As soon as Rinika flies down, nearly on top of the assault, Myress for a moment looks up at her in her exact direction. The gasping strangler shakes their head and again turns their attention back to Jaspan, who is now unconscious, her lungs struggling to draw in breath but they are unable to for some reason. Myress steps closer to their victim.
Meanwhile the rest of the party descends nearby and out of sight so as to not spoil Rinika’s attempted ambush.

Rinika tries to figure out what the airman is doing...

Myress is apparently waiting, but Rinika strongly suspects that he is using magic to suffocate Jaspan. She cannot be certain exactly how without further evidence.
Rinika says aloud, "Leave 'er be, y'lathly mephit!"
She hits Jaspan with a https://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Dispel%20Magic. Then she moves into full view, giving Myress a more immediate threat.
The hells am I doing sticking my neck out...that's a good way to lose it.
Rinika subtly tries to remove whatever magic is affecting Jaspan. For a brief second she is able to draw in a ragged breath but then the breath stealing spell reasserts itself.
The murderer doesn't acknowledge Rinika yet.
Nik hears Rinika definitely not just scouting and runs around the building everyone else landed behind. He stops around the corner from Jaspan and Myress, looking up at Rinika with a confused expression.
