Wow, that's a solid set! I haven't been active on the boards in a couple years, but have been looking to get back to it, and I love both pulp games and the old school Forgotten Realms!
Time to put together an idea.
Oh, and a couple quick questions. I didn't see them mentioned anywhere, but are you using either Background Skills or Elephant in the Room feat tax rules?
Neither. I like background skills, but since this is a one off module, I figure they won't come into play.

EltonJ |

No, it's fine. Your submission is fine, Rolandor.
Characters being considered so far
* Tadeka Montar -- Monk
* The Shaman of Aaaaaaaag -- Shaman
* Roland Paxton -- Cleric of Oghma
* Hanuhpah -- Shaman
* Tyug’u Yakshi -- Alchemist
* Ria daughter of Laerian -- Fighter/Rogue (Unchained)
* Chui Aolu Dendo of Ubtao -- Druid
* Jaidu -- Gunslinger
* Rolandor Thessalya -- Ranger
All seventh level. Looking for 42 levels total in the party (seven characters). Still waiting on others to put up their characters.

I fancy playing a half-mad melee brute with an animal companion mount, whipping through the jungle and laughing like a loon. Chult has dinosaurs right... xD Before I get too invested in this, would I regret a large mount (narrow corridors and all that)? A halfling riding something thematic could be fun too.

EltonJ |

Thank you. It's taken a bit as I'm recovering from surgery so I hope to get something completed in time. I'm thinking two-bladed sword fighter or a wizard.
Neat. I had someone submit two characters for this classic module. So don't be afraid to submit two if you can't make up your mind.

"The Lucky Halfling" |

It's been awhile since I've ventured into the Forgotten Realms. Not sure if I'll get up a character, but I'll at least throw some bones to get the process started.
Roll 1: 6 + 3d6 ⇒ 6 + (3, 3, 1) = 13 - 1 = 12
Roll 2: 6 + 3d6 ⇒ 6 + (6, 6, 5) = 23 - 5 = 18
Roll 3: 6 + 3d6 ⇒ 6 + (6, 4, 2) = 18 - 2 = 16
Roll 4: 6 + 3d6 ⇒ 6 + (6, 1, 1) = 14 - 1 = 13
Roll 5: 6 + 3d6 ⇒ 6 + (5, 4, 3) = 18 - 3 = 15
Roll 6: 6 + 3d6 ⇒ 6 + (1, 1, 6) = 14 - 1 = 13

Actually, I hate to do this as I'm pretty enamored with the character I came up here, but I think I'm going to withdraw my submission. I'm pretty sure I'm going to DM something on here and I don't want to overburden myself and have to drop something after making a commitment. So I'm going to do the responsible thing and bow out.
I'm sure I'll regret it, as this sounds like it's going to be a blast. Good luck to everyone applying!

Here's my submission. I've not given Cade or Tiddles much in the way of gear. Note Mad Dog Barbarian isn't in the list of sources, if that's a problem I can always switch to Mounted Fury (APG) and I suppose take Boon Companion.
Everything. Their ship was wrecked in a storm off the coast of Chult, they lost all their possessions, half the crew died of malnutrition, the others along with Filbert got eaten by a T-Rex and Cade lost his grip on sanity as he wandered aimlessly in the Jungle, tormented by hunger and mosquitoes… The Ido took pity on Cade and taught him how to survive and his fearlessness won him a certain degree of respect, although when he announced that he was going to tame a leopard and start riding it everyone assumed he’d be dead within the season.
Perhaps Tymora smiled upon Cade’s plan or maybe Beshaba lost the bet for somehow Cade managed to (almost) tame the most ferocious big cat anyone had ever seen and named it Tiddles. Much to the Ido’s amazement Cade was seen riding Tiddles as if it was a pony and not a leopard that weighed ten times as much as him.

Here is my submission for this Warren Connery Two bladed sword fighter.
Looks good.
okey dokey...just wanted to double check...i know the gods changed from edition to edition...
Yep, 3rd edition. Powers & Pantheons could be a big help for you.
If it makes a difference; Jaidu is ranged melee.
Meaning he will be provoking a lot...lol.
Well, I'm looking for 3 fighters, one wizard, one cleric, and one druid. Thief is extra. We got a lot of druids (Shamans) and a lot of fighter types.

This is Linnea the Diviner, I finally found time to work on my character! I rolled stats on page 2. Presenting Nuriyah al-Hariq, fire genasi (aka ifrit) swashbuckler, formerly of Calimshan. Her stats and fluff are on this profile page. Haven't quite got her gear sorted, but everything else should be there.

Boy, she's mighty. A fire genasi (aka ifrit) works well.
Think I might have to back out. The 1 per day post rate seemed doable, but for the past few days I haven't managed to get anything done. Sorry, good luck on the game.
Sorry you had to back out, and thanks for the good luck!

How long before you pick?
I'm interested.
Do you want a full character? Or just bare bones ie rolls and such but skills and gear can be fleshed out later?

Big fan of the classic 1e games, and I've never actually played or GM'd this one! I've got a 7th level character I made some time ago, but the adventure fizzled. Let's see if he gets luckier this time around! I'll stick with the same character concept, but get him into a Forgotten Realms background instead of classic Greyhawk.

lol cause it isnt a classic 1e game but a classic 3e game.
Not so, my friend! This module was released LONG before 3rd edition was a twinkle in the eye of WOTC D&D. Originally released in 1981 by TSR as I1. Definitely AD&D 1st edition - and yep, I've still got those books on my shelf! :)
Didn't have that year memorized or anything, had to look that up. But I do recall seeing that very fine art cover when I was a kid myself! Hell, I might even have that module in a box somewhere in storage. I collected those adventure modules like comic books, even if I never got around to playing them.

My Ranger (Skirmisher) with a level of Barbarian is ready to go I think. Just need to roll HP - wanted to know if it's the usual max HP at 1st level and rolling randomly thereafter. Considering the 'pulp' setting, maybe a minimum on the die if one rolls really poorly?
And, asking for my animal companion, do they follow the same rules?
