Jindam is a male halfling standing roughly 3’ tall and weighing 30 pounds. He has pale skin, bright green eyes and dark black hair, cut close with a sharp streak of blue on the top left side. He’s young for a halfling at age 24, with a look of exuberant excitement. His body is unmarked by either tattoo or piercing, though he does not share his species distaste for augmentation. Jindam was born on Verces and spent much of his early life on his clan ship making runs back and forth to the planet and has a muddled Vercite accent.
According to family legend, the Lightstream clan has been wildcatting migrant colonies since well back into the Gap. With the discovery of Drift technology and the formation of the Pact, the clan has spent the last few centuries building up a list of corporate and government clientele who use the clan as scouts for new worlds in the wilds of space. If a young halfling wants to be taken seriously by the clan elders, they must go out into the wilds on their own for a walk-a-bout, and cannot return until they’ve made their own name for themselves. If they succeed, they can become a respected captain within the clan.
Jindam always relished the thought of this period of exploration even more than most of his peers, and left as soon as he was able to jump ship. He desperately wants to prove himself by discovering some entirely new places or races to introduce to his clansmen. He’s since hitched rides and worked freight making his way to Absalom Station, where he hopes to get work with the Starfinders as captain of his own modest vessel. In studying the group, he came to be quite impressed by the actions and fortitude of the Society’s currently leader and has joined the Second Seekers. He wishes to make his name fulfilling missions from the society so that he can return to his clan draped in honors and stories, which he writes about in a blog on the infosphere. From there, the only limit is the stars.
Jin has been on many missions since joining the society, focusing primarily on those of his benefactor, Luwazi Elsebo. He participated in the initial rescue mission to the scoured stars and many of the fact finding missions related to that mission.
Ever since dying in the Perplexity, Jin has been quite a bit jumpy and far more careful than usual. He still takes all of his roles quite seriously, but is a little bitter about the whole thing. Still, he died the first time for a cause he believed in, and he's more than willing to repeat the event, if push comes to shove. He just now knows in his deepest heart, how much it will hurt.

While in combat Jindam moves within 60 feet and targets the closest enemy with a Clever Attack rendering them flat-footed until the end of his next turn with a successful Bluff check. If caught in melee with an enemy he Clever Attack while taking guarded steps back. If he is unable to get out of reach, he will either Inspiring boost, use his dragon gland, or as a last resort, shift grips on his rifle draw his survival knife and clever attack with his survival knife.
If Jindam doesn’t need to move he will use Get ‘Em on the creature he is targeting. Inspiring Boost restores 18 Stamina.
