Look at us! Pimping out the village!
Your mothers must be so proud.
But let's see if there's enough diplomacy result to make it work.
Vasaam Cathan |

Awe.... I thought it'd be a great idea for all of the young lads of the village to enjoy time with her!

That sounds so wrong, and your hair dyes lilac for that for the coming 1d5 ⇒ 3 days. :P

Vasaam Cathan |

LOL! I wish I could edit the picture for my character. Lilac?

Nausicaa Ingrid Leona Ioanna |

I'll be out of town for a while (the next 3 days) and might be able to get an LTE connection to keep up

Will that in in RL days or in-game days. XD

Vasaam Cathan |

Assuming in-game as that will be a lot longer.
What color is lilac?

Vasaam Cathan |

Hmm.... Had a character that had light blue hair for a year in game. Wasn't bad. Cursed so I couldn't change it.

Mary Dawnrose |

FYI, I am in Greece on vacation. My posts may be inconsistent in frequency and quality.
Greece? Oof, that's like an oven, according to an acquaintance of mine who lives in Greece.
Have a good vacation regardless.

This was planned to be so regardless, but Steve is the only businessman in Yonford, who deliberately crafts cursed items, for commercial purposes of making it their best selling point. Not that any evidence has ever turned up. For being, as Leona describes it well, a rumored curse artificer mage, it comes naturally with some contempt from peers, but his work is popular among the common folk and people who want to spite or prank others.
The moment I read the spoilers of a cursed item craftsman, I thought of the Manga titled
My S-Rank Party Fired Me for Being a Cursificer ~ I Can Only Make “Cursed Items”, but They're Artifact Class!
Vasaam Cathan |

Artifact level curses? Like use once and all of your bones become jelly?

Vasaam Cathan |

I just read through the cursed item rules. Some of them are things that might not have any effect. Example: A cursed sword that only works for a non-caster. ?? Not a problem for a fighter!

This is homebrew, though. ;)

What is behind us if we tried to back away? Fighting from where we are isn't going to work.

Mary Dawnrose |

A heads up, from coming saturday, i'll be on a 3 weeks holiday to Japan, so checking in will be sporadic.

Vasaam Cathan |

Enjoy! I lived there for several years on active duty, and have visited a couple times on business trips. Sadly, all that is gone now and I doubt I'll be able to get back again.

I am lucky to have this be my 2nd vacation going there. I've done so several years back. This time different travel agent. We're going with a full group of 20 people, our agency's tour guide excluded.
My previous trip was just 7 of us. Me at that time the young one of the group, with 3 elderly couples..... yeah, quite a difference in things you want to see, then.
I want to collect temple emblems/stamps and calligraphy, this time.

Vasaam Cathan |

Add origami. And if you like chess, add Shogi and Go.
What cities/temples will you be seeing?

I've still to set a list for myself, but i hear there's a big one in Tokyo, near to our hotel.

Vasaam Cathan |

I was stationed in Iwakuni and didn't get up to the temples in Tokyo. A lot of good ones around there. Will you be traveling outside of Tokyo? Peace Park and the museum in Hiroshima is a good one if you have any interest in WW2 and the atomic bombs. There's also Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima island with the Torii gate in the water. Watch out for the monkeys there though.

Mary Dawnrose |

I've been to both of the museums in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
It was a strong impression, of sad events. :(
I don't recall monkeys on anywhere i visited last time. Plenty of deer, though, one even ate my information flyer out of my pocket.

Vasaam Cathan |

LOL! They used to warn about the deer and the monkeys at Miyajima. The animals are used to tourists feeding them even though they aren't supposed to.
I agree about the museums in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Sad events. My mother-in-law got upset because she'd also been to the museum in Hawaii and she felt insulted, like the Japanese were trying to lay all of the blame on the US when "They started it!".

Not quite that, but one of my fellow groupmembers got angry i spoke out that the bomb was a horrible event. I mean, the bomb was meabt for a military base, instead destroying a city full of civilians.
She instantly went on about the japanese prison camps. And yes, what i've read/seen about them was bad too, but seeing the pictures and documents..... that made me sad. :/ The lengths and horrible means needed to stop something horrible else going on....
But that is in the past. This time i can visit Mt. Fuji, and i booked a visit to a digital art museum.

Mary Dawnrose |

Hello fixers. Hopefully you're all doing fine.
It's busy here, and with a few days exception so far, it's been tropical. Warm and humid.
Caught some interesting sights this past week. If anyone decides to visit Tokyo, make sure to book a ticket to TeamLab's museum of digital art.

Mary Dawnrose |

@Vasaam: slings are simple weapons. Everyone is proficient with those.
Though oddly enough, wizards are the exception, going by their named proficiencies.

Vasaam Cathan |

I have Ray of Frost, but it is close range, 25' + 5'/2 levels.
I have Magic Missile but hadn't prepared it.

Vasaam Cathan |

I agree. That was why I hadn't readied it.
With my build Ray of Frost does 1d3+3 if it hits. Ranged touch makes that easier....

Sorry for radio silence, I am getting back onto it.
Welcome back.

Mary Dawnrose |

Something that occurred to me.
Golarion Pathfinder has spells that provide waterbreathing.
But to keep consistent that the people of Pruolus are isolated, and the forces of the Crimson Armada not getting a foothold, this world doesn't have spells for waterbreathing.

Mary Dawnrose |

=O
That's unfair! But I suppose druids can still turn into a fish?
Yes they could. But if waterbreathing magic was a thing, the whole concept of Pruolus' isolation would be void. People would just mass produce means to get off the island by waterbreathing.

Mary Dawnrose |

Alternatively, marine life would be dangerous enough for people not wanting to risk venturing underwater.
