Background:
Antull'hier Voronwe has been studying at the Korvosa Acadamae for several years, having a natural affinity to magic (as well as at least one famous wizard in his bloodline). His initial studies were broad, as most Acadamae students' are, but he gravitated toward necromancy after he overcame the initial repugnance many feel at the thought of raising the dead. Tully (as he asks his friends to call him) began to understand the power of necromancy as a force for restoration and balance, and that animating corpses is really a perversion of the magic. That this aspect has become what the school is now known for has always irked the elf. And the final nail in the coffin was a rather famous Acadamae Archmage openly showing his disdain for the school during one of his standing-room-only seminars; Tully saw all these impressionable wizards being influenced by this bias from a celebrity, and he decided then and there to call himself "a Necromancer" so that he could do his part to bring the school the positive recognition it deserved.

A few years ago, he became attracted to the worship of Pharasma as a natural extension of his beliefs in his specialty school, and he has become what is known as a Soul Warden. His familiar, a crow named Aloysious, is far more potent than most other familiars, and is with Tully constantly, offering his own brand of wisdom when he sees fit.


Physical Description:

Tully has taken to worrying about his appearance more than most of his scholarly bretheren; he realizes the importance of a first impression, and firmly eschews the "dark rob-ed man of mystery and death" look that many younger wizards try to strike. He is always well-groomed, and his robes are light and airy. He always tries to keep a smile on his face, and be approachable and energetic, especially when meeting new people. The spiral that is Pharasma's symbol is ebroidered on his left breast, half again as large as a man's fist, and impossible to miss--especially when it glows in the presence of undead!
