So are we waiting for our fourth to post?

No, he sent me a PM that he couldn't find a character build that worked -- I'm going to post soon.

Just a heads up -- my normal schedule is that I work all my hours Fr/Sat/Sun, so I can't post as much then. I am a 'weekend warrior' shift in a medical lab. I work in a clinical lab in a major hospital in a state that is seeing a huge COVID spike. I am doing a bunch of extra hours in the micro lab this week because they are slammed and short staffed, so I will keep it going but it might not be as quick as last week.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. So normal 'heavy posting' Mon -Thurs.' little or no posting on fri -sun, and this week will be slower than normal due to our lovely pandemic...

Your a Hero man, keep safe Sebecloki

Haha Lord P lives on

Since were moving forward here, the dig site is across the river? Is there a bridge or a forde?

I'll throw up the map by tomorrow, there is a ford over the River Sindh

Hello?

I'm getting the map together -- I apologize, I have been at my lab every single day since last monday and I am just trying to keep up with life right now.

If you need a hiatus, please take one. Just let me know when I should be checking back

I updated w/ the map of the river crossing.

Also, everyone, my schedule the last few days has been 14 hrs, 14hrs, and then I am doing 12 hrs, 12 hrs, Saturday and Sunday, and then 6 more hours in the afternoon on Monday, and I have to finish writing a final project for a communication class this weekend. I have Tuesday, Wens, and Thursday off when I should be able to catch stuff up if I can't steal a second during downtime at work to update.

Wow, not just a lot of extra hours but taking classes as well. Hat's off to you Sebecloki. Take all the time you need, were not going anywhere.

I have some really creative and creepy ideas for the stuff that's coming up -- I have a very erratic work schedule right now b/c my state is a COVID hot spot and I'm spending an extra 30 hrs a pay period preparing the tests in the microbiology department.

The show I worked on HDM just won the BAFTA for Best Visual Effects. Very happy for the team. :)

Congratulations!

I'm just going to post this to all the games I'm running right now -- the COVID 19 surge in my state is getting worse and I'm working 60-70 hour weeks until at least August 17th, w/ me pretty much being at the hospital everyday. I'm probably going to be a bit slower to reply than I'd like.

I'm sorry, I'm pulling just short of 80 hours this week to help with the COVID surge in the Micro lab, I literally haven't had a day off since last Monday I think.

Yuck, sorry to hear about all the hours. In game I was just getting antsy about whether a 19 was good enough or not. I was trying to figure out if it wasn't if he should shoot the lock or not, so I asked :)

I hope things slow down for you and that you stay safe. We'll get back to the game when you can, hopefully we don't lose anyone over it.

Sebecloki you're a hero, this game can wait or be here for you to un wined
Keep safe.

This post is to update everyone on a brief pause -- I'm in the midst of replacing my computer and moving thousands of files over to the new tower -- I have different pieces spread over my apartment, and I'm still waiting for the adapter cord I need for the monitor to come on Thursday.

Ouch, hopefully it was a planned upgrade and not due to an unforeseen loss.

I'm still working on getting the new computer set up -- this one has a hmdi port, which is a new technology for me. None of my monitors worked w/ it, so I bought an adapter, which came this evening, but apparently it's not the right kind of adapter. So I went ahead and got an hmdi monitor, which will be here Saturday, and then hopefully I can get everything moved over.

Everyone, I'm still here, but I'm just dead tired -- I've been coming in doing 12-16 hour days since last Friday. However, I am going to have M, T, Weds off coming up, so I should be able to get this back on track starting next week.

I wanted to share a test output of my new fancy computer, where I'm working on a map of the ruins of Kalidnay upper city. The Upper City. I am now able to do huge images that I wasn't able to do on the old device.

Take your time Sebecloki, we know RL needs to take priority, especially at this time...

The map looks great, congrats on getting the computer up and running :)

I just want to reassure you I'm still here and I'll get back to this soon -- I'm trying to get back into my games one by one. I'm going to reopen recruitment at the same time as I continue with the present action.

Ezana produces another sinister chuckle,

"Oh, I didn't say that I was without any defense against this puppet of the meddlesome Templar Cirag Khagan, just that you were unlikely to be able to shoo it from the premises with your present abilities and stratagems."

What he actually said was "I would not dare from caution and wisdom to attempt to wield this knowledge."

so yeah, I really don't want to play in a game where the main character is an NPC.

Miss Von Der Aha, I apologize that I am leaving you in a lurch, but I'm liking the direction this is going less and less. Hopefully I'll 'see' you in MJ66's game soon enough.

Sebecloki thanks for running the game, I apologize that it's not working out for me. Please remove Angus from the game and place him under previous players,

Thank you

Okay -- I'm a little confused about the relationship between what you highlighted and the point you're making, but it's not worth clarifying if you don't want to play anymore.

There are two different personalities -- the advisor is a front for a character from the other world, so you can't interpret everything he said in one guise as representative of the NPC's entire persona.

You haven't really seen how this is going to develop yet -- the advisor is sort of a guide/intro to the other world where in-character questions can be answered, he's not going to supplant your actions.

I'm not interested in pleading w/ people continue playing though -- I can just run something else.

I am not going to stand in the way if players not feeling it anymore.
No wrong here just sometimes things don't match up to everyone's liking.

Thank you Sebecloki for running this game, it was good while it lasted.

Then you Robert Henry, loved your PC Angus and it was great playing with you.

Keep safe everyone.
