Ahhh keeps going after Blackerly. I get his heart!


there are no guards on the ground outside because recently someone blew a horn inside. All the arrows are coming from two guards per tower in the closest five towers and they all missed because they are trying to subdue rather then kill you.

The group dashes forward after Blackerly. As you approach the front and come to the corner you see the main gates leading out to the right, the inner gate leading into the building leading in, to the right close to you are the dog kennels. Blackerly is passing into the inner gates which are flung open into the jail screaming like someone is chasing him and trying to kill him.

Audi ibn Jad rounds the corner to witness a few things of importance. Firstly, the 1/2 orc sees the main gates leading out to the right.
Now that just might work.

Secondly, the scarred witch doctor sees the inner gate leading into the building leading in.
My friendly excited Aaaggghhh! Close and bar those doors once you get to them. We are going out this way!

And, thirdly, the smiling Orc sees to the right close by are the dog kennels.
Anyone good with dogs? Could maybe sway them to attack the guards if they are loosed?

Nodding his scarred head in obeisance to The Ancestors, the Witch begins making his way toward the main gates.
Anyone interested in leaving.

I wouldn't care about the dogs... I'd probably avoid it. - whispers the "Dwarf" - ... But yes, I'm very much interested in leaving.

The somewhat psychotic-looking creature sounds frustrated that the guards didn't even bother to hear her. Well, maybe her disguise can still be useful within the buildings.

Well, who am I to put myself in the way of a righteous vengeance? Please, feel free to go for him if you want to, but I’d rather flee and come back prepared later. We do have that window. I wonder if that will actually create an egress in the gate?

Audi turns around and heads back toward the front gate.


Grumblejack turns now as you all leave and follows and runs to the inner gate and attempts to yank it up

Grumblejack turns back and comes toward the gate out arrows flying and you can hear Blackerly screaming stop shooting to subdue you idiots these are the most dangerous we have and you hear another say it's the Wardens orders, Sir!

OOC: Thus making Agghh the biggest coward! Isn't brave enough to go fight Blackery on his own! :P lol


You see a se of double doors leading into the gate house itself and these open into the gate house interior and you see both sides have three arrow slits pointing in towards you. Past those doors is a gate leading to a bridge which leads to... Freedom.

We can take our chances in the murder hole and hope we can get outside fast.

He looks at Grumblejack and Aaaggghhh with a wicked smile.
Or we can visit those side doors, murder those inside, and then walk calmly through the main gate? They may have a key also.

Jassie calls out "Move to the side and duck under the murder holes. That way they can only shoot you once." She does so, holding up her shield against the other side.


Jassie blocks the one side and Grumblejack lumbers through the doors and into the gate courtyard towards the way out.

Getting to the far side of the gate you see a gate that is lowered into place and can be raised from the wall above and you see past the gates is a bridge leading to the mainland and freedom!

the ground here is thick stone leading to a dirt bridge which zig zags from the prison to the main land with a roiling sea on either side that looks like it will take a good swim to traverse

You hear from behind you outside the gate doors that you came through Blackerly ordering the guards to close that gate and release the dogs.

She will grab the cloth and place the window. "Dogs won't be able to all go through the window at once." She will slip through once sh'e done that.


While Aggghhh and Grumblejack make a plan a magical window appears on the wall. that takes a standard round and Grumblejack opens the window move action and squeezes through to the other side move action the following round prisoner 1723 jumps through. What does everyone else do?
