The spell ravages the party. Black Dhougal drops, and the glassworks continue to crack. Why dying 3? You weren't Wounded 1. Should be Dying 2, yes?

Tully pops the blister on the vampire while hastening Crowley. FORT: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (12) + 24 = 36 the fighter dodges all of the spell and then quickly connects for a pair of hits.

Nakapan also dodges the spell and lands a hit of his own. FORT: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (16) + 24 = 40

Both the fighter and the monk find their hits slightly muted in efficacy.

Black Dhougal was indeed wounded 1, becasue he was dying, then lost the dying condition, and then was dying again due to a crit (crit fail, but still a crit). Hence the calculation of Dying 2 to Dying 3.

Quote:

If you lose the dying condition and do not already have the wounded condition, you become wounded 1. If you already have the wounded condition when you lose the dying condition, your wounded condition value increases by 1. If you gain the dying condition while wounded, increase your dying condition value by your wounded value.

The wounded condition ends if someone successfully restores Hit Points to you with Treat Wounds, or if you are restored to full Hit Points and rest for 10 minutes.

The heal spell doesn't remove the wounded condition.

Right. I forgot that Medicine does, but heal does not, because Medicine is dumb.

Esme thinks quickly channeling some energy into her teammate.

Sadlark begins a dirge on the field, hoping for any advantage.

Black Dhougal gets some revenge as he drives a spell of searing light through the progenitor's chest. The vampire staggers, but does not burst into smoke.

Crowley keeps his wits about him, not letting such a small concern as the small amount of blood in his body affect his mood. Knowing he may only have seconds left in this world he does everything possible to save his companions as he attacks the ooze.

The wizard is frustrated at this monster's hale nature--his most effective spells are sure to be resisted. Instead, he reaches into himself, and throws his hand palm-out in front of him. Eldritch energy gathers on the symbol of Pharasma on his robes, then courses down his arm toward the blob.

looking at the 29 that Nakapan hit with, this appears to be a "success." Blob is Sickened 1

Tully infuses the blob with necromantic power. It shudders a bit as the necromancer works his magic.

Crowley takes it all and never misses a beat. He cuts the blob.... and then the unthinkable happens. The cleft deepens as the blob takes the hit and then splits into two completely equally sized blobs! Giving you your third action back if you want to try something else...
