GM Sedoriku |
Welcome! Most of you should be coming over from table 1. But now would be a good time to get your PFS information for chronicles later.
Your Name (as you want it on the chronicle):
Character Name:
PFS Number:
Character Number:
Faction: (You won't gain any reputation for this)
Downtime Task: (You do get 8 days of downtime, though)
Downtime Roll:
GM Sedoriku |
Also just in case the fourth player wants to make their own character, I'm using the following rules for character creation:
1-We'll use the basic character creations rules in the CRB, you'll be level 5.
2-You should have a pirate/sea theme or reason to be a pirate as the scenario assumes you worked on the same ship, the Brass Bird.
3-Given the pregens also have these options, you can all choose one uncommon or rare character option (including ancestry, heritage, feats, classes, items you don't have access to, and so on.) For example, a sprite race is okay but all other options should be of common availability.
4- For wealth you can either pick permanent items (4th: 1, 3rd: 2, 2nd: 1, 1st: 2 and 50 gp) or a lump sum (270 gp) All PFS legal items are okay with one exception, no bludgeoning weapons.
5- I'm going to limit it to PFS sanctioned materials. So most of the AP things probably won't work, and the playtests that haven't had final releases also don't. If you absolutely think something fits and you want to use it go ahead and ask.
Gryndle Slitherfins |
Your Name (as you want it on the chronicle):Agent Eclipse
Character Name:Gryndle Slitherfins
PFS Number:54329
Character Number:2007
Faction: (You won't gain any reputation for this)
Downtime Task: (You do get 8 days of downtime, though)
Downtime Roll:
Is downtime done by our character here (modifier wise) or the one it would be applied to?
GM Sedoriku |
I believe it would be the one the sheet is applied to. As there wouldn't be any formalized way of ensuring that a Campaign mode character wasn't given deity level stats and a DC at level 20 or something absurd like that.
GM Sedoriku |
Maps are ready! Please add a token for your character to them on slide 2 and then figure out your marching order position on slide 3 and add yourselves to the map on slide 4.
Also I have a skill macros page that should help me run things a bit faster, it might take a little time to fill out but it can be a life saver for the GM.
I'll add links to both in my tagline once I have a moment to mess around with a URL shortener. The Witchwar Legacy table has finished, but I still don't have room for 6 Google Drive links.
Otherwise I'm thinking we are good to go for a start in 5 1/2 to 6 hours. If you don't have a finished character sheet yet that is okay, we won't be starting in earnest for a little bit yet.
Corvus Emberfog |
Your Name (as you want it on the chronicle): Chadius
Character Name: Swayaah Maeleranti
PFS Number: 133608
Character Number: 2003
Faction: Radiant Oath
Downtime Task: Underworld Lore
Downtime Roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
GM Sedoriku |
Now that is a fun combo. I'm not entirely sure what Azil was planning on going with, but that sounds like it could be fun. What mystery are you thinking about with the oracle?
Matt Morris |
I think I'm going Life. I've been thinking of playing a life oracle, but not sure I wanted to commit to it, so it's a fun opportunity to try it out. I thought about Tempest as well, but that has a lot of thematic overlap with Corvus.
I'm putting the character together now. Looks like I'm going to do elf suli to make the alchemist dedication work--that 14 Int on an oracle is a little tricky.
Axutain |
So i'm going down the creation list and the lizardfolk i'm looking at making is gonna be the unnerving deep diver who brings up hauls from sunken ships. He generally gives off just a creepy reptilian vibe which intimidates people.
He knows how to keep a group quiet and is oddly persuasive and claims to be able to speak with reptiles(yay reptile speaker ancestory).
Writing him up now so ya'll will be able to look over the actual profile. Soon
Gryndle Slitherfins |
Gryndle would have been the quartermaster and a goblin with the features of a shark. Perhaps a blessing or maybe a curse but he always claimed his mother was a grindylow and his father just ate a lot of sharks but that was after drinking. Quick to action and also tends to be quite intimidating as one would expect from a shark headed goblin.
Axutain |
Ok, so when picking wealth permanent items can someone give me a bit of advice here, cause we're only allowed a single uncommon/rare choice, mine being that i'm a lizardfolk. But i'm having difficulty finding non-uncommon items that fall into the 'common' tier of items. Or are our wealth items an exception of this rule?
Axutain |
Your Name (as you want it on the chronicle): Azil
Character Name: Axutain
PFS Number: 180851
Character Number: 2003
Faction: (You won't gain any reputation for this)
Downtime Task: (You do get 8 days of downtime, though) Underworld lore(using my other characters' stats?)
Downtime Roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
I'm not sure how the applying the stuff from this chronicle works if you need the info for my character outside of this campaign/scenario lemme know and i'll toss his info down. Axutain is officially ready for play I believe, but since he's like my 3rd character i've sat down and made in 2e if anyone would like to give him a once over that'd be awesome.
GM I've taken some liberty with the Jellyfish lamp and stuffed them into a hooded lantern, the idea being he carries around a small school of the jellyfish in a hooded lantern that's been modified to hold sea water(which is refreshed from time to time of course) Basically making a dim lantern(since they work as candles) he can use during underwater exploration. If this isn't ok to do then I understand, i just thought it'd be a creative use of the 50gp
GM Sedoriku |
Nwoape, swimming is something you do for a living and the waters here are placid.
GM Sedoriku |
Sorry for making you wait guys. Today was a day to test a new vtt for a game I run every other Saturday and I wasn't able to post during prep and am exhausted and need to go to bed. I'll update this first thing tomorrow morning.

Hey, message from Agent Eclipse AKA Gryndle. They're in one of my other games and let me know that they are having some medical issues. They have been having a difficult time accessing a computer, but are hoping to be back in a few days.
GM Sedoriku |
Thank you for the update on Gryndle, I had been wondering if they were okay.
On the other hand, sorry for the wait guys. Life and work has been busy recently. This weekend should be better but Sunday I'm not likely going to be posting anything, but otherwise I want to keep pushing this along.

I just realized a couple of things over on table 1 of this.
First, I haven't handed out hero points at all this game. Axutain and Gryndle truly deserved soem for that first snake fight. Finished a fight in one round. S.B. and Corvus both should have earned one for figuring out the armory 'riddle' and the next room's puzzle in no time flat.
Second, the weapons in the armory given by the scenario are laughably terrible compared to what a 5th level character should generally be carrying to the point there is no point to the room. I'm going to up everything to being a +1 potency rune with an added trait of one sort or another. I need to think about this some more later (as work is closing up and I need to go home for the weekend.)

Sorry for the absence work has been kicking my butt with 12s and I'm working on the details to get a new car tomorrow. I'll try to post later today, if I don't get around to it bot me for the round axutain will try his usual intinidate(can skeletons even get scared) attack combo.
Corvus Emberfog |
This adventure was a lot of fun. Thanks for putting up with my tiny Sprite, everyone. Thanks for running it, GM!
Axutain |
This was an awesome little adventure, a shame it ends so quickly. Really enjoyed seeing what low-mid level play has to offer in 2E. And some reptilian shenanigans.
GM thank you for being awesome and allowing me to jump in on the table, how does credit work on this one. It's just assigned to the character I picked at the beginning(ie Jei'balt)?
GM Sedoriku |
S.B. I don't seem to have your PFS information
Also Gryndle you never did give me a Downtime roll.

I completely missed resonding to this. You get a 4xp chronicle, the equivalent of 10 treasure bundles for that character's level, and 8 days of downtime. You don't gain any reputation with your faction though. Once I have some reporting information for S.B. I'll get this reported asap. Also if anyone wants to change who gets the chronicle that is fine too! The reporting information for this specifies that the character is chosen 'when the GM signs the chronicle' not when we start like a Pregen (also character death doesn't carry over, I believe, not that it mattered here.)

Shoot missed that you were applying this to Axutain himself. if you are planning on making him an actual PFS character in the future (when you get the AcP for an Iruxi boon) then I can fill out the chronicle for a 1st level Axutain, or you could apply this to any existing/new PFS character at any level. They'd get the full GP of a scneario but need to roll their downtime with their own stats.

Same for Gryndle here. I'll need to know if these details are okay with you before I can report this table.

Lol well depending g on how this final fight of tqrnbreqker's goes I might have to swap which character it applies to. I got bodied by the polar bear and well it's got some chunk to it.
It goes down surprisingly fast though. My ranger was downed in one or two turns cause of a crit on an AoO and the thing was dead in the next round or two.
GM Sedoriku |
Just make sure you make a PFS 2 character with your 2007 number or this can't be reported properly. Unless I'm mistaken and such a thing can be done?
Gryndle Slitherfins |
I did it in 1E but I have never done it with 2E. It would have credit once I made the character but I can do some placeholders real quick just to make sure.
Edit: Made.
GM Sedoriku |
Alrighty! I made up chronicle sheets!
You can find them here! Let me know if there are any mistakes or problems, I'll update them ASAP.
Corvus Emberfog |
Thanks for the game and the chronicles, everyone!
