Eben TheQuiet |

Eben, I've done the cleric/monk once with someone whose name you will recognize UU. If you want to stick with Irori and have your girl throw hands only... you are all set.
For a little extra 'zing' may I suggest you pick a God/dess with a different favorite weapon? Then you take Weapon Focus with the deity's favored weapon and Crusader's Flurry. Now you can FOB with the weapon. My girl worshipped Shelyn and flurried with her fists and a Glaive for that sweet sweet second line killing action. :D
I could never forget UU! That was one bad-ass lady right there.
I considered Warpriest. However, by taking Tiger Style, I get to flurry with her claws, reinforce my kung-fu concept, AND retain all the Clerical goodness. Especially since Separatist Cleric opens up the Travel domain (super on-theme for my girl) which makes the Dimensional Dervish feat chain available in the mid-levels.
WHAT COULD BE MORE KUNG-FU/WUSHU THAN THAT?!

stormraven |

Yeesh! That's a beast (no pun intended)! I can see it now...
Tigra strolls through town - feral, deadly. The peasants whisper quietly as she passes by with a mixture of fear and awe.
"That's her, I tell ya! The Hellcat of Pan Lung."

Xingxun Zhe |

DMy question... let's say your character is arriving in Absolom?
Xing would have come in by ship. Not a true sailor by profession, but she's spent more than her share of time on a ship's crew.

Eben TheQuiet |

Still looking at Bard archetypes. As much as I love Archaeologist it does hurt a lot to lose versatile performance, and I always feel a little bad not handing out the bennies to the party.
Don't feel like you have to avoid Archaeologist on our behalf. Just pile on that luck-filled, rogue-like goodness! (if you want)

GM Choon |

I agree with Eben on that. There will be clerical buffs, arcane buffs when I get higher level (I <3 Haste), etc. If playing Indiana Jones is your joy, do it.
The shaman kinda walks the line between divine offense and buffs/defense. I can probably fill any holes youall might have with the right prep, so never fear! Mama's got your back!

Sabelina Kinbrace-Valognes |

Sabelina is almost done! I still have to sort some details like gear and do an edit (or two), but the fundamentals are all there.
I also need to add something about personality and background.

Mama Cookie |

I managed to find some time after all! Mama's bones are coming together!
"Aw, man. I thought she was going to pull out some toffee bites."
If I can find a way of getting the Pathfinder Chronicler's "Oh, I have that thingy!" power I'm totally doing it.

stormraven |

Sabelina is almost done!
Outstanding! It looks like you went with the Archaeologist. Nice!
My character will be up today.
Then I'll be quiet for a few days as I finish up some maps (refamiliarizing myself with MapTools) and get the game ready for kick-off and launching the first set of mini-adventures and full adventures.
Thanks to you all for the teamwork and camaraderie to date. Also thanks for your patience as I get this thing kicked off.
If you haven't sent me your preferred travel method, please do!

Senna Proviso |

"I'm not a girl, I'm a force of f%$+ing nature!"
Yash is definitely gonna catch a case of the COOTIES from all these grlz!
Also, Senna is done. I'm going into 'build the campaign' mode. Feel free to talk amongst yourself. I'll give you updates as I go. We should be playing early next week... earlier, if I get inspired to burn the midnight oil.

Mama Cookie |

I'm guessing Senna is a female name. Which means...
"Yash is surrounded by...GIRLS!!!"
Mama Cookie looks around. Oh I know you ain't talkin' about me. I haven't been a girl in a good long while!
The fire-foot fox sitting by her side nods. It's true she says.Hey, nobody asked you. Mama snaps back.
The fox just rolls it's eyes.
That's right, Mama Cookie has a Fox familiar. And she can Talk!

Sabelina Kinbrace-Valognes |

Sabelina is girl enough to make up for all the rest of them, but she won't care about you.
But if you do as she says she'll pretend to be nice.

Xingxun Zhe |

Alright, nearly all female group, Xing should be fully ready.
Though do we have any specific tracking/stat formatting that we want to formalize for DM-ease? (I mean in the “Race” fields and whatnot).

Alright, forgive me, but I just gotta ask...not that I have a problem with it, but you went Wildblooded Sorcerer/Monk and went INT over WIS?!?! I just gotta ask why.

Senna Proviso |

Alright, forgive me, but I just gotta ask...not that I have a problem with it, but you went Wildblooded Sorcerer/Monk and went INT over WIS?!?! I just gotta ask why.
I debated that seriously and it was a close call. If I went with the Empyreal bloodline (WIS based), it synergizes like a boss with Monk and reduces the MAD... and Senna becomes a serious beast with her bow. But the Empyreal spells are 'meh' and they double up on cleric spells that Xing has.
Going with Sage (INT based), doesn't cut into the MAD of monk but INT is way useful and better covers the hole in Knowledge skills plus it gives me a boatload of skill points at every level. On top of that, Sage has some handy abilities and great spells that I want long term. Add to that, I get three free spells at higher levels (equivalent to getting Expanded Arcana three times). In my opinion, getting more spells is the key to making a beast sorcerer and a better asset to the team. It's also why I only play human sorcerers, because the Alternate Fave Class Bonus of a free spell at every level can't be beaten. So, while Empyreal would make Senna a great ZA Monk, and spend her ability points more efficiently, she'd only be a good sorcerer. And we have enough melee damage folks already that my arrows won't tilt the difference. With Sage, Senna is a good (not great) archer, isn't quite as good on her stat efficiency, but she will be an absolute beast of a Sorcerer... and since she is the most dedicated arcane caster, it's where she brings the most value to the team.
That's my logic. Sorry for the wall of text but :D you asked.

Mama Cookie |

Mama is a strong support character. She's not going to be doing a lot of damage, but that Helpful plus a longspear Aid Another means our melee line will always have someone to watch out for them and the back line will always have a screener. Even if she's about 3' tall and old as dirt.

Sabelina Kinbrace-Valognes |

I'm a little surprised at how sturdy Sabelina has turned out to be. She should be a solid melee combatant, very good while her luck rounds hold out, but still perfectly fine without them.
She won't be as good at knowledge checks as a standard bard due to the points she's putting into social and rogue skills, but she'd only be competing with Senna in that area anyway. Over time bardic knowledge will add up to help as well.
I did come to a point last night where I thought to myself "you've managed to take 2 classes and combine them to make an alt-slayer. Congratulations you fool". But Sabelina does have her spell casting on top of the rest and I'm a fan of the bard spell list.

Senna Proviso |

Some belated comments about stuff up-thread. Sorry on the delay, I'm bouncing around between a lot of things trying to get the campaign stuff squared away to my liking.
@Sabelina/RD - I'm not sure I'd look to Senna as anyone's conscience but I'm happy to give that a whirl. :)
@Xing/Eben & team - We can vote on it, but I'm in favor of having the stripped down status bar like you see just below Senna's name. It makes it easier for me as a DM to have that data where I don't have to search for it. As a player, I always try to make things easy on the DM. The less they have to look up, the easier it is on everyone. So for my characters I always use a combat spoiler and status spoiler for every combat round, like so:
RANGE: All targets I select in 30' radius
DURATION: Instant
EFFECT: All Targets take Electrical DAM: 16d8 ⇒ (3, 7, 5, 7, 4, 2, 1, 6, 1, 5, 7, 5, 8, 3, 8, 3) = 75 + Stunned for 1 rnd unless:
FORT Save vs DC:30 for 1/2 DAM + No Stun
8th (2): x
7th (3): xx
6th (4): xx
5th (6):
4th (6): x
3rd (6): xx
2nd (7): x
1st (7):
Variable Slot (1): x
Dancing Lights (3):
Detect Secret Doors (1):
Spell Effects:
Ascendant Mage Armor - +6 AC, 50% critical hit or sneak attack becomes normal hit - 15 hours
See Invisibility - 150 mins
CON -9 = 4 CON - 32 MAX HP
As you can see, I also spell out Saves, effects, and even link to any spells used. In the Status field, I show used spells, current effects, basically anything I think the DM may need to know.
I'm not saying we should have those spoilers as a standard across the board, but this is how I roll. And I don't find it too much effort because I store all that data (with the appropriate tags) in a cheat sheet for my character with every spell, attack roll, etc. It's a bit of work up front but then it is just a maintenance issue. YMMV.

Sabelina Kinbrace-Valognes |

Alright, BAP information is done and added to Sabelina's profile. Some character art added ("because appearances are everything" so says Sabelina). I also fixed the number of 1st level spells known, forgot to adjust that.
I believe all that's left is the nitty gritty of minor gear purchases.
I hope Sabelina is as annoying to everyone as I hope she will be when the rubber hits the road!

Sabelina Kinbrace-Valognes |

@Senna: Mostly Sabelina's problem is she's a glory hound who sometimes needs help keeping perspective. Senna seems to be quite the opposite.

Senna Proviso |

Ah. Yep, you read Senna correctly. She’s seen the downside of notoriety so she tries to fly under the radar as much as possible. Their differing perspectives could make for some fun RP dynamics.

Xingxun Zhe |

My background, appearance, and personality will be up this weekend.
Short version: my life was hard and I have trust issues, though Iro-Shu offers me a path to self-realization and self-perfection … so im on that journey.

Xingxun Zhe |

I also like to do a "Status" spoiler in my combat posts, as it both keeps the DM updated on your current HP and stats, but also puts a placeholder for how ou were doing at that point in the combat if we need to come back to it for any reason. (That's as opposed to putting those more "fluid" stats like HP and stuff in the "race" line of your profile. The downfall there is that if we need to go back and reconcile anything — and your status has changed since that post — it can be hard to 'rebuild' where a character was at at that moment. But that's just me.) I'm down with whatever people want to do.
Secondarily, is there any interest in tying folks' backgrounds together - in big or small ways? I don't know how we're going to be thrown together, but I'm game for folks having met previously or something.
Let me know.
Thirdly, SR, do you want to work with us for specifically what events happened directly before game start? I had an interesting thought for Xing, but obviously I want to work with you to make sure it works for the game opening you're creating.

Senna Proviso |

I dislike it when you are asked to maintain your running HP total in the Race line. It takes more steps to go into your profile and edit it (potentially for each combat round) then to drop the info in a Status spoiler. And I agree with your point that going back after the fact to audit things is nearly impossible.
Re: 'tying folks background together'... I'd suggest you not go that route. This is more of a 'strangers on a train' scenario. There will be opportunities immediately upon start for PCs to interact.
I'm good with you guys deciding events that happened before the game starts. You can make that as vague or specific as you like. And if you have something in mind that would require my input as a DM, I'm happy to work with you. Just PM me.
That said, here is a bit more about the game if you feel the need to determine why you are where you are...
At the start of the game, all of you - for reasons of your own - find yourself traveling (on foot, wagon, or boat) along the coast of the Inner Sea, somewhere near the border of Taldor and Andoran.
Why you are there and what circumstances brought you... I leave to you to decide. You can specify it now, if you like to nail down your background, or leave it vague so you can amend your history as part of later RP opportunities.
So, Mama Cookie, for example could go with:
Specific: Cookie was heading to Andoran to attend the Festival of Feasts, a prestigious Halfling festival/competition of cookery skills and unsurpassed eating.
Vague: Cookie joined a small caravan heading to Taldor for a chance to see the world before she got too old.
It's up to you. My recommendation is that you keep it somewhat vague or, at the very least, don't commit to something that your character must do... i.e. don't go with something like "Yash was heading to Andoran to witness the birth of his first nephew, a sacred event no half-orc would miss." because, yeah, you are going to miss it.

Xingxun Zhe |

Excellent. For this first section while SR is running things, I’ll get that Status spoiler set up, and have default numbers in the race line(s).
The captain kicked her off crew and is looking to drop her at first port.
Let me know if this works. I’m likely to have her start with a black eye and busted lip and stuff. And I guess anyone else who came in on the ship would at least have heard of the scuff-up.
