With no attempt to be quiet she shouts. "She unnerves me too! What is wrong with her?! I really don't know what you should do. I do not understand how I could have survived and become THAT!"

Just to follow up on my question in the discussion, are there any obvious controls in this room? There was mention of an access panel, but wasn't sure if that was just a physical access panel or some sort of control panel? I'm just wondering if there would be some controls for this set up which might help (ideally an 'off switch' for the haunt, or more likely something less drastic but still useful). If there is nothing obviously useful Farrokh will move to an appropriate place while drawing a vial of holy water and then apply that to the haunt.

miteke |

The cameras blind it. Maybe destroying something else would help, but it is guesswork. Dark Isirah is just lerning about undead and will be no help.

Can I smite haunt btw? If yes, I'll do it. It's +18 dmg for the first LoH & +9 for the next ones.

@Nikki
Yes, you absolutely can! This is an attack that requires a to hit roll so smite applies. Speaking of which, Reesa, I really should have asked for a to hit roll on your heavenly fire. Fortunately it is a touch attack and the AC is 5 and I'll just roll it for the both of you to keep things moving. You guys only miss on a 1 anyway and the dice bot hates me just as much as it hates you.

Normally not, but it specifically says in the scenario that if whe is blinded she still uses her ability, but it is just random. Haunts are odd.
Dark Isirah does her best, but the pathfinders rain down retribution on her and with a final gasped shout, she gives up the ghost (couldn't resist)

I just realised Farrokh didn't make an attack roll either for his holy water, so I'll do it now.... Attack for holy water: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 ...If it matters, as it was an attack with a weapon he would have done +2 damage with it due to arcane strike.

Once, it is apparent that there is nothing immediately important in the room Farrokh follows the group out of the room. He reapplies heightened awareness and also casts communal protection from energy (acid) on the party as a precaution (As the duration is split between targets he will only cast it on party members who want it, just in case others have their own ways to mitigate acid damage. It's total duration is 90 minutes and it will protect for 108 points of acid damage).

No doorknob. These doors are Star Trekesque and you use the access panel to open them. Isirah has explained how they work and as long as it is functioning, you should be able to open it.

Opening the door is scouting. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Shonne uses the fast, efficient, easy-to-use-door without an old-style analogue knob. First she creates and logs into her new door account using the convenient keypad. Next she creates the digital alphanumeric code that the door says will enable her to "experience new and exciting spaces" for something called "all-natural, organic networking and social media". The system informs her that she will have to reset her password again every other month and the code cannot be similar to one that she has used in the last eighteen. The code must include at least eight characters, letters (at least one must be a capitol letter), numbers, a selection of other keypad symbols though the machine would never tell her which are allowed and which are not.
When she finally finishes, the door tries to make her feel bad by telling her that "Gozreh123." is "not very strong" whatever that means, given that Gozreh is the God of Wind and Waves--two things that can be incredibly powerful.
Somehow Shonne finds herself longing for doorknobs, or even better--curtains.
Shonne opens the door.

@Shoone
You sound like someone with experience with modern security measures and systems.
This chamber contains a bank of consoles—several shattered—that encircle the room. Chairs lie scattered and broken all around on the floor.
Isirah explains that a console is where you enter information and the computer responds with visual information through the monitors, and verbal information though speakers in the monitors. Of course, many of the terms are foreign to you, but Isirah is delighted to explain everything to you down to bits and bytes vs. analog if you drive her in that direction. Though she has trouble remembering some things and there are major holes in her technical explanations added to by the fact that she was not a computer technician.

He'll use a wand for heightened awareness.
For communal protection from energy, it's probably worth working out if everyone needs it casting on them as obviously the more people it is cast on the less time it lasts. It looks like to cover all six of us it would be 10 minutes for 3 party members and 20 minutes for the other 3.

How does 20 minutes on Faroque, Ingrge, and Ikita, 10 minutes on Elu, Reesa, and Shonne sound?
Reesa volunteers to take the resistance to acid buff as she follows the others into the next room.
Nobody has entered the room yet.
Elu scooches north along the hallway a little further, just enough to peek around the corner, and sees a corridor headed east for about 60' where it Ts off to the north and south. Since she is carrying a light source, stealth doesn't make much sense. To that point, what's the lighting situation like? Obviously we have working doors so are the "doorknob panels" lit? Do they have a sleep mode? Is there overhead track lighting?
Do we even know what we are looking for? Finding something that looks haunted doesn't seem much like a plan. Perhaps someone should ask the ghost that is with us for more information. says Shonne through the expediency of her taught expression, the slight tilt to her head, and a sharp nod indicating frustration and the slate of pale blue crystal.
