Entering my character through pathbuilder 2e I believe I made my character with major flaws. Is it ok for me to update my stats?

Absolutely, particularly since we haven't much gotten into any game mechanics yet. Mistakes happen and it is often best to simply address them when they are discovered.


For future reference. i noticed you put a nature DC of 18. could you explain what i can do with that. i know it is a difficulty check of 18. so i would roll a d20 (+) my nature modifier, before the athletic check?

Nature,Arcana, Occult, and Religion have the recall knowledge ability. If you roll and hit DC 18 then you know the info under the spoiler and can open it. And yes, usually it's smart to roll the info checks first because it may help other checks needed.

I tried to do a quick lookup on drawing a weapon but couldn't find much. Pls let me know GM Valen if I cannot do this regarding having a sling on my belt or begging able to draw it with one action.

Drawing a weapon is one Interact action

Correct. The Interact action is the one used for drawing a weapon as well as obtaining any other "stored object". This is one of those times where the new terminology can make things confusing or, at least, harder to find. I appreciate the desire to make a single mechanic that covers a variety of situations, from retrieving a potion to drawing a weapon to picking a coin up off the ground, but the broad language does make it difficult to search for, particularly as earlier editions had different and specific mechanics for drawing a weapon.

Not automatically. Unlike the frightened condition, enfeebled does not automatically reduce each round.

Per Conditions: "Conditions are persistent. Whenever you’re affected by a condition, its effects last until the condition’s stated duration ends, the condition is removed, or terms dictated in the condition itself cause it to end."

Unfortunately, in this case, there is neither a stated end of duration nor terms dictated in the condition to cause it to end. Absent a restoration spell, there is no way to remove the condition during the quest.

Fortunately, at the end of the scenario, the condition will be removed.

Per the Organized Play Guide:
"The Pathfinder Society takes care of its members by removing most ongoing
nonpermanent negative conditions and repairing agents’ damaged gear to the condition it was in at the start of the scenario."

For full disclosure, Faethor is using claws. I was talking about making room for Dorian to get in the corner so he could use his hammer. 1 of that damage was cold damage though, maybe that'll help.

Ah, yes. I was getting a little over eager, I suppose. Resistance 4, so ONLY the 1 point of cold goes through.

As cold makes a difference, I tried to find the source for the damage.

Chill touch deals negative energy to living creatures or undead. What is Faethor using to produce cold?

I think that when you stabilize with a hero point you're not supposed to gain the wounded condition, is that right? Probably won't matter here though, this one will come down to Dorian and Gromfur. Get him guys!

Gromfur’s roll was for damage, not to hit. The construct needs to make a Reflex save.

You can feed a potion to someone else. Pulling out a potion, or anything really, is an interact action I think. So one action for that. Drinking or feeding would be another action.

That thing only had 1 hp left didn't it? That sucker was pretty tough and the dice didn't go our way, but nice job everyone. I hope Gromfur wasn't scared off of Pathfinder because of that, it usually doesn't get quite that hairy. I hope to see you around.

This scenario was a very tough fight for low-level PCs. You should be proud of that your PCs survived and that you have quite a story to tell!

Sorry I bailed I felt my character was useless so I wasn't really feeling like me posting could make a difference in the outcome. But I think the bot did better than what I could've done.
