Since this is a quest, you each begin with 1 Hero Point and have access to your School item.

Quests don't give school items anymore. 3 glyphs to share.

So, the only thing I could find was this from the Guide:

Modes of Play

The society rules for play are customized to work with Pathfinder Quests and Scenarios, and are not necessarily applicable to other sanctioned adventures. As such, PFS has 2 different modes of play:

Society Mode is used for PFS Scenarios and Quests, and adheres to all the rules published in this guide. Society mode is governed by the Run as Written provisions in Game Master Basics.

". . . adheres to all the rules published in this guide," would suggest to me that this includes School Items. Do you have a more specific reference for me to update my practice?

Sure. A crowbar may be more ubiquitously beneficial, though.

Reference. Redeux mentioned that this was changed in Season 2 or 3 (I forget which).

You all have 2 hero points--unless losing my Glyph changed that--and it's a 1 XP quest. Just noting...

Fynn: let me know whose damage you block (your own or Savan's, piercing or poison), which probable depends on the save results.

PFS Lore: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Engineering Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
