Hi,
this is the recruitment thread for Captives of Toil for GD IX.
This scenario is for characters level 5-9. If you are interested, please sign up. It's first come, first serverd. As soon as there are six players registered, I'll close the signup.
Some information about the GM and her PbP style:
- lives in Europe (so posting times will be a bit off compared to US times)
- I'll post 1-2 times a day, in combat, please do the same if possible (if not, note that in the discussion thread, your character will be botted)
- I'm using Google Slides for maps
- please update your character sheets
- during combat, if there was no post for > 24h, your character will be botted

Hi everyone,
I'd love to sign up with one of my 6th level characters as this is one of the few he's in tier for. Almost all of the PF1 games are either 1-5 or 7-11 and my 6th level characters cant play either.
I have either a 6th level archer Inquisitor or a 6th level melee Occultist available depending on party composition.
Laiashi |
Here's my 5th-level rogue!
Player: SodiumTelluride
Character: Laiashi
PFS: 89635-10
Faction: The Exchange
Day job roll: Craft (alchemy), take 10: 10 + 10 = 20
Notes: Laiashi specializes in Sleight of Hand, especially for hiding her weapons; unless otherwise specified, she keeps her daggers hidden at all times. As a rogue, she has Uncanny Dodge and can't be caught flat-footed.

interested players:
woodenman 6
Tenibri 5
Lucky Luli 6
Laiashi 5
Luurg 8
Sifvery Moon 6
Father Urzaia Conflict 7
Patros Therinor / Mykel Therinor 5/7
Las Lajas 6-7
9 players, I'm going to split the group into two tables.
I think the best way to split is by character level.
Table low (this campaign):
woodenman 6
Tenibri 5
Lucky Luli 6
Laiashi 5
Sifvery Moon 6
Table high:
Luurg 8
Father Urzaia Conflict 7
Las Lajas 6-7
Mykel Therinor 7 (if you want to play Mykel instead of Patros)
If that is ok for you, of course!
Father Urzaia Conflict |
Alchemist
Warpriest
Investigator/Barbarian
Swashbuckler
Looks like we're a little front heavy. I can switch up if desired. I have:
L9 Fire blaster Sorcerer
L9 Healing Oradin
L8 Bard (with a few channels)
L6 Cleric (does a bit of everything except damage in combat)
L8 UnRogue
L9 Fighter/Shadowdancer
L8 Skald (Spell Warrior)

I think that's completely your call man. A well rounded party is nice but I think many scenarios you can get away without it. That may be more difficult with 4 vs a 5/6 man team though.
Luurg's ranged ability are some weak bombs but he can fly so there's that. He also can provide some bit of healing but not much. His skills are predominantly 'outdoorsy'.
