cab I make a humble suggestion for Evelyn? use a spiked gauntlet instead of a light mace...saves having to switch weapons...yes it's less potential damage, but can't be disarmed/dropped and you always have it ready....

THat could be a good idea, and add to the visual of a Besmaran piratess...
Could a spiked gauntlet be made of cold iron (or other material) just like another weapon?
Would she have to remove the gauntlet for DD, or other skills needing precise hand movement?
Would a spiked gauntlet be an hindrance to cast spells? (I plan to dip a few levels in witch)

Hey, fyi, I've played this adventure in core mode several years ago, circa 2016. I don't really remember the plot or any of the encounters, so I don't think I could spoil it if I wanted to. But just to be above board. I have not played it in regular mode.

OK, I'm going to be taking one week off from my online games. I'm at a point now from burn-out and being tired of covid stuff in real life where my online games have become a chore rather than fun. I'm going to take one week off. Then I'll be back, hopefully in a better place, and we'll resume the game. I'm very sorry for needing to do this. Kaervek does realize that his spell was resisted.
He could try the spell again (using his Arcane Bond ability), if you allow it.

Actually, the sailor was my intended target as I did not see a resolve of Shirin's attack which might have finished the gnoll anyway (and also to avoid firing into melee).
But this outcome is just fine with me, too.

If we need a roadblock against that gnoll, I can enlarge Wesley as soon as he enters the area of the main mast.
Or would this affect your spell area, Carlin?

Please let me know if there are any problems with the reporting or chronicle sheets. I'll mark this campaign inactive when I hear everyone has their sheet or in a few days, whichever comes first.

DC = 15 + item’s caster level (CL 3 for potion of CMW) = 18
Spellcraft + Elven Magic: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 10 + 2 = 23 Success! :-)
