Last person to get a BFF has to braid Yash's back hair...

HP:30 | AC:15 ; T:15 ; FF:13 ; CMD:21 (23 vs grapple) | Fort:+5 ; Ref:+6 ; Will:+7 | Init:+6 ; PER:+8 (Low-Light)

Psh ... he's first on Xing's list.

Female HP:32 | AC:17 ; T:13 ; FF:15 ; CMD:11 | Fort:+7 ; Ref:+8; Will:+9 +2 vs fear, -2 vs traps/hazards | Init:+2 ; PER:+13

There's a LOT of BFF talk going on in here. Next, folks'll be braiding each others' hair.

Honey, of you give me half a chance I'll have all of you combed and braided in two shakes!

Oops, forgot how we were doing HP: 1d5 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Female HP:32 | AC:17 ; T:13 ; FF:15 ; CMD:11 | Fort:+7 ; Ref:+8; Will:+9 +2 vs fear, -2 vs traps/hazards | Init:+2 ; PER:+13

So, level is detailed above, but I'll be away from my home computer for a couple more days so the changes won't reflect in the sheet until I get back home. Editing a character profile sheet on mobile is just an awful experience.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Been there, done that… hated every minute of it. Don’t worry about your posted profile.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Mama Cookie's sheet is updated. Her kisses now make boo-boos better and her cook-pots have learned to stir themselves!

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Way to go, Cookie!

*pats the forum boards*

Did you have a nice nap, there, little buddy?

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

I told Paizo's mom that was scotch not a good substitute for formula... and this is what happens.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Is everyone OK with Nick taking a re-roll on those HP? He's a little squishy for a front-liner.

Votes so far:
Cookie: ?
Sabelina: Yes
Senna/SR: Yes
Xing: ?
Yash: ?

Or we can make it totally fair and everyone gets a second roll and takes the best result.

Female HP:32 | AC:17 ; T:13 ; FF:15 ; CMD:11 | Fort:+7 ; Ref:+8; Will:+9 +2 vs fear, -2 vs traps/hazards | Init:+2 ; PER:+13

Sure!

Yeah, take the re-roll! Take a re-roll!

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Thanks, guys, I appreciate the support of a fellow player. Yash roll some decent HP because a squishy front-liner is never a good thing to see.

HP 30/30 AC 17, Touch 12, Flatfooted 15, CMD 18, Saves F +9, R +6, W +8 [+2 vs. enchantments]; Perception +7, Sense Motive +1; Init +2 | Status: Normal

Hp reroll: 1d5 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Thanks guys. I am now less twinkie-like.

I don't know. I imagine there's a certain sugar-like gooey-ness to your insides.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

...and crab meat!

HP: 36/36 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | F: +4, R: +7, W: +4 (+7 vs Charm/Compulsion) | Init: +5 | Perc: +7, SM: +4 | Speed 30' | Luck 9/9 | Panache 6/6

Sorry, the dogs kept bugging me after I made the perception roll and it took me a while to finish the post. New stuff in it but it about three or four posts up now.

HP: 36/36 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | F: +4, R: +7, W: +4 (+7 vs Charm/Compulsion) | Init: +5 | Perc: +7, SM: +4 | Speed 30' | Luck 9/9 | Panache 6/6

The place feels very Brigadoon or Hotel California.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Well when I pitched it to MGM Studios I said "It's like Brigadoon meets Hotel California as written by H.P. Lovecraft..."

[joking!]

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Thanks for your patience with the wall o text narrative bits and monologues. We should be at the end of those except for setting the scene for new areas and nice bits of color. I just didn’t want to drag out the scene setting and getting you the basics of Threshold.

Sorry for my absence, team. I’m still here. There’s been an uptick in client demands and a downtick in sleep. I’m not heavy on extra brain space at the moment. Let me catch my breath, then I’ll dive back in.

alright, I kicked all of my clients in their demanding nuts and then washed the battle-fatigue down with a bottle of questionable red wine. I'm back in the saddle.

again, sorry folks. Hope my pause didn't cause any undue stress. Let's discover Threshold!

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Eben…
Is…
SPARTA!!!!

Male Elf

Spiritual Weapon specifically mentions it's based off of Wisdom and near as I can tell there has been no official changing for other classes with access to it. Most seem to think it's fine to use your primary casting stat when casting the spell, so that's the way I went with Yash and him being Charisma based, but if anyone thinks I should stick to using Wisdom as mentioned in the spell, please let me know.

Spiritual Weapon

"It uses your base attack bonus (possibly allowing it multiple attacks per round in subsequent rounds) plus your Wisdom modifier as its attack bonus."

That was a Core spell, but Oracle was an added class, correct? I'm good with that shift. It makes sense.

Male Elf

Yes...and yes.

At the moment, it's a spell-like ability from my Bloodrager archetype, but I can/may select it on my Oracle side.

Gotcha. Yeah, I dont know why it was written in that specific way (or why it wasn't clarified/modified later). They could just as easily have said "your casting stat".

It makes even more sense to use Charisma if it's a spell-like ability. Those usually are keyed to Charisma, anyway, right?

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

I have no objection to that change as well.

Female HP:32 | AC:17 ; T:13 ; FF:15 ; CMD:11 | Fort:+7 ; Ref:+8; Will:+9 +2 vs fear, -2 vs traps/hazards | Init:+2 ; PER:+13

Ya. Spell-likes are usually tied to your primary casting stat.

HP: 36/36 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | F: +4, R: +7, W: +4 (+7 vs Charm/Compulsion) | Init: +5 | Perc: +7, SM: +4 | Speed 30' | Luck 9/9 | Panache 6/6

That's half of Sabelina's panache used up, but I'm gonna have to open the engine up and see how a Swashbuckler does on all cylinders sometime. Why not now?

Female HP:32 | AC:17 ; T:13 ; FF:15 ; CMD:11 | Fort:+7 ; Ref:+8; Will:+9 +2 vs fear, -2 vs traps/hazards | Init:+2 ; PER:+13

Swashbucklers going full tilt are scary

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

There are definitely some interesting mechanics going on.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

I love Cookie as a blood-thirsty cheerleader. :D

HP: 36/36 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | F: +4, R: +7, W: +4 (+7 vs Charm/Compulsion) | Init: +5 | Perc: +7, SM: +4 | Speed 30' | Luck 9/9 | Panache 6/6

More like some of the parents I've seen a Little League games.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

yowza!

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Congrats on the battle, guys! You are definitely punching well above your weight class. That was a CR:4+ (verging on CR:5) encounter. For five 2nd level characters, that is doing some work!

HP:30 | AC:15 ; T:15 ; FF:13 ; CMD:21 (23 vs grapple) | Fort:+5 ; Ref:+6 ; Will:+7 | Init:+6 ; PER:+8 (Low-Light)

Lol. Nice work, guys.

Male Elf

That was pretty intense.

(Dem three's yo) spoken in Manhattan.

Male Elf

I don't think Senna is fully leveled up to 2nd...

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Really? How so?

Male Elf

Your listed base attack bonus is 1, should be 2, unless you didn't go unchained monk...which I think you did since your FOB doesn't have any penalties...

BAB 2
Dex 2
Weapon Focus 1

should be +5, or +6 with point blank

Also CMB should be +3 and CMD should be 18/16

...but I could be wrong.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

ZA Monk is regular not uMonk and my FOB went to +0/+0 at 2nd level from -1/-1 at 1st.

I’ll double check everything in HeroLab and make sure I updated my profile and cheat sheet to match. Thanks for looking out for me.

Male Elf

Ah, ok. Ignore me. I'll shut up now.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

LOL! No worries. I appreciate the second set of eyes. While HeroLab has gotten more accurate over the years, they have made errors and I may have copied data over incorrectly. Wouldn't be the first time.

Rat Bastard, Cheeky Monkey, Sly Fox, <insert anthropomorphic animal metaphor here>

Cookie, do you want to address the 'no familiars' sign or should I have Senna act on her own?

Female HP:32 | AC:17 ; T:13 ; FF:15 ; CMD:11 | Fort:+7 ; Ref:+8; Will:+9 +2 vs fear, -2 vs traps/hazards | Init:+2 ; PER:+13

I sent Lady with Senna's pig. Animal Adventure!

Boar | HP 15 | AC:15 / T:12 / FF:14 | F+7 R+4 W+4 | Per +7 Init +1

Ya know, Lady could use her own alias... just sayin'.

HP:30 | AC:15 ; T:15 ; FF:13 ; CMD:21 (23 vs grapple) | Fort:+5 ; Ref:+6 ; Will:+7 | Init:+6 ; PER:+8 (Low-Light)

Familiar Sign plan: nail it up on the inside of an outhouse?

I meant t respond to this, but got pulled int work stuff (and then forgot). I loved the descriptions. You know I love me some colorful narrative immersion. (just take a look at my character intro descriptions. Some have called them excessive. I call them fun.)
