The original floor extends only a few feet past the arched doorway in the western wall. Beyond that, the polished stone has fallen into a deep sinkhole. To the east, a narrow ledge of shattered rubble twenty feet below the original floor connects to a five-foot-high tunnel to the south. Tiny rivulets of blood drip slowly down the shattered walls. The sinkhole drops a further forty feet from this ledge into a foul slurry of rubble, pools of clotting and rotting blood, corpses, and a broken stone statue of a beautiful woman.

In the pit area a pair of horrid looking fiends are literally licking the blood off the walls.[/ooc]

They mutter something to each other as the commotion reaches their room. A second later they turn to attack!

Nakapan rushes over to the door and hits it with a massive Jump Spinning Back Kick. The space beyond is a hallway. Straight ahead it leads to something.... awful. There's also a door to the left.

Tully glances back at the newly-arrived party member. Mister Crowley!! Allow me to ask you later, what, precisely, went on in your head??

Gotcha Tully! Tully brings some extra speed to Crowley's moves and blade.

Sadlark:

CRIT! You hear, of all things, an argument on the other side of the northern doors. It's too faint to make out the words over battle, but it's a female voice and a booming male voice.

Nakapan is highly annoyed with the sticky gross goo slowing him down. He takes a moment to get it off. Or at least enough that it doesn't interfere with his movement. He then lightly floats down into the pit and lays a flurry of punishment onto the fiend.
