Description: An attractive young Tian-Min woman, Kiyoko is stoic and taciturn, rarely speaking more than necessary. Possessed of pale blue eyes and wearing her platinum hair in a chin-length layered bob, Kiyoko has the toned, athletic body of someone raised in the martial arts, with a distinctive beauty mark to the right of her chin. She can often be found wearing a short red yukata and the geta sandals of Minkai.
Kiyoko is never without a katana at her side, a jet-black adamantine blade. The habaki at the base of the blade is stamped with a Minkaian character that reads Reitenseiya, "Starless Night."
Background: Kiyoko Tamahi is the only daughter and middle child of Kiyoshi and Eriri Tamahi, a pair of samurai in minor bureaucratic postings in a regional hub in Minkai. Raised in the arts of iaijutsu and kenjutsu from an early age by a man she has only ever known as "Sensei," he sent her off at age 16 (with her family's blessing) on a musha shugyo, a warrior pilgrimage. Since that time, she has managed to find her way to Absalom, where she has fallen in with the Pathfinder Society.

Careful combatant: You have a strong sense of self-preservation, believing it is more important to safely extract yourself from a fight that has turned hopeless than to stubbornly stand your ground and risk death—for when you’re dead, you can’t protect the innocent. When using the withdraw action, both the first and second squares of your movement are not considered threatened by any opponents you can see, rather than just the first square.

Boons and Vanities: Confirmed Field Agent- Having successfully completed and documented her Confirmation, one of the Three Masters has formally recognized Kiyoko as a field agent and given her a wayfinder engraved with her name and the date of her graduation. Kiyoko may buy a wayfinder for one PP, and may reduce the PP cost of wayfinder vanities by 1 as well.
Explore, Report, Cooperate- Kiyoko has an excellent sense of what makes an exemplary Pathfinder. As a free or immediate action, she may consider whether a particular action named--such as subduing but not killing an enemy, befriending an NPC, or recovering a particular item--would help realize the goals of the Pathfinder Society. The GM then informs the player whether the action's impact would be positive (contributes to meeting a secondary success condition for the scenario), negative (opposes the secondary success condition), or negligible (neither contributes to nor opposes the secondary success condition). If none of these three options accurately reflect the action's impact on Kiyoko's fulfillment of the secondary success conditions, the GM may respond with a phrase of five words or less. Once used, cross this boon off your Chronicle sheet.
Friend of Janira Gavix- The field agent who oversaw your Confirmation is appreciative of your bravery and camaraderie in the face of danger. She helps you perform research, granting you a +1 bonus on Knowledge checks attempted while you are in the Grand Lodge.
You Rescued the Minotaur Prince: You rescued Nuar Spiritskin, the Minotaur Prince of Absalom and he is quite grateful that you have done so. Though he is absolutely unclear how he got into the Tangle in the first place, he pays this no mind and spreads the tale of your daring-do to his many contacts throughout the city. You gain a permanent +1 circumstance bonus to any Intelligence or Charisma-based checks made while in Absalom.
