Thanks for running this Paracosmic! I'm getting the profile for Talax worked out but will def. be ready on Monday. Looking forward to it.

Am I right that this is not an adventure where we are all supposed to know each other at the start?

It’s not required to be strangers, but you aren’t expected to know each other. The AP starts at a festival that you all have various reasons to attend, and through jolly cooperation during the inciting action you are a party from then on.

Somehow it just seems right that I'd've been tagging along with a juggling bard and having had some wacky hijinks ensue. =p
Wacky hijinks that one or both would cheekily deny as being "incidental occurrences", being "hardly involved", and "mere bystanders"? Sounds fun!

Paracosmic, I wanted to just say that in Noro's backstory. she was born and raised in Sandpoint. I may play her with some liberties as she knows many people.
I also go with her brother working as a cook in the Rusty Dragon and sometimes takes some liberties there as well.
but I want to clear anything up with you first and adjust accordingly.
in the character profile I have links to past Runelord games and you can get an idea there as to Noro's personality in Sandpoint.

Alright!
Okay, most of teh crunch is done.
I just a few minor teeny-weeny favors questions to ask.
Well, huh, this turned into something kinda long so Imma spoiler it so it doesn't take up half the screen to read. =)
I have a pretty good "form" of the character in my head, and things would go smoother if there were some twerks I could be allowed. (No no, none of these are OMG OP AF, or even will come up in gameplay much...or ever. XD And it's fine for you to say no. The character will be less fun to play then and I'll think less of you as a person, but other than that it's totally fine. ^_^)
Question the First: You said we could backstory our way into a normal trait instead of a Campaign one. Could I please do that for Armor Expert?
Something that I always try to work in to playing is Climbing. Basically, I don't think it's done enough, and I think some interesting options can open up once you have the option to go vertical. As a criminal, Wraith knows this, and would utilize it.
Mind you, people look at you funny if you walk around naked. (I know right? What's up with that?) So we have to wear armor. But armor interferes with Climbing, and it breaks the narrative to be in a high-tension situation and have to say "Oh, uh, hang on a minute, I have to change out of this armor into some leather that I keep in my backpack because of course I do so I can climb this wall to save the princess gimme a few minutes."
Hence, if it would help the character, and, I feel, the story, to alleviate that a bit with a decrease to the ACP.
Question the Second: Can I have a Drawback for another trait?
Again, this has more to do with the character and the story and the party than any actual OMG OP AF.
I'd like her to have Power-Hungry because...Wraith is. A lot. For her not to have it would be weird. Also, I like characters having at least one Achilles Heal, and this would help accentuate that she's not strong-willed, but it's a crutch she has to work around.
So too, it would help if she could have the Trait Criminal Background because...duh. She's a criminal. ^_^ (This could then be used for some minor help for Disable Device which is sort of important because we don't have a rogue so this game could come to a screeching halt as we spend ten minutes trying to get over every freeckin' cobblestone that we think might have a trap in it....) She still wouldn't be as good as an actual rogue and you win some you lose some, but it at least gives us an obvious option rather than having to rig up a Rube-Goldberg machine for every dart trap we might find.
Question the Third: Can there be a weapon, with the same statistics as a Light Hammer, that is a bladed weapon, perhaps called a Knife?
The reasoning behind this is as obvious as it is immature. ^_^ To draw and throw a cool bladed thing is...cool. To stop and try throwing some kind of thing your dad would use to nail up a picture of your aunt that you never liked in the first place is...less cool.
That...that's really all there is to it. I wanna draw and throw a dagger, but I can use Martial weapons, so I want a Martial Dagger. There's already a weapon with the numbers I want, I just wanna re-skin it. (Quite frankly I'm surprised something like this doesn't already exist {please don't say the word 'starknife' at me because such a thing should not exist in reality because it's dumb and stupid and OMG a frickin' knife should not cost 24 gp srsly??} and I think if I spent enough time looking hard enough I could probably find it, but who has that kinda time? =)
Think about it.
And then Tally ho! =p

Paracomic, is it alright if I know some people in town, specifically any book sellers that I may have traded with in previous seasons?

That's totally cool, and honestly to both our benefit. Without spoiling anything, having a story reason to care about Sandpoint as a town is a huge shot in the arm for your GM in this AP.

Okay, most of teh crunch is done.

Yes to armor expert. I don't know much about how often certain skills are used in the field yet, but I will take your word for it and can see how having that opens up rooftop options for Wraith.
I hadn't heard of drawbacks before. I have only fully read the CRB, APG and Bestiaries 1 & 2, so I still have a lot to learn. That seems reasonable, and I will extend the same offer to take a drawback to the rest of the party. Just be careful what you wish for I guess! I will definitely put stuff in the game to challenge your character.
Throwing hammers can puncture a breastplate at 20 feet, which explains why they are so good at killing Mario. I don't see why it should be a big deal to change the damage type of a light hammer "throwing knife" so go ahead, unless someone can point out why that's a bad idea.

The old man Chask Hadlan runs The Curious Goblin in Sandpoint. It serves in part as a town library, a bookstore, and chiefly as Chask's own book collection. He's less interested in the store being profitable and more focused on his own enjoyment of collecting tomes, but he is happy to sell tomes to those that have the mind for them.

There really shouldn't be any issue with switching out that damage type. It basically makes it a worse dagger with longer range.
Light Hammer
1d4 x2, 20ft B
Dagger
1d4 19-20x2, 10ft P or S

Oh no, Paracosmic! Praying she'll heal well.
I will try to catch up and post tonight. I got hit by a wicked sinus infection and have basically been sleeping most of the last few days.
Zael Cairn
Allergies are trying to murder me it doesn't help that I'm at the in-laws, I will try to post this weekend, but if you need Zael to move the story along feel free to bot him if I don't respond quickly.
Zael Cairn
I should hopefully be catching up tomorrow night (or Wed if the traffic home is horrible). Currently recovering from a massive allergic reaction that left me looking like Will Smith in Hitch, but at least now I know what happens if I stay outside for more than 30 min.
Talax
Paracosmic, everything going alright? Haven't heard from you in a few days.
Talax
Has anyone heard from the GM? Its been quite a while since anyone posted.
