Slowly adding this character in. Seems like a particularly glitchy time for the website. Please ignore the stats for the completely wrong character that I temporarily copied. Responses to queries coming when I find time.

Who are you, and what do you have to offer the party?

I will likely be bringing a level 8 pregen to the party as the character I would like to apply credit to is not at yet the level I would like them to be. I realize I could play a lower tier, but I have other characters I intend to replay with at the lower tiers. I'm usually more patient and wait until the character I want to earn credit reaches the appropriate level rather than using pregens but I learned to play the specials when there is an opportunity due to their limited availability.

I will probably bring Iseph (Operative pregen) though I'd be willing to consider swapping depending on the party makeup. Though there are pregens I won't play because don't care for them mechanically. I guess what I bring most whether Iseph or another pregen is flexibility to fill needed roles.

I played level 4 Iseph in 1-99 towards the same character, otherwise most of my jinsul/scoured stars story line missions so far have been with another character.

So far with this character participation in the jinsul/scoured stars story line has been limited to 1-99. I plan to play the season 1 "part 2" tier 3-6 scoured stars scenarios with this character Truth of the Seeker, Treading History's Folly, Heart of the Foe

"Listen here, little man! No one brings the pain and pleasure of the king of chains like this bull! You're speaking to the one and only Duhm Kaoh; Master of Pain and Music!" The heavily armored Nuar shows his fierce nature and strums his Axe Guitar. Then fishing around in his pocket for a pack of TUMOR brand smokes. "Just show me the stage and I'll get this gig rollin'!"

Actually use both a Inubrix Sintered Axe and a Euphonic Musical Instrument, but they are seperate items. The combo is theme and flavor only. Duhm Kaoh wears Hellknight Plate armor.

I AM A 9000 SERIES BUFF-BOT, SECONDARY DESIGNATION: m DOT a x {...}, INFORMAL DESIGNATION MAX. SPOKESDROID FOR HEAL-BOT 9000 SERIES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. YOU MAY ALSO KNOW ME FOR MY PERFORMANCE IN VIDEO MEDIA SUCH AS 'BLOODBOURNE PATHOGENS SAFETY' OR 'VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE' TRAINING COURSES.

Buff-Bot 9000 or Max is an envoy who does his best to make everyone else extra awesome. I have a bad habit of spending resolve for envoy abilities like candy, but since this is a special I'll try to limit that a bit this time. Max is a master of disguise and will always try to march in like he owns the place, hopefully causing enough confusion for his allies to get some good tactical positioning before things inevitably go south.

STAR SUGAR HEARTLOVE! Why? Um... because STAR SUGAR HEARTLOVE! Also I got to flex my muscles as a master of disguise.

Beryl is a quorlu diplomat with a greenish shell, two tentacle arms, and a third arm that has been replaced by a prosthetic. Engraved rings shimmering with a similar green color cover the weaker looking parts of his body. "It is a pleasure to meet you my fine companions. I prefer to look for a diplomatic solution in all matters, though I've learned that others are not so wiling to listen. I've obtained a friend...", he holds up the large shell pulsing with electricity covered in translucent tentacles that have wrapped around his own, "...for such situations where subduing the opposition is the only option."

"So, the society is returning to the Scoured Stars yet again. I was a new recruit during Jadnura's first ill fated mission and was trapped there until the Luwazi was able to mount a rescue. I admit I have been avoiding related assignments since then. A group of us has been pursing Devourer Cultists and the Corpse Fleet in search of a doomsday weapon, but the brass is pulling everyone for this mission."

I had a bit of the opposite problem Beryl had. I was expecting to be level 9 for the special, but instead things shifted so that I was going to be level 8 instead. So I would love to join this table.

With a boisterous laugh and a thud of a fist to a scaled torso a muscular vesk calls out, "Ah! Hello my fellow Starfinders! I'm Ivok Dracusk! You might know me from my net-cast show, Seeking Strength with Ivok! Outside missions I love to push others to their limits and find strength, speed, and health even in times of peace."

"On the field of battle though I put my own muscle on the line and match strength against the sort of fiends that would want to tear us all apart my friends." He adds, while flexing an arm, "I hope to give you all a moment to hit them with all of your strength. I'll fall back if I must, but hopefully that time is enough."

Ivok takes a moment to consider and tenderly run his hands over past wounds on his arms and body before answering with a decisive glare, "I've had to match my claw and muscle against their blades many times. Rarely have I come out unscathed and I don't expect safety in any mission with them. But I have seen the damage they have done to my fellow Starfinders and others. I've helped with rehab of many of the injured and I will put all of myself on the line to protect others from them. I owe it to you all, everyone else at threat, and my fans. I would find myself weak and feeble if I did anything less."

What's been your favorite SFS Adventure with this character, and why?
I really love all the adventures I've played. The previous special was a joy to play in and I will have fond memories of the unique Star Sugar Heartlove!!! For the moment though Honorbound Emissaries is my current favorite with this character, although that might fade, just because many of my character choices ended up mattering throughout the adventure.

Who are you, and what do you have to offer the party? Jindam, 'Jin' Lighstream. Male Halfling Xenoseeker Envoy. Jack of All Trades and really good at most of them. Jin is a seeker of knowledge and new experiences, though a recent death has made him more risk averse than usual.

Have you been assigned to any missions involving either the jinsul or gathering information and resources concerning the Scoured Stars? How have they affected you? Jin has been through most of the Season 1 Scoured Stars scenarios, only missing 1-29 and 1-39. (Though several of them were GM credits.) 1-13 was pretty important to his character, as it set him up for his reactions in another scenario, which led to his death. Shakes fist at the Star Daddy. He officially speaks Jinsul.

My wife's family experienced a pretty severe tragedy last night. I'm okay, but there's a very real chance that I'll be in and out in the first week because of it. When you get a chance, can you create a botting spoiler on your profile with your main attacks so we can bot you easily? Also, would you like to be botted through the first couple days of the special?

Speaking of botting, does anyone have the extra bandwidth to help Jindam create a botting spoiler (on a google doc, that he can then copy and paste from?)

One purchase I'd like to make before we start is a new weapon. I'm looking at 2 options. The preferred option is a Graviton Pistol, Tenser with an Inspiring fusion. I particularly intend to use this to shoot allies, either then get them into melee quickly if they wish it, or to pull them out of awful situations. I believe that in Pathfinder you could voluntarily forgo saves, but I'm not sure if that's the case in Starfinder. If it is allowable to shoot allies with this and have them forgo their saves, I'd like to purchase that.

If that doesn't seem kosher, then instead I'd like to get a Menacing Advanced Lance

You'll note in my player questionnaire that I request a 'Bot me' spoiler for all my games.

Generally speaking in every game -- even if there's not a pandemic -- everyone has times when they are busy or preoccupied. I recommend having a detailed 'Bot me' spoiler for all PBP characters. It's a great thing to put in your Paizo profile, even if you maintain your character sheet off-site.

While it might not be used in some games, it is something I would encourage you to have up at the start of a game each character at some point. If only because they are most useful to any group when the player is at their busiest.

If I didn't have botting commands ready, and a trip caught up on me leaving me with far less time to post, then it would be even harder for me to find the time to make botting instruction right then. By having it ready now, while I hope that I will have the time to play through the PbP, if I do become busy then the PbP game can keep progressing for everyone else.

Botting is useful to have all the dice commands ready to copy and paste (which is honestly useful for me to avoid retyping more complicated attacks or spell rolls), a general idea of how your character acts in common combat situations, how aggressive your character positions themselves, and what consumable resources (like spells) you are fine with being used by other players.

These are a lot harder controlling other characters and botting commands make it much easier to know what the other player would want rather than hesitating and figuring out what die rolls they make in a normal turn.

When first playing in PbP I wouldn't have thought about it, but running games myself and seeing others with and without Botting Instructions I would say it helps a lot with the flow of a game.

Oh, I see the usefulness of it. This is just honestly the first time I've seen it done with the full dice macros. I normally just list, "I do X or Y when in combat." Now I need to figure out a good place to put it on the cookiemaker sheet.

I would say to boost it and get it going. Unless someone else has an immediate suggestion I will spend 1 RP to boost Timely Inspiration.

Do the skill checks have to be done 'in game' to do something, or do we just roll the skill check? I'm happy to boost First Aid before sending it on if you want to save the resolve.

Medicine Check: 1d20 + 13 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 13 + (4) + 1 = 38

If your fifth player is a no-show, remove him. I advertised the open tables on Facebook, so maybe we'll get some last minute players!

My 5th player dropped a note and is unlikely to join. He/she has been hit hard by current covid 19 events and is not likely to have time to participate so our table is planning to make due with 4.

By the way, I thought that editing the slides was a great idea, even though I am also putting that information up top.
