I think Irves is at -3, not -4? Or does the zombie rot cause 1 damage each round?
A creature infected with zombie rot can’t heal the damage it takes from zombie rot until it has been cured of the disease. Irves is stuck at -4 max until the disease is removed.
Bolstered by Pyotr and Erevan, the Pathfinder warriors assail the zombie, chopping it up into giant chunks of putrid meat. As the monstrosity falls, the villagers spring into action, kicking the severed limbs away and slamming the gate shut behind you just as the rest of the invading undead break against it. The townsfolk take over the keep defense again, affording you a moment's respite.

Khunbish sheds his cat skin, and stoops down to check on Irves but quickly realises there's not much he can do for him at this time. "Be strong. We will get through this."

Aloysius swallows nervously.
"They said that they were all mindless, right?" the young man says with faint hope. "It wouldn't be that there's something malevolent and icky at the back of the mass, just waiting to soften us up, right?"
Aloysius considers his lone remaining offensive spell and retreats up to the ramparts. As he goes, he focuses his mind, calling for his cursed ancestors' fund of knowledge once more.
Move to the ramparts. Re-focus and use ancestral memories once more to get Lore (Undead).

Pyotr uneasily draws his rapier, launching into a shouted speech. "People of Prophet's Rest! There is little more to be said that hasn't been heard already. But know that you have done well thus far. And as with the folk of every other city in which a Pathfinder Lodge stands, we will shield you from all the harm we can!"
The rest is of markedly less quality and a lot of waffle, but it serves to pass the tense minutes by.

Sadly, the Pathfinders find out all too easily; the terrified locals flee the gate, affording the horned monster the chance to walk up and swing a broad, sweeping arc against the druid and his companion. @Khunbish: Irves went down this round because of the skeleton's critical hit; he was already at "full" health (minus the zombie rot) at the start of battle. I believe that sets him at 0 HP and dying 2, but I'm not 100% sure if animal companions follow the same rules as PCs. In rounds you can retrieve one potion and administer it to Irves for 15 HP based on your rolls, then have one action left (which I assume you'd use to Stride into position). Let me know if that's what you want to do, or if you have a different preferred set of actions. Otherwise I'll assume this is your preferred action and post an update tomorrow.
@Erevan: Remember when you last fought skeletons you determined that they are resistant to fire damage. I'll let you keep that attack roll and use a different bomb if you'd like, otherwise I'll keep the action you posted when I do my update tomorrow.

Khunbish (-25 HP, inspired); Irves (wounded 3, inspired, prone, -21 HP [-4 zombie rot], zombie rot stage 2)
Aloysius (-17 HP, inspired; up on ramparts)

Round 3
Elite giant skeleton (red, -57 HP)
Irves |
Irves shakes his head and it weakly climbs to its feet. Then it closes onto the remaining skeleton.
stand, stride (sharing space as Rout)
I think Irves is only wounded 1, from the first time that he was felled. The 2nd time as I used a Hero Point, his wounded value wouldn't increase?
Khunbish Nandin |
Although he sees Rout fall and Irves severely wounded, there is little Khunbish can do but try to take down the skeleton as quickly as possible.

fist: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 1 = 17 bludgeoning damage: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3, 4) + 1 + 1 = 9
fist: 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 1 - 5 = 11 bludgeoning damage: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6, 2) + 1 + 1 = 10
command animal, strike, strike
Victus of Pangolais |
Victus runs down the stairs and rams his shield into the skeleton and then slashes it with his sword (Double Slice)
Striking Shield Boss+1: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 13 + 1 = 28 bludgeoning: 2d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 1 = 13
Striking Longsword+1: 1d20 + 13 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 13 - 2 + 1 = 20 slashing: 2d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 8) + 4 + 1 = 17

Not sure, to be honest. Never had to get too deep in the weeds for the dying rules in PFS2 before. And today is no exception, it seems!
Khunbish's strike knocks the giant skeleton to its knees, the perfect target for Victus's finishing blow! As the bones clatter to the stone floor of the gateway, quiet falls over the keep; the only remaining sounds are a handful of zombies hopelessly trapped in some of the pits. The villagers cautiously emerge, then cheer the end of the battle!
A quick head count determines that the keep's defenses and the villager's impromptu training were both so thorough that the entire village survived the onslaught! Narsen breathlessly and profusely thanks you for your help and assures you that this has firmly cemented the relationship between Razmiran and the Pathfinder Society. He hopes for many years of productive and mutually beneficial cooperation ahead, a sentiment shared by even the most petty and nasty members of the community (to say nothing of the three who silently nod to Pyotr and Aloysius to affirm their newly established loyalties).
The next week, a group of new Pathfinders arrives, relieving you to return home. Venture-Captain Smine lets you keep the unspent gold as a bonus for all of your hard work establishing what he ironically calls "the Lodge of the Living God".
That's the ballgame! Chronicles should be up soon. Chronicles are up in Discussion!

Victus grunts as the last skeleton falls and has a despairing look in his eyes. Relieved to hear that the entire village survived, Victus turns his attention on some much needed rest and sleeps the remainder of the day. Once thoroughly rested he is eager to get out of Razmir.
May thanks for running GM! I really like how you had this organized for the downtime activities and overall had a blast!
