At this point we'll have four players (five are signed up, but one isn't Core).

![]() |

Sorry, missed the fact that this was core. Papa Òxọ́lé doesn't qualify, so please remove him from the game. Enjoy all!

Faction Liberty's Edge

DM Carbide |

Malon, this is going to be Tier 4-5. Are you good with playing up?

![]() |

I was wondering what happens if you miss the melee touch attack after casting a spell, as happened to Gwendolyn. It seems to be the case by all rulings that you can keep making touch attacks until you hit, and then the spell is discharged.
That is nice, saves a lot of spell slots.

DM Carbide |

That's my understanding as well.

DM Carbide |

Because it might be important soon, I have a question for Gwendolyn: how do you have a +8 in Linguistics?

![]() |

Two ranks, +2 from Int, the Librarian trait makes it a class skill (for another +3 because she has a rank in it {BTW Profession is already a class skill for Sorcerers}) and it gives her a +1 bonus on top.

DM Carbide |

According to your character profile you have the Arcane Archivist trait, not Librarian.

![]() |

Probably because outside of the game it means the same thing, but sounds cooler. ;)
If you scroll down to the ability explanations though it lists Librarian and not Archivist. That and the latter doesn't really do much for her and isn't reflected in her stats. Regardless, it's fixed.

DM Carbide |

Please sign up at RPGChronicles, HERE. It's the method the GameDay is using.

She acts before the quickling in the round, and could have readied an action.
So a person can ready a standard or move action. If Hera goes first, her move action for the turn is flying, leaving her a standard action-worth of action left. In order to interact with a ground-based foe she would either have fly nap-of-the-earth, and then that foe would have to move through her space. Since she apparently can never see the trail of the thing (and there's no indication of where it is or has gone or traveled on the map) there's really not much I/she can do. If she had some indication of where it was trying to get to, or the paths it was traversing she might land somewhere near it's path and set up an action to move very slightly and then attack (or at least cut-off the quickling), but since there no indication of its angle of attack, it's kinda pointless to try.

DM Carbide |

Ah, I see--I was conflating delaying and readying, since it hadn't made any difference for anyone else in the party. I've added its line of travel.

DM Carbide |

Everyone, please roll a d20 for boons.
Boon chance: 1d20 ⇒ 11

![]() |

boon: 1d20 ⇒ 14

DM Carbide |

Also too, everyone except Gwendolyn still needs to sign up at RPGChronicles--here's the LINK.

![]() |

HERE COMES THE BOON! 1d20 ⇒ 15
Oh, and then Hera gets to roll. Where is that flying feather duster? ;)
GG everyone!

![]() |

Using my Reroll on that horrid dayjob.
Profession: Merchant + MW Tool + 2-star: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 19

Signed up on RPG Chronicles. Thanks for the game!

If for some reason we missed some prestige points there, Nala has a boon to get one back. I doubt we did but that would probably be important to know before you completed chronicles.

DM Carbide |

You didn't miss any Prestige; the faction missions that would have garnered you the second point have been removed from the scenario.

Chronicle sheets!
Let me know if anything needs to be changed. Thanks again for playing! I'll leave this active for the next day or two to give everyone time to download theirs.
ETA: Every Core game that's been reported through RPGChronicles has turned the PCs Standard. I'm going to preemptively notify the online VC to correct it.

I managed to get the request in before the game was reported, so the team did it right the first time. At least, the PC I applied credit to is still Core.

Got it and thanks for the game, have a good one!

DM Carbide |

Thanks again for playing. I'm going to set this inactive, but I tend to leave chronicle sheets available in perpetuity if you ever happen to misplace yours. (This never has happened to me <eyeroll emoji>.)
