Audi grins as the Ancestors are pleased by this carnage.
Following Blackerly seems likely to lead us out.

"I promised I would slowly peel Blackerly's skin off his body, and I try to never break my promises." The catfolk says while she looks over the fallen guards for any useful equipment. Hopefully armor?

quick review: out of 18c to hallway of 18, down the stairs to 17 and from there to 16. Fought to 8 door opened to 10. Blackerly ran and shut the door into 11.

Audi and Aggghhh hear guards scrambling in the distance and yelling to get in there to the horn blowers but it's down the hall so you have a few rounds before reinforcements.

The scarred witch doctor listens to the coming guards, nods to Agghhh and walks boldly into room 10.
Guard noises coming from Northern door of 8? If not, Audi would go there instead.

Augier grips his blade in two hands and advances with Audi.


The noise is coming from down the hall towards the double doors at the end of the hall. You find room ten empty as you walk in. The banner of Bandescar Prison hangs on the eastern wall of this Mess hall. There is a closed door to the north and the door Blackerly went into to the south and then doorway you just passed into room 10.

Talia grabs one of the other daggers, and follows the others, staying in the middle of the group. She was tired of getting attacked, so she opted for a more cautious approach.


So the group moves to the south door where Blackerly went in and you find the door closed (no surprise) when you arrive.

"I can try to unlock it, but somebody else is going through the door first!" The rogue states, before attempting to pick the lock.

Gonna take 10, as this seems a bit important. That gives me a 20 total.

Cue Aghh kicking the door off it's hinges and sending it flying down the hall.

Audi points back out into the main hall.
The Ancestors suggest perhaps locking that main door to delay the guards. We wouldn't want to be interrupted.


When you unlock and the kick the door in you find three cooks in the kitchen and a door leading out of the prison to the side which is flung open. One of the kitchen staff is standing next to the door with a small key ring in their hands with which you might lock the door to hallway 8... Grumblejack meanwhile closes that door and shoves a chair under the door wedging it in place when Abdi makes the suggestion.

As they get to the kitchen, Leralesti searches for a hidden spot, under the eyes of her companions only, and takes the shape of a Dwarf - a very skinny, ugly one.

Get me some clothes, please... - she says, pointing at the cooks - Any medium will do. A little bit of deception will likely give us an edge.


The cook hands you the keys and the apron and another cook grabs a spare pair of pants and a shirt and hands it to you. You also have two bloodied guard uniforms next to the wedged door. This takes one round with the whole group working together.

Audi ibn Jad approaches the cook, holding the keys. The scarred and scary orc smiles holding out his hand.
Your compliance shall be reward.

He takes the keys, hurries out of the room to lock the main doors in the hall.

Once back, Audi winks at Grumblejack.
All in it's proper order, my friend. The Ancestors suggest we follow the asshat.

He points out the opened door.

Augier just snorts at the cooks and follows the others. Besides, their clothing won't fir him.

Grinning like a loon Wiktor dons only the cook's apron, which hangs like a stained banner o'er his lanky frame.

"Wiktor in cooky disguise now. No one vill know!"

As Leralesti takes on a new form, the ghoulish gravedigger chuckles as he squeezes the skinny dwarf's arm with spidery fingers;

"Not much meat on bone dvarf... Like Wiktor. Ve should have snack... fatten up."

She follows along. At least dying at the hands of the guards should be faster.

She turns to Wiktor, "A sword through the gut tends to cause indigestion. Better to celebrate once we are free and away from here."


Outside the open door you see a path to your right and left. In front of you is a garden. You can see interior and exterior guard towers lining the walls with you in between them. You can hear Blackerly screaming as he runs two rounds ahead of you towar the right. Over your shoulder at the back of the prison is a larger and wider circular tower.

For the first time in many, many days you smell the fresh air and feel wind on your faces and see the moon above... high lighting a lot of multiple level arrow slits...

"We should get him before he closes the door." Holding her shield up against the arrow slit, Jassie runs for the door.


Blackerly is outside the castle out the side door from room 11 and running toward the front gate two full rounds ahead of you since you gathered all the gear and took the key back to lock the door

Augghh becomes a freighttrain of fat and uses his Barbarian speed to try to plow down the coward. 40 feet move speed full ahead, toot toot

Audi ibn Jad stops at the opened kitchen door to outside. The 1/2 orc surveys the garden. He sees the interior and exterior guard towers lining the walls. He sees the many, many arrow slits above.

The Witch frowns.
The Ancestors suggest we reach an exterior tower. Perhaps, the window we have been gifted will provide the final egress that we are looking for.

Audi points at the closest tower that fits that way of thinking

He then sighs as his more eager friends begin to sprint after Blackery.
Well, we do suppose a bit of fun is warranted.

The scarred witch doctor asks the Ancestors for Guidance, as he begins to follow the others.

I am thinking the Window will work that way, but still not 100%


so is the whole party running after Blackerly? Let me adjust things a bit. I counted the run and Blackerly comes to the northeast corner of the main jail in one round and passes it around the corner on round two and you see him go around it just as the first of you exit the door

The cook's apron hanging over his gaunt frame, Wiktor grins at the petrified catering staff.

"Ve must be off. Bigger fish to fry, bigger guards to die!"

He brandishes his knife and gives chase...

Aggghhh is out front when Grumblejack comes running out from inside and passes you into the front.

Wiktor comes out as well wearing the cooks outfit running behind Grumblejack and in front of the group and Lerlesti is right there as a thin dwarf who is running with the cook.

The rest of the group comes out in after.

The group notes that the arrows seem to miss a lot. First it's dark. Then is the distance. Then you note that these guards are attempting to subdue you...

please declare actions and also you notice without perception that most of the arrows are going at the ogre

He too screeches out to the hidden archers;

Like MG not sure what else to do apart from bolt after Blackerley and execute the window gambit
