I had him delay on seeing you swallowed, because if you cease to be alive , I think he becomes a regular axebeak? Pretty easy to retcon him stepping closer with Vos and Felver’s encouragement.
I was totally thinking of having him do something heroic if Felver didn’t extricate himself, because it seems like the sort of thing he would do.

Kai is still invisible so that will likely change the dialogue

@Doormouse I did write his turn not thinking about you being stealthed (please roll in combat if desired, unless you have a special ability to take 10, and then please indicate).
I don't think it would matter much. He had locked door and was primarily using ice storm to delay help from arriving and make ranged attacks at him more difficult.
That said. When I correctly sized resilent spheres with a 10' radius from the beads of force. I don't think he actually has line of effect to the hallway. So I don't think he could have actually hit you with the spell, so when I update the gameplay post after everyone goes I'll reverse the damage from the spell and remove it. That also means that no one in the hall way currently has line of effect to inside the room. It also means you of course have your turn and are not prone/dying :)

I am just trying to survive the pummeling I have been getting lol single hp in every single combat is rough! Sorry I am hiding and healing up a bit
Unfortunately every combat so far our enemies have effectively appeared an then full rounded you. Every combat. It was the worms and golems, then the 8 archer/rogues all going at once, then the mages being able to stack area of effect spells, then the combat maneuver based fighters all coming to life and swarming you. The typical Pathfinder game doesn’t use block initiative because, even more than it normally does, it massively favors the team that has the most action economy which has been exacerbated be there being only 4 of us with no AC tank. All those block actions have been cripplingly effective. It’s been punishing for us to not be able to see anyone coming or react to individual things going on.

The opponents have largely moved up to the party with their first round of actions, leaving them at the party’s mercy (with Kai and Felver/Tenzo being particularly punishing when you’re in range for a full attack). It is the nature of higher level play that it becomes a bit of ‘rocket tag’.
In general things go on their own initiatives, which will usually lead to split initiatives. Your party has largely been in one grouping (typically first, not withstanding and surprise round, due to high initiatives) so far, and that'll probably continue based on the modifiers.
The first combat specifically called for block initiatives for 3 groups and the party engaged (much more rapidly than I thought possible with an arcane locked door) the combat with the gnomes and mage with concurrent combat rounds with the first combat.
This combat had a special mechanic that led to one combatant animating others as the combat went on.

Before this continues I do want to make it clear that I am will not be upset it this does result in a TPK. It can be hard to judge tone via text and while I will become animated and I’ll admit very disappointed about losing my only dampir, it’s the way the game goes. People can get mad if and when they lose (and I am a people)but it is never my intention to become adversarial just to be clear. I’d obviously rather not die, if we all go down I don’t think I’ll be able to continue. My take from the tail spinning was not the only death this character has had and I don’t have the prestige to continue. Part of that does come from not being able to heal easily in combat but I’m getting off topic.
Regardless of how our enemies have gotten it be it by design or the methods of play by post they have absolutely gained and used an advantage by acting in a block. If we survive this encounter we will need to be much, MUCH more careful in how we take future fight as we are still only in part 1. We might need to get creative, maybe even a little cheesy. Well, I’ll save the rest of this conversation for after the fight.

I am not going to try to make points here or there but to say Pathfinder even season 4 and some other few dungeons have never beat me like this. I don't think we have the right mix here and I won't be going into any combat again without first resting and buffing if I have to rest and buff every thirty feet so be it

Hey folks so this is Vrog Skyreaver/Vos. Sorry about the spam if we were in multiple games together.
Unfortunately, I have some bad news. I currently do not have access to my main account. I have opened a ticket to Paizo, but from the email I got back from them, it's not looking like I'll be able to access my account any time soon.
I would have posted sooner but I didn't even think about making an alt until now.
As it's not fair to everyone to make them wait, I'm going to withdraw from the game. If I get me account fixed and the game is still ongoing, I'll reach back out to see about joining.
Thank you for letting me play with you all, and I hope you all have a great game!

Recruit a few more and have the lodge send them in and give them a chance to tell their story to get the missed plot points when they arrive to meet us by having the lodge bring them out to us. We were needing help anyhow. We did this at Gencon a few years back so as not to lose a game early morning after one no show and an emergency departure. We talked with the judges, did an announcent, and grabbed back up to six. It wasn't the capstone adventure admittedly but it worked
