In a low voice, tinged with bitterness, she outlines the encounter with the little bastard.


After hearing the story, pausing between bites to pay attention, Shalelu replies "Sounds like a real problem. I don't have any experience with fighting demons, but if you want my help, we can go there now and take care of the problem. At least I'm good with a bow and arrow and this flying business will just make it easier for me to hit it. You said special weapons are better, right? I think I can afford some."

We blew a lot of money on said special weapons but I figure we know how to best it now... I still have a few spare sling stones.


It doesn't take any convincing, Shalelu just shrugs and continues munching on her breakfast. However, she says "Sure, just don't forget about Thistletop."


The day goes by without any events, but to the clouds continue to gather. The following morning, there isn't any sight of blue sky and only clouds can be seen. The populace keeps looking up, as if a dragon is about to swoop in and take them away.

Make sure to note if there are any changes in prepared spells.

The group makes their way back to the complex entrance and the eerie silence is still present.

Over the previous day, Izumi and Father Zantus talked about what the demon did to her, so today, he helped her heal the supernatural damage.

Let's just say Father Zantus cast Lesser Restoration twice on you. So yeh!

The group approaches the room where they last saw the little demon and it is empty. There is an unexplored path east using the wooden platform.

Dolgrin takes a look and declares the structure safe. In fact, given how old this place must be, it seems much more conserved than what would make sense.

Izumi leads the group east into a room which contains several ancient relics of what appear to be torture implements, although their function and style seem strange and archaic. In one corner sits a spherical cage with spikes protruding inward from its iron bars. In another stands what appears to be a star-shaped wooden frame, its surface studded with hooks. And in the center of the room is a long table covered with leather straps and a number of cranks that seem designed to rotate and swivel.

There is a door to the south and another to the east. To the east, the goblin ranting can be heard a little more loudly.

Rooke looks around in disgust. "This is a fun room," the caydenite said sarcastically, as he guards on side of the entrance to the east.

The group carefully watches the door to the east. It stays closed and the goblin seems to continue ranting in his native tongue. He doesn't seem to be talking to no one since no one responds.

After a while, the goblin stays silent, as if catching his breath.

Some occasional moaning can be heard from the east door as door as well, but the voice doesn't match either the goblin or the demon.

Rooke opens the door to reveal a small flight of stairs that go down. Other than a few squared wooden planks on the floor, there is not much to be seen.

The group walks down the stairs Scooby Doo and friends style and the ceiling of this strangely cold chamber arches to a vaulted height of twenty feet. The floor contains eleven wooden lids strewn haphazardly over eleven five-foot-wide pits in the ground. From the darkness within these pits echo up strange shuffling sounds and, every so often, a low moan. At the end of the room, a very strange goblin is there. He has 3 arms and a deformed face. Each of the arms has a different weapon and he seems to be chastising himself. He looks at the party and angrily prepares to charge.

True to this group's tradition, the enemies roll better.

The goblin runs up to Izumi, somehow hopping over the wooden lids, and spews a foul-smelling and acidic blood from his mouth which covers the entire party.

Everyone can roll a Reflex save DC 13 for half damage. You also have to roll a Fort save DC 13 or be nauseated for 1 round. Party's up!

The goblin turns to the most threatening looking warrior and attacks her. Having three arms carrying weapons, it is truly a threatening sight.

Despite her friends blessing her she is badly wounded and uses the withdrawal action... hoping to heal up.


The deformed goblin visibly considers chasing Izumi but realizes that Dolgrin is actually the more dangerous target and steps towards him to attack three times.

Seeing that the blue haired actor doesn't wish to dirty his spear, the goblin surprisingly feels he has an advantage, despite bleeding profusely after being stabbed by Rooke. He continues attacking Dolgrin.
