Chakos and Antonio: I didn't mention it but you are also entitled (See House Rules, above) to Recover Luck:

If the roll is equal to or less than the hero’s present Luck score, 1D10+5 Luck points are recovered.

Naturally, a hero’s Luck score will vary throughout play, but may never exceed 99 (excess points are lost). The starting Luck value is not used again in the game and can be exceeded in the course of play.

So, there I was, at Scout Camp. I get a text from another adult telling me that a third adult had tested Covid positive today. Yesterday I had spent more than an hour sitting around chatting with that very guy.

I do the right thing, report the exposure, and long story short, I am home from Scout Camp. There were tears, from my son, and some of the other Scouts, and maybe, just maybe, from me.

Hopefully a false alarm, and an abundance of caution, but I'm sleeping in the basement tonight, the wife is upstairs with the dog.

Ahh well.

Yes, we have some tests. I'll give it a day or so before I use one, I think it would be too early to pop positive, and I've got no symptoms.

I still need to buy equipment, but does it look like I have the basics covered? I am still writing a longer backstory, but I got called away for a family emergency and am on the road today and tomorrow at least.

For items not in Pulp Cthulhu handbook but in the Investigators handbook can we use those prices? also can I voluntarily reduce my size a bit?

Thanks, yeah I may elaborate more, basically it looks like he hit a growth spurt at 13 and never grew after that at all in face or body or rather barely looks like he did

I did not find buying anything like weapons, but Jack lives by fairly modest means.


All the weapons are in the Investigator's Handbook, but your employer (the Caduceus Foundation) will supply your gear and weapons.

Okay. At long last I'm ready to get going. The issue I've been thinking about is that the existing team (Antonio, Chakos and Elliot) won't meet their new teammates (Edward and Jack) until they receive their next assignment.

In the meantime, there is a short interlude I want to put in which logically would involve only Antonio, Chakos and Elliot. In order keep Edward and Jack's players from having to wait too long, we'll keep it short.
