"Let me cook those for you," he tells the kobolds, striding up to their table, making a horizontal fan with his hands and fingers and sending out a burst of fire.

Apologies, I was waiting for Thorn without realizing he wasn't up.

Kzem recognizes these as kobold soldiers, a little stronger than the rookies they stationed upstairs. They have no vulnerabilities, so Personal Antithesis only. He runs up and bonks Red on the head.

Meadow runs in and fires two warning shots into the ceiling.

Buzz runs in and fires some stingers at Green. Only one hits, but it's as damaging as it can be.

Grimmylow "Bobby Flay" Grunderbuff charges in and sets the whole table on fire.

Red and Green scramble out of the way, but Yellow is mid-bite.

Red stands up, grabs a spear, and stabs back at Kzem.

Yellow slams down his fork. "I asked for medium rare! This is medium-well!" He stands, grabs his spear, and throws it at Grimmylow.

Green rolls out of the way and retreats to the chest in the far corner, opening it. "We're under attack!" he shouts to his resting comrades.

Cyan bolts out of bed, rushes over to the open chest, and reaches inside, grabbing a bottle of clear liquid, which they hurl at Buzz.

Buzz, and the square in which he stands, is coated with slippery oil.

Oil: Each time they Stride, they must attempt a DC 10 Acrobatics skill check. If they fail, they fall over and gain the prone condition instead of moving. The hero can Step, moving only 5 feet, without this check. Anyone who moves through a square covered in oil must attempt a DC 10 Acrobatics skill check. If they fail, they stop moving and fall.

Blue stands up, grabs a spear, and rushes forward, almost bumping into Thorn at the entrance. "There are more of them! Block the entrance!"

Magenta stands up, rushes to the chest, and lobs a bottle at Thorn.

Meadow launches an incredibly precise arrow at Cyan, and Cyan falls - unconscious, but not dead. Exactly as she had planned. Silence charges in and mops up Blue.

Buzz's stingers bounce harmlessly off of the kobold's scales.

Retconning -5 hp on Kzem, I guess I forgot to resolve it.

Kzem bonks Red on the head with his shield boss, knocking Red unconscious. Then he steps and smashes Yellow in the same spot, but without a personal antithesis, Yellow manages to barely stay up.

Yellow rushes back to the chest and throws a flask at Kzem.

Kzem starts to rush forward, only to fall on his face. He crawls out of the space and stands up.

A shot rings out, and Green jerks his shoulder back, taking a well-placed, nonlethal shot to the shoulder.

Grimmylow keeps protecting Buzz and himself.

Buzz's stinger catches Green just as he gets shot, and Green falls to the ground, dead.

Meadow fires three arrows at Yellow, but all three hit the bed. The arrows poke through the straw and give the kobold a scare, though.

Yellow retreats to the beds as well, flipping it over to take cover behind.

Magenta stands to hurl a spear all the way across the room at Grimmylow, but then takes cover again.

Kzem strides up to the bed and shoves it aside, raising his shield to smash the kobold.

"Aaah! Please don't hurt me!" he yells, and surrenders.

I'll assume you accept. There are two unconscious kobolds, plus the surrendered one, that you can question.

Each kobold here is wearing a copper-and-eggshell necklace like the trapmaster kobold upstairs. Each also had a total of 3 spears, some of which were thrown but recoverable.

In addition to the kobolds’ gear, the chest is filled with trinkets and collected valuables. It holds a bolt of fine silk cloth worth 5 gp, a painting of an adventurer on a horse worth 2 gp, a sack filled with 20 sp, a crystal decanter filled with old, sour wine (the decanter is worth 1 gp but only goblins would find the wine palatable), a ladder feather token, and a minor healing potion.

Meadow requires no trickery - they'll gladly brag that it's a greenscale dragon wyrmling, the best kind of dragon. Big, beautiful dragon. Nobody's ever seen a dragon like this before.

Moving on ...

A gaping pit opens in the floor in the center of this large, natural chamber. On the far side, a ledge overlooks the entry. Atop this ledge is an ornate stone throne that looks entirely out of place for this room. A regal kobold wearing an oversized crown made of fish bones sits atop the throne. “Kill the intruders!” she snarls at the two kobold guards at the foot of the stairs.

This pit in the center of this chamber is 20 feet deep. Heroes attempting to leap across the pit must spend 2 actions and attempt a DC 15 Athletics skill check.

The platform is 10' high and the stairs are difficult terrain.

Meadow hunts her prey and lets two arrows fly, and then sends a devastating insult Yellow's way. The second arrow hits.

The leader sneers at Meadow. "Look, my arrows don't miss!" She casts a spell, and three missiles fly towards Meadow, none of which can be dodged.
