Instead Zupon just obscures his own view of those above with the light. Offering Braggi no real support

Braggi knocks out the injured bandit before he can respond. The last bandit moves out of view, but there doesn't appear to be a response to the pair's request for submission.

As Xephkiel races up the stairs, a gravelly greeting rolls towards him and Andru as large rocks bounce their way toward them.

@Xephkiel and Andru - Please make a Reflex Save DC15 or take barrel of rubble: 1d6 ⇒ 1 damage.

A bandit waits at the top of the stairs (First Floor).

A barrel full of stones stands at the head of the stairs. Several
doors lead away from this hallway. The spiral staircase continues
upwards.

Below, Kurian's question is answered with "Aye! Get me out of here and away from this twit of a greenskin! Nay! Let me throttle the sniveling grot!" as manacles rattle in frustration.

Xephkiel and Andru can complete their turns moving up with the floor revealed, and Kurian can continue if desired.

I thought I remembered something to the effect about a dwarf, along with a Chelaxian human, that was a rival group who were seeking out the Shadowed Keep too on behalf of Tenho- naturally, when I checked the first two pages of the gameplay posting, I couldn't find it though. ;p

Unsure if Chigao actually saw those two earlier- could've been another fellow party member that spotted them at Olfden- but is that very rival adventurer dwarf the same as the one presently behind bars with a [sleeping?] goblin?

Slowly making her way down the stairs as she motions to the youthful Kellid Direlock to follow down after her (thanks to the illumination provided by the sunrod), Chigao adds to Kurian's initial queries by asking the imprisoned dwarf, "Who are you and how did you come to be imprisoned here alongside with a goblin?"

Sense motive on the dwarf's incoming explanation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19.

Perception on Dwarf and Goblin: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11.

The Chelaxian wasn't with a dwarf - at least not the pair that you're referring to.

Dwarf:

Wide and heavily muscled this dwarf has a thick black beard,
black, glittering eyes and thick, bushy eyebrows.

Goblin:

Clad in ragged, bloodstained clothes this small, scrawny
humanoid has a wide, ungainly head. Covered in sores and
many partially healed cuts and scrapes it is a sorry sight.

The dwarf answers, "I'm Reithic, and these blasted bandits clubbed me on the back of the head when they pretended to be interested in my wares. As for the goblin, it was in here when I woke up."

Chigao doesn't see anything wrong with the explanation.

As the barrel of masonry was dumped down the stairs, Andru nimbly dodged the tumbling stones and said to Xeph What is it with these guys and masonry...

DM rel20, is the goblin in the cell also awake and up on its' feet? From the token on the dungeon map, it seems like it's laying there unconscious upon the straw bed. If the goblin is awake, is there a chance for using disable device to re-lock the door?

Perception on dungeon jail lock for traps: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13. Not the best result; I'll flavor-flufflingo it as the crashing of the barrel of rocks versus Xeph and Andru distracting her from her work. ;p

So even if Xephkiel had managed to convince the bandits above to let us inside, they almost certainly would've tried to take us all captive at the first opportunity...

While carefully studying the locks on the prison door, via the light from the sunrod, to see if there were any traps contained within its' mechanisms, Chigao idly converses with the Reithic by saying, "You have my condolences, Reithic, I am Chigao, a humble novice under the tutelage of Master Fisnaeth; by any chance were you alone when they captured you or did you have any other compatriots with you at the time?".

Before the imprisoned Dwarven Merchant could even make a reply, the subsequent sounds of something heavy rolling down the stairs followed by a loud crashing noise from the floor above breaks through quiet darkness of the dungeon floor- and causes the Kunoichi Lass to pause in her examination of the lock as she glances sharply up at the lighted open stairway leading above to the ground floor.

Taking a short intake of breath to help steel her nerves, Chigao looks over to where Kurian is standing at and says to the unkempt Kellid Lad, "Kurian, I'll need you to hold on to this sunrod if we're to let Reithic out from this prison cell- I'll have my hands full with trying to unlock this prison door otherwise."

Should we let Reithic out from the prison? One could argue that his safety isn't guaranteed since there are other bandits loose in the floors above; then there's the question of what to do with the goblin prisoner too.

The goblin is awake, although lying down. He looks beaten and malnourished.

You can use disable device to attempt to re-lock the door, or find the key.

You do not see any traps on the jail lock.

Reithic responds, "I was alone. I was traveling with my cart to try and sell my goods."

Pink swings a morningstar at Xephkiel, trying to club him back down the stairs like a whack-a-mole.

[ooc]Ground floor has Kurian standing on the down stairs and the dead bandit body. On the first floor (same slide, just to the right), Xephkiel and Andru went up the stairs but the bandit was at the top of the stairs. Technically Andru is on the stairs heading up to the first floor as well, and the 2 stair squares on the left are going up to the next level.

Ah, I've got it - recall that we're using the slides for inside the tower.

"Leaving this to you Braggi, careful about the other doors behind us. Battles met inside already." Zupon elucidates his plan to Braggi as ne heads through the door way and glances about for sounds of combat, picking up Xephkiel's grunt of combat and heading up.

30 ft of movement-which brings me to the base of the stairs with 5ft of movement left. I assume thats not enough to get next to Xeph?

Was Xeph's attack him chasing, or was that the AOO from the bandit running through the door? If that was an AOO, and the stairs were less than 5ft, I might be able to heal attempt. Since Xeph is slightly higher on the stairs guarding against upstairs.
If that was not an AOO and he chased him through the Stairs then Zupon would continue up and catch up to Xeph whose dripping blood and giving grunts of pain

Technically the order on the stairs would be Zupon, Andru, then Xeph in ascending order. I believe you'd have to wait for Andru to move down (most likely) to move adjacent.

The attack on Xeph was on the bandit's turn; he took a 5' step to re-adjust afterwords. Xeph's attack was his standard action on his turn.

Technically Xeph has to move 5' to attack pink bandit, so I moved the token. This allows Zupon to move in behind him. @Zupon - if you want to retcon last turn, you can heal Xeph.

So the first floor (above ground floor) has Xeph and Mr. Pink, with Zupon and Andru on the stairs.

Mr. Pink opens the door to the southern room(using standard action) and then 5' steps in.

Braggi continues to hold the courtyard, but sees little action on top.

RETCON

Zupon saddles up behind Xeph, but keeps him between the danger. Focusing on patching up the blood. Growing so focused he ignores the nviroment and fast sutures using alchemical glue, and some pre-soaked bandages.

Heal Attempt: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 Well that worked. Zupon seems to roll better under pressure and not hurting people. Huh.
Xeph heals 11HP=((1+(25-15=10))

As for this new round, I'll wait till Xeph takes an action. Since I believe there is at least one in here still.

Shaking her head ruefully, Chigao admits with a woeful sigh, "Unfortunately, it seems that this lock is beyond my own skill to open...would you know who among their number carry the keys to this cell, Reithic?"

If Chigao fails in her attempt to relock the door...

Chigao gives an exasperated sigh as she ruefully admits, "I'm unable to get this cell door locked back up again; shall we tie up our goblin prisoner so that it won't alert it's tribe about our presence?"

If Kurian voices his objection to opening the cell-door; possibly citing the need to help our fellows with the remaining bandits?

I am assuming Kurian moved up to the door square to stab at pink.

From behind Xeph, but keeping an eye on Andru as well as moving so he can move up as he wanted Zupon opts to try to hurt his enemy. Drawing a small object that looks like it could've been a writing or etching material and throwing it at Mr Pink.

Shuriken Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 and being fearful of hitting Xeph-as well as fearing killing, Zupon whiffs it and send the shuriken into the door frame.

I moved Xeph closer to Pink, but I am unsure if the "door" is a 5ft square he can stand in or not. Moved Zupon up behind him as well. Zupon is starving for level 2 stuff haha poor bugger

AFAIK Kurian is downstairs with Chigao; I'm assuming you meant Xeph there.

The doors/walls are a little thick in these drawings, but they are not intended to be spaces.

After getting that ominous prison door unlocked with her only set of lockpicks, Chigao only keeps it slightly ajar as she starts to warily gaze at the lone goblin in the cell, trying to see if the goblinoid is similarly manacled. In addition to being locked up in the cell, Reithic, a mere lone merchant, just happens to be chained up against the wall as well...

Perception on gobby: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18.

"Reithic, do you happen to know which of the bandits above is keeping the keys to your manacles?"

If the goblin is unmanacled, Chigao is considering either relocking the door or getting out some rope to tie up the goblin [with Kurian's help] with after putting away her lockpicks.

Good to know that the goblin was also manacled up; woulda seemed strange if only Reithic was manacled but not the goblin. :)

In the meantime, Kurian will stay down here to watch over you, Reithic.", before turning to Kurian as the Young Kunoichi lass gently places her right hand upon one of his shoulders in a reassuring manner. "Kurian... I'll be heading back upstairs to search that downed bandit- do be careful though; if anything should happen down here, just shout for me- I will return, with or without the others, soon..."

Moving purposefully from the slightly ajar cell door, Chigao heads back up the stairs to search the bandit's body upstairs- making certain to retrieve her two thrown daggers in the process although she does pause every once in a ("Waiyo") while to hear if there's any commotion going on upstairs above.

Perception to search the downed bandit on the ground floor for any keys, ignoring anything else the bandit might carry: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24.

Letting Kurian watch over Reithic and the goblin, Chigao will search for any keys the bandit on the ground floor may have. Whether or not she finds any, afterwards she'll stick her head out the open tower door to get Braggi to come inside and join up with the others while ("Waiyo"?) informing him about Reithic and the goblin down below in the dungeon. ;)

Zupon peeks around the corner and flings another dart at Xeph's target trying to offer support best he can in tight quarters. Hoping to wing them in the leg and maybe forcing them to give up so to be questioned "Give up! I'd rather information than your life!

As Xeph pushes forward, a barrage of bolts fire, ricocheting around the tight quarters. His rapier strikes a stud in Mr. Pink's armor, blade bending as Xeph is forced to contort to dodge the projectiles.

Spying the key-ring in question, Chigao gives a rueful grimace at thought of having missed noticing it the first time when it was already there, openly within sight all this time. To be fair, I was rushing after Kurian when he ran downstairs in the first place...

Now to see to getting Braggi inside the Tower proper...;)

Glancing back inside to see if everything is still there, especially that confounded key-ring, Chigao looks back outside towards Braggi and the wide open courtyard to add in with, "Kurian and I... we went downstairs instead and spotted two prisoners being held there... they're chained up inside of a cell down below- Reithic, a Dwarven Merchant, plus a lone injured Goblin. I'm heading back down there to free up Reithic; we'll be keeping that goblin locked up for now though!"

With her answer to Braggi being properly sent, the novice Kunoichi will pause before moving back from the doorway in order to give room for the burly Ulfen man to enter the tower proper. When opportunity permits, Chigao will head over to grab the key-ring from its' hook before venturing back down the stairs to help free Reithic.

If Braggi should voice any objections to freeing Reithic this early while the bandits are still actively about, Chigao will head downstairs to fetch Kurian instead[?]. ;)

Once Chigao's answer makes him think no one's going to show his head, Braggi enters the tower and quickly climbs the stairs to help.

No objections, since he hasn't got enough info to decide.

I think it's best that we leave Kurian in the basement for now rather than treat him like an animal companion. If we don't hear back from him in a bit, we'll see if he wants to continue or not.

@Braggi - please place your char in the tower map then.

We can probably retire the overall keep map then for a bit - moving all the tokens to the side.

Mr. Pink slams his morningstar towards Xeph, who has to grip his rapier with two hands to deflect the blow as the spikes can be felt pressing through the hide. He then takes a step back between two sets of bunk beds as another barrage of bolts come from the east. One lands deep with fletching partially submerged into the wound.

It takes him 35' to reach the stairs, the rest of his double move (25') will be used to climb them. Will that be enough to reach the first floor?

Yes, that can put you on the first floor. 3 spaces of stairs and the 4th to put you on the first floor, although that's currently occupied by Andru.
