Nevermind. I underestimated the murder-power of my players. Please don't tell them.

GMAndrewW |

Anyone got a medic token? My players are doing the Black Caverns after the pillar and are running dry on buffs and spells.
I think this advanced nightwing is worse than the dragon on "champion" mode.
Maybe, the dragon is brutalising my group, they currently have 18 negative levels between them and it has just beathed again. Fortunately everyone who I cast quickened CL24 finger of death at saved.

My group has some medic tokens - still want one, GM Doug H? I'll pass one anyway.

GM Ietsuna |

Just after clarification on the medic success. It says every PC, so all 6 of my players get a medic aid token? Or is it only those who's aid characters were on the mission?

shaventalz |
My group is partway through the first optional encounter. I don't think they're in any real danger of death here, but they're running low on resources.
Are we still planning to end Part 4 on the 14th? I'm pretty sure things would get messy if we went to the second optional, and we wouldn't finish by the 14th.
On a side note... looking at the tracker, we really need more successes. Come on, people, avenge Ollysta! And that Shevar guy, too, I guess.
(Four Ritual-equivalent successes out of 10 or 11 necessary for the good ending.)

My table is in combat with the nightshade nightcrawler, their second ritual encounter. I expect they'll prevail and earn the House another Relic (now Ritual) success.
Please don't end the session earlier than scheduled.

I'm not planning to end early unless we hit the final milestone. Each GM should make their own decision on whether or not to start another encounter when the current one ends.

I assume we'll still get the "Earthquake!" warning from page 28 if we do start another encounter and run out of time?
If that happens and we finish the extra encounter (with the help from page 16), should we report a success? The scenario is a little inconsistant on that. Page 27 says to make a note of successCount when reading "Earthquake!". Page 36 just says, as part of the conclusion, "If the House earned at least..."

![]() |

We'll get the 'Earthquake' when it's triggered, either by successes or time. As you said, the scenario is pretty inconsistent with timing at the end. Go ahead and report successes as you earn them, by whatever means. I'll interpret the totals (and can always look at the timestamps to see when they came in).

![]() |

Looks like the House still needs 5 more successes to reach Milestone 2. Is that correct?
My table has yet to complete its second Relic encounter. If they succeed, that's one more success for the House.
How many other tables are likely to pick up another success?

![]() |

When I was posting the conditions, it looked like there were at least 6 tables in-progress on encounters.

![]() |

We only need three more successes, and there are at least 4 or 5 more tables mid-combat, so I'm sure we'll have them fairly soon.

![]() |

Reported the Relic success.
I don't expect our table to fight another encounter, unless the other tables are struggling and you think the House needs another success.

GM Hawthwile |

I mean, my table could probably punch through the bodaks in a round or two, but I don’t know if we have time for that before we move on.

![]() |

Our table can pass along an Aid Token or two. Does anyone want one? Which type?

GM Cwethan |

Buuuut one or more people might die, so they'd certainly love an Aid Token if someone's offering :-p
(Heroism won't do much for them, but either healing or something to boost attacks would be nice)

![]() |

Earthquake has been posted. This is your 2-day warning; I'll post the wrap-up Wednesday. Please apply the Speeding Up Encounters conditions, and wrap up any remaining combat in the next day or two, then run do the escape sequence. Those of you that are already done, feel free to do the escape now, or wait a day if you'd rather.

HOW DO I TELL WHAT PLAYER BOONS WE GET?Have your players roll a D20, if a player is unavailable you may roll for them. Remember to roll for yourself at the same time. A 19 or 20 wins a boon. If you or a player win, do another roll for each winner.
For PFS: Roll a d3 to determine which one you get.
There should be a drop-down the reporting form where you can mark who won what boons.
Additional note from Dennis:
IF ANYONE WINS be sure to collect their email address. You'll need it to report the boon win when you report your game.

And to answer your question, it's fine to start doing the bookkeeping, including rolling boons, whether or not you've finished your last encounter.

![]() |

Well, as a backup GM... I only got to do one post...
But how do you want to handle us, boon and chronicle wise?
I'll send you an email.

![]() |

How do we report the death/retirement of Aid Characters?
You don't report them, you're just supposed to mark it on their most recent chronicle. Ideally, the player could scan their most recent chronicle, you could mark it, and send it back to them. Otherwise, what's best might be to make a copy of the chronicle for this adventure with all the boons crossed off and N/A in the gold/xp/etc., saying that the aid character died.

Just wanted to make sure, since the reporting form for real PCs has a "PC died" input.

For Chronicle prep - do we know yet how many boxes to check off for the Necromantic Surge boon?

All transitions were triggered by successes rather than time, so they get all four boxes remaining.

It's been brought to my attention (thanks Doug!) that 10-98 doesn't show up on the list of reportable scenarios. I'm working on getting that fixed, so hopefully it will show up soon.

![]() |

That's the end! If your table was not done, please wrap it up at this point.
Thanks for all your hard work, GMs and backups. These specials don't happen without all the work you put into them.

![]() |

On another note, the reporting sheet still isn't fixed. In the interest of allowing you to wrap up your games efficiently, I've made my own reporting form for you to use. Please fill in your reporting info HERE. When the official one is fixed, I'll transfer all your reporting info over. Make sure to include your email address, as well as the emails of any players that won boons (these are required for reporting). Also, if you GMed both PF1 and SFS during Outpost and have not already done so, please indicate in the Notes section at the bottom of your tab which system you would like a GM boon for.

![]() |

Completed the spreadsheet you created for reporting the session.
Thanks for organizing, coordinating, and running the Special. Well done.

GM Doug H |

Spreadsheet completed; thanks for overseeing, Dennis. Your powers of organization and management are amazing!

![]() |

Dennis, how are we handling the chronicles (and boons) for the backup GM(s)?
Just sent you an email.

![]() |

Thank GM Dennis. My sheet is complete.

Yours is mined |

Individual Table GMs report our games to Dennis, and he or another VO report them to the paizo web site.
So you just have to fill in your custom spreadsheet tab >>Here<< Brew :)
