Otto O'Read |
Otto and Allison continue their beatdown on the ever-resurgent creatures, with Otto attacking the nearest automaton, and Allison attacking the reclaimers.

"They would stop getting stronger if instead of destroying them you just inconvenienced and delayed them," the cleric notes.
Ranalus shakes his head.
Allison the Allosaurus |
The dinosaur looks quizzically at the priest, as an errant schoolgirl looks in class when asked to answer last night's problems on the blackboard.

Otto likes to smash... Let him have his fun

Actually, the Reclaimers are the one thing that could still conceivably get to the Steward with the room full like this. IMO it's good that those are dying every turn at least.
Professor Baldeck Kaldosian |
"How much more time do they need to keep fighting?"

Toshiro and Coreleus can continue fighting for the round if they want, but by the Steward's turn this is over.
The light fades from the Steward's eyes, and his voice emerges from the web of stones orbiting the Spire. "You have done well, children of the Patrons. Now I have the power to restore my people. I can give you the rune you need to reach the prince's palace. And should you ever need a cup of tea or a place to relax, you will be welcome at the Sanctum."
As you search around the area, two small stones detect as both magical and not a part of the Iron Creche. Feel free to identify them! The Steward also directs you toward a hidden compartment that holds a Spire transport token.
At this point, you've reached the end of the level and have completed all major goals. There are a few places you haven't stuck your nose into, so you can continue if you like. You also have the option of proceeding to chronicles. Let's keep the more/not-more discussion in the Discussion thread.

Otto asks the Steward to keep an eye out for a small missing dog and to send word right away if he is seen anywhere within the Spire. "I'm sorry to say it, but I suspect he may have descended further into the depths...."
Ograk |
That dog was flagged an an invasive species by the automatons or something else ate it...
Yeah, I’m sure he just got lost...
Take 10 on bluff for a 14?

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
It is impossible to read Otto's expression behind his Signifer mask, but he turns towards Ograk in a very deliberate way. "You are "sure," are you? That is most interesting. Such certainty suggests that you know more about this case than you have revealed so far. Why don't you tell me what you know - I'm sure you don't want anyone to question whether you might have been an accomplice..."

Bluff: 10 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ 10 + 12 + (6) = 28
"See, I know that you know what you are doing, and now that you know that I know and you know that I'm a great investigator by the transitive property of my confidence that you are right, my confidence becomes evidence that you are right."
