My only character in this level range is in another game that won't finish in time for Outpost VII I can run a 8th level pregen, I'm waiting to see if we get a 4th player to see which pregen would be best to play.

I'll try to find a fourth, but this may be the full group. If you need an NPC pregen, my usual stance is that any player may control them (whoever logs on first on their turn should take that turn) and I won't do anything with them other than bot them if no one else does.

Ok, Think I'll play Navasi, I'll need a day to get her set sheet set up. I got 6 games going so if you want to take a few days to look for a 4th player I don't mind waiting.

If we need to run another pregen to fill the party maybe Obozaya? I'm thinking a solider has fairly obvious actions making it easier to bot?

How do you do a day job roll for a 1st-level character using a 8th-level pregen?

Thats the roll as my 1st level character
Profession Lawyer: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

When the character playing is not the one receiving the chronicle, you roll whatever the character receiving the chronicle would. Your check is correct.

☑ The Starfinders’ mission is to bring back knowledge from Gadrathar Fortress for the Coenocopi Foundation. They complete their primary objective if they perform at least three of the following tasks: interact non-violently with the Gadrath, succeed at the Threefold Trial, successfully catalog three or more of the five core chambers, retrieve an intact copi heartpearle from the garden, or retrieve the copaxinite helm.

☑ The PCs complete their secondary objective if they defeat the Master in combat and earn their gift, becoming the inheritors of Gadrathar Fortress.

☑ Advocates: If the PCs succeed at all three of the Threefold Trials or earn the Master’s gift, they have helped improve relations between the Gadrath and the Coenocopi Foundation, and each PC earns 1 additional Reputation with the Advocates faction
