merrier also, I also want those rp well..

Not sure if it's too late, but if you're already full, please consider this character as a possible back-up in the future?
1/2 Orc Barbarian, Harbor Guard Moonlighter background

The thin guardsman with the spotchy beard cleared his throat before he spoke, obviously nervous. "You know, you COULD sit down on the bench there. No need to stand like that..." The massive figure that stood across the table from him made a sound that was somewhere betwen a darkwood bear and an irritated mountain lion...but the man with grayish-green skin did actually sit. "So, uh, your name again?"

The well muscled half-orc grunted and said simply: "Khal-er-os." The large figure's voice was deep and rough, with a light twinge of an obviously foreign accent, as if the common tongue was a second language.

Nigel Scaldfinger, the interviewing watchman, sighed and asked, "And you think you'd be a good Watchman, because...?"

The oversized man made a face, a single tusk protruding from the left side of his lower lip, "Already AM one." Another grunt.

"You, uh, Are? Whaa, I mean, where...? flumoxed, Nigel blinked several times as Kaleros shifted and then stood.

This time, Khaleros cleared his own throat, and then in clearer Common he said, "Look. Here's how it is. I'm being transfered outta' HarborGuard. 'Got in one too many brawls. It's a shame, too, 'cause I was looking forward ta' maybe buyin' that tavern one day. Anyway, they told me to show up here." The half-orc paused, "SO I'm here. Ain't that good enough for ya'?"

Well, there are certain technicalities and procedures that are required before one can..."

Suddenly Khaleros roared in obvious anger and rage, clenching his upper body revealing even more of his rippling, gray-green muscles. The half-orc's bellows made Nigel flinch and two other watchmen, who had been lounging just outside the door, rushed into the room, hands on their weapons.

And then, as quickly as the yelling started, it was replaced by a deep but loud chuckle. "Don't pay ta' make the big, mean, wildman angry, slim. Especially when he's exactly where he was told ta go by his former commander. So c'mon, officer, just tell me where I bunk so I can put down my pack and get some grub."

The voice was still a baritone and gruff, but now mixed in with a good deal of amusement. Khaleros added a wink, "Well...?"

Paulos Pathbuilder sheet

I still need to work on the gear, and some fine-tuning.

@GM Ash: Ok, I'll make a character over the next day or so. So currently we have

Paulos - Kineticist
(Scranford's) - Inventor
Sergeant Salt - Cleric
Khaleros - Barbarian

Hmm...might try a wizard for the first time ever....across any edition...

Hmm. I just don’t think this is the campaign for the wizard concept I was thinking of…as much fun as a Pratchett-esque Guards! Guards! wizard might be…Now thinking perhaps rogue, to pair with Khaleros…and add a few thievery skills…

Paulos - Kineticist
(Scranford's) - Inventor
Sergeant Salt - Cleric
Khaleros - Barbarian
Ocean - Guard ?
This is a good build for us. So everyone take their time. I also wanted to note that I have roll20 for the maps. I ran this for son and his family. If roll20 is not easy for the majority I will put the maps etc on Google slides. Let’s aim for Tuesday to start, this way everyone can enjoy their Sunday.

Ok, this is the statblock for League Anskblodt. I’ll get to making a proper alias.

A former soldier (medic) who has returned to his extended family’s tenement in Absalom. The Anskblodts skirt the liminal zone between “almost respectable” and “wanted”, and before he went “legit” League indulged in his fair share of dodgy escapades, light enforcing and downright skullduggery. Nevertheless, League is hardworking, and honorable after a fashion - he understands honesty is its own reward, but sometimes subterfuge makes you richer. He works well with others, and even better alone.

In combat he wields a bastard sword and shortsword, dropping his shortsword to better deal damage two-handed with the bigger blade. He also favors his trusty harpoon for ranged ambushes.

GM Ash: I selected Ceramic Plate for his armor - this is from the Treasure Vault - let me know if this is ok.

Ancestry: Human

Are we using “free archetype” or “ancestral paragon”?

For some reason, I cannot log into Roll20, and it will not allow me to change my password.

<<later>>

I'm finally able to login, but, I actually prefer google maps.

Pathbuilder 2 Copy of Khaleros

Pretty much ready, for review, at least. :O

Scranford's character... Bahir Steel. I'll work more on formatting.

Damn, looks like I was slow on the draw. Turns out this weekend was pretty busy for me.

Apologies Ak, according to GM Ash in this post you are indeed in. I somehow missed you from the very short list I poorly compiled.

Here is my character sheet.

@GM Ash - that looks like an almost direct copy of your post above? Also, you’ve left out Ak.

I’m almost finished League, just editing his alias down the line from a copy of a different Rogue character template…

Thanks. @ League.
If everyone can please post your character sheets as alias. I do must of my posting from IPhone. In the top line so i can see it, make sure your perception, AC, HP, Saves are there. Thanks!

League is good to go. He’ll likely be asking the higher ups for a Healer’s Toolkit as he lost his…in the field…when he was a field…medic and can’t afford a new one…

Background coming together. He was basically a spoiled brat younger son of a Taldan noble family that has been in Absalom for years. He earned his families disapproval by quitting his job as a lawyer and joining the Edgewatch, where hopefully these folks will appreciate his innovative spirit.

Could you start up the Gameplay thread so we can dot/delete and add it to our active games page?
