Kiyoko Tamahi

The Tian-Min samurai dashes forward, pausing just outside of one of the doors. Double-move.
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
To-to-obika
|
To-to moves closer to the middle tower and casts protective ward over himself. Protection from evil
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Lucky Lee
|
Lucky casts Shield from his wand, enters his defensive stance, and approaches the door into the central tower.
"Kiyoko!" he calls as the samurai-ko peels off towards a fallen tower. "The enemy is in the central tower!"
That's what the GM told us earlier.
initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Micah Elum
|
Micah and Ponya dash up to the door. Micah reaches for the handle, ready to open it next round.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Joe Public
|
"Kiyoko!" he calls as the samurai-ko peels off towards a fallen tower. "The enemy is in the central tower!"
"That's just what they want you to think!" Joe whispers back from behind the halfling's shoulder. The philosopher clutches his wand tightly and looks around with wide eyes for more undead creatures to spring forth from the straw or ground or ether or wherever else they could possibly be hiding.
Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Move and draw wand.
| GM Redelia |
Nessian init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
AC against evil creatures is 19, touch 14, flat-footed 17
Micah Elum
|
Where were the crossbow bolts fired from? Arrow slits from somewhere or are the enemies visible?
Lucky Lee
|
"The archers are not our targets! We're here for Nessian. On me!"
Lucky kicks in the door to the central tower.
Moved - not sure if I can actually get ahead of Ponya, but if Ponya doesn't have hands someone has to open the door for him too eh?
Micah Elum
|
Micah and Ponya dash up to the door. Micah reaches for the handle, ready to open it next round.
[dice=Initiative]d20+3
That's what Micah was there for. If you can't get to the door, Micah will pull it open for everyone.
| Ponya |
The elemental eidolon dashes into the central tower and... if there is an enemy in range, snaps a bite at it.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 for Magic/BPS: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Kiyoko Tamahi
|
Waiting to see what Barrabas does.
Joe Public
|
"Aaaaaaiiiieeee!" Joe reflexively flings a bolt from his wand at the other thug in the central spire.
Force damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Casting magic missile at Blue
Kiyoko Tamahi
|
Kiyoko attempts to open the door. If she finds it locked, she attempts to kick it open.
Strength check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
| GM Redelia |
Kiyoko finds a dead thug, and an empty tower. It has no door to the main tower.
To-to, I'll save that action for when it's your turn.
Nessian perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
remaining thug perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
no action from the bad guys.
The entire party is up. To-to, unless you say otherwise, I'll use that action you posted.

Micah Elum

Micah moves into the room and up the stairs, nodding at Ponya who...
Double Move
| Ponya |
...leads the way, galloping up the stairs to attack any enemies hiding there.
Move (40ft speed) and attack any enemy up top
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 for Magic/BPS: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Lucky Lee
|
Lucky rushes up the stairs, joining Ponya.
"Nessian! Throw down your weapons and surrender! You'll get no more opportunities to do so!"
acrobatics, full speed: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Will provoke an AoO as I move through Ponya's square, unless acrobatics check beats CMD +10. I don't recall if soft cover from Ponya prevents Nessian taking an AoO?
Actions: double move. AC is 23 (29 is when Lucky makes a defensive fighting attack)
Joe Public
|
Joe hesitantly follows Lucky up the stairs, stopping as soon as he spots the suspicious person at the top. "You! Are you the werewolf secret agent!?" he blurts.
Double move
| GM Redelia |
Nessian seems completely confused by Joe's comment.
He is unable to attack Lucky due to Ponya's presence.
Barrabas moves inside and partway up the stairs.
Nessian swings his flail at Ponya.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Party is up again.
OK, team, let's finish this!
Kiyoko Tamahi
|
The Tian-Min looks up at the impassible innards of the fallen siege tower and curses. She then bolts for the doorway the others had gone through. Double move.
Lucky Lee
|
Lucky makes a single strike with his sling staff - as his anger grows, hellfire wreathes his arms and his weapon and the smell of brimstone grows strong.
staff vs Nessian, rage, crane style: 1d20 + 4 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 + 2 - 2 = 19damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
"YA BASTICH! TRYIN' T' CAUSE A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE JUS' SO YA C'N PLAY GANGSTER! THERE'S A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL WAITIN' F' YA!"
Lucky clambers over the furniture to make room for his allies and put Nessian in a flank.

| Ponya |
The elemental eidolon tries to rip a chunk free of Nessian.

Joe Public
|
"You'll never take us alive to conscript into your unwilling lycanthropic army!" Joe continues, chest heaving with the twinned exertions of running up the stairs and the horror of the potential situations running through his mind.
Casting daze (Will 14) on Nessian.
| GM Redelia |
will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11
Having dealt with all his minions present and incapacitated Nessian, you are easily able to deal with him. Looking around, you find various colored lanterns and the code book. Yargos quickly sends the signal to end the attack. He is grateful for your help, and you think you have a friend and ally for life. You also have a valuable business contact in Grandmaster Torch. Few wil ever know of your heroism, but Absalom is saved due to your efforts.
