Recruitment thread for 9-25 Betrayal in the Bones. Official blurb:

Using misdirection and misinformation, the Pathfinder Society has cornered a pair of its old enemies—a demoniac and an assassin—in the Five Kings Mountains. However, the two have taken refuge inside a sacred dwarven burial ground sacred to Magrim, and their desperate defenses have stymied the dwarves' initial assaults. It falls to a team of the Society's best agents to overcome these obstacles, avert impending blasphemies, and end these villains' treachery forever.

Tier 12-15. A number of folks in the Flaxeed Pathfinder Lodge thread were looking for a higher tier game and I'm expecting to see them through. So far I have the following signed up:

GM Nowruz/noral
GM Redalia
Frēodwēn

Rest are first come first served on posting a character. We'll set tier after gathering the party.

Also, hard mode? It's an option. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm not familiar with hard mode. What does that mean?

Its an opportunity to play at higher difficulty, combats will be deadlier or higher CR. No real gain in XP or the like in the final outcome, but some folks like a more difficulty in the challenge.

I'm not interested in hard mode.

I will like to play but not in hard mode.

Barm is level 14 Human two-handed fighter. Ready to fight.

My Archivist Bard (level 13) could be of use here. He has a different type of performance than Frēodwēn so they would be complementary.

Daathiel is quite good at Knowledge checks and provides defensive buffs. He has a lot of gold to spend and can do so depending on party composition and needs. He is ineffective at dealing damage but has a number of other tricks (and is inspired by The Doctor).

Ambivalent on Hard Mode, but as that typically has to be unanimous, it looks like we are a "no." Fine with me.

Hard mode has to be unanimous. We'll be playing in regular format.

I'd love to participate.

Have a 14th level flame oracle who's one adventure from leveling.

(could also bring a 13th summoner, or a 14 mystic theurge)

Barm has a tendency to solo one shot bosses (and everything else); that would be my argument for hard mode.

But I'm fine either way

Looks like room for one more.
