Martin shakes his head to clear it, then stepped to the side and slashed at the zombie in front of him with a practiced forehand-backhand maneuver.
[dice=attack1]1d20+6
[dice=S damage]1d6+3
[dice=attack2]1d20+6-2
[dice=S damage]1d6+3A - step
A - attack
A - attack
Martin, not that it matters, but I was curious why your second attack is only at -2? If you're counting Flurry, that only works against a Prey. Otherwise, it's -5 (-4 agil), -10 (-8).
Is there something else at work?

Ya know, goblin heads are rather big... ;)
GM Tyranius |
That they are! Wish that life-sized goblin statue was a bit cheaper :)

Will be without Internet Friday through Sunday.
Azu can just delay/avoid if combat arises. I think we have more than enough damage dealers and healers that it probably won't make a difference.

Here are your chronicles. Please look them over for any errors and I will correct them right away. The game has also been reported in.
Looks like I just need a Day job roll action from Azu, unless I missed it somewhere.

Everything on the chronicle looks right. Thanks for running this Tyranius. Not often a goblin gets to meet up with his own kind *not* to fight them.
I hope his chaotic / carefree disposition weren't too insufferable.

@GM Tyranius - as always, I enjoyed your scenario. It was a blast to play at your table again. Chronicle sheet looks good to go.
@everyone - thanks for the great game, all. I had a lot of fun, and there was a lot of good RP. Thanks Azu for being the not-quite-condescending veteran ranger that got exasperated with Martin, but didn't look down on him :)
I have my first level 2 PFS2 character! Yippee!
Azu Azan |
heh.
The big change in PF2 is the +10 crit threshold. BBEG's usually have such high comparative attack modifiers, they easily hit and often crit on the first two attacks and can reliably hit on the the third attack. Remember, in PF1, most creatures at low level are only getting one attack. Now they can get three. So it really requires a discipline to try and make the BBEG's come to you. Most players want to rush in and do their combat thing and I think that's why we saw so many (near) TPKs in the Playtest..
Tyranius |
@Azu- It takes 7 days downtime to retrain a feat. You have 8 days total of downtime for the scenario. You just let me know how many days you want to put towards retraining the feat and how many towards earn income or crafting.

Oh, as a player I know that. But Martin doesn't. He's still relatively new to this whole Adventuring thing...but he's learning. The hard way. I'm playing him as inexperienced and brash, but with a good heart. Hopefully he lives long enough to become experienced and wary, with the same good heart.

Well, it sounds like I'll spend 7 days retrainin and one day earning income.
Earned Income: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Got it! Thank you, Tyranius!

@Azu- Your chronicle has been updated and is in the same link above.
